14 The fact that the mewling quims that run the GOPe didn't have a muscular response or any response to the Kenyan jackoff is telling indeed.

Orange Crush from last night: "what we need is a real fix, not a quick fix."

WHAT????

And I am sick and fucking tired of dick bags on the right parroting the Donk talking point that our immigration system is broken - IT'S NOT!

What's broken is our enforcement system because both parties want open borders, it's as simple as that.

We have an immigration system that allows over 1 million people to emigrate legally.

We have an immigration system that allows for 250,000 guest workers and H1b work visas.

That is not a system that is broken.

What's broken are our "leaders"

Terry Bean 66, a prominent Democratic Party fundraiser and co-founder of the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay Lesbian Victory Fund was arrested Wednesday on sex abuse charges involving a 15-year-old boy, The Oregonian reports. Bean's 26 year old former boyfriend has also been arrested and charged for the crime.

Bean's Flickr account shows him talking with Obama at several events, posing with first lady Michelle Obama and numerous other political figures, including former President Bill Clinton. A blog post from his sister, Sue Surdam Bean, detailed her brother's work on a July 24, 2012, Obama fundraiser in Portland. She included three photos of Terry Bean's ride on Air Force One with Obama to a subsequent event in Seattle.

What a rapist:

Clinton told the audience that Americans have come so far since the era of Joe McCarthy but have "one remaining bigotry."

"We're less racist. We're less sexist. We're less homophobic than we used to be. We only have one remaining bigotry. We don't want to be around anybody who disagrees with us," he said.

As an example, Clinton cited a poll he saw that showed 47 percent of self-identified conservatives only watch Fox News on television.

So, here's where I whine about ducks knowing the hunting regs.

I used to hunt from a kayak, snaking around bends in a salt marsh or way upriver at the marsh where the river rises. In hunting season, in areas where you're allowed to murder ducks, they sense you coming around every bend and are in flight already as you drop the paddle and raise the shotgun.

Then you go down to the dock at the marina, near the road, where they're safe, and they just paddle around mocking you.

I hate ducks. Each and every duck I see is just a dinner that got away.

Dear VP,

While I appreciate the sentiments expressed in your letter, and am not unaware of the sarcastic nature of your post, it strikes me that writing a scold or a satire is not exactly an......effective response to someone who is trying to subvert an existing republican system of government in order to consolidate power in their own hands. "A Republic-if you can keep it" Mr. Franklin is reported to have said in Philadelphia almost 230 years ago. Baring a drastic change in our society, culture and political "leadership", it appears that the final answer to that conundrum is "we can't be bothered".

204 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Thursday morning not only broke an "ancient" record from 1873, but we also dropped to the second coldest temperature ever recorded in the month of November in Jacksonville.

According to the National Weather Service, for the second morning in a row, Jacksonville set a new cold weather record. Thursday mornings temperature dropped to a bone chilling 24 degrees breaking the old record of 30 degrees set in 1873.

If that wasn't cold enough for you, Thursday's 24 degrees also marks the second lowest temperature ever recorded in the month of November, beaten out only by the year 1970 when the mercury dropped to 21 degrees in Jacksonville in November.

The GOP is in on this plan, there is no doubt.
Much goes on behind closed doors in the halls of the men who hold power. That power is like a drug, and a very serious thing. Far too valuable to waste on the people and some silly piece of old paper is no impediment to those who are ruthless and devious enough.
This is a long game and we are watching the end moves. As spectators, that is.

Nevergiveup, I agree with the above statement. However, if you listen to Perino's claptrap enough, one theme is consistent. She will support whatever is done in the Oval office, by whomever is doing it, without any concern as to party affiliation, or legality, because she somehow thinks that it protects George Bush's legacy. She will not fully criticize anything any president does, I believe, because she thinks it then insulates Bush from his own actions in office.

Actually there is a precedent for forcing a president to execute congressional budgetary action. Nixon lost a case before the Supreme Court when he decided to not spend money Congress budgeted. Previously he vetoed the bill. Congress over-rode the veto. Through Executive Powers he attempted to not execute the law by not spending the allocated money. Train v City of New York. I'm not certain if Congress has to fund Executive mandates, but I doubt it. The Dems will say that this action is paid for through fees, but Congress could certainly change that arrangement.

I have been researching the topic of homosexuality since the mid 1990s when I got into several debates regarding it.

Gays prefer underage young boys. They always have. The fact that it is illegal does not trouble them. Back prior to the 1970s, adult homosexuality itself was illegal.

They simply see existing law as a temporary barrier that can be safely ignored if sufficient precautions are taken.

There is a lot more diddling of young boys that doesn't get caught. This Bean fellow probably knew of so many examples of people getting away with it that he didn't take the danger of getting caught seriously enough.

He's been popping up now and then to say that they have been interviewing lots of people including witnesses who were involved and who had previously been off limits to the committee.

She has related the tale about when one of the President's advisors, who had left the WH, then wrote a book criticizing Bush(I can't remember who it was at the moment), she was furious. Bush called her in the office and told her she must forgive the person and let it go. She said that was an epipheny for her, in how gracious Bush was in being betrayed and she vowed to try to do the same herself.

360 Conservatives didn't win the elections this year. Republicans won. They think they way to win elections is to do nothing and have restraint. They aren't even asking how to fix anything, because they don't care. All that matters is picking up more seats.

Even if they get the Senate, House, and Presidency, their only goal will be to retain those things, so they will do (you guessed it) nothing.

And as things get worse, the parties will fingerpoint uselessly, and make common cause to benefit special interest groups.

The country is screwed beyond measure at this point, and it is only going to get worse.

I mean I don't know that but I keep hearing that. If these individuals do not come in contact with law enforcement how does this happen? I understand that someone who's here illegally will be leery of encountering the official world or bureaucracy - banks, hospitals, housing applications, etc. But will, say, a credit check for an apartment rental trigger deportation proceedings??

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's because a male heterosexual isn't attracted to young boys.

Reminds me of a conversation that didn't go well with my lesbian sister who triumphantly posted on Facebook about pederasts identifying as heterosexual. When I pointed out that it doesn't matter how they identify and that what matters is what (who) they actually do, it went downhill from there.

At very most, these people are bisexual.

391 >>Back taxes my ass. How the fuck are they going to pay back taxes on cash payments?

They won't.

But the bigger Gruber was that they will pay taxes going forward. They won't. Not the vast majority of them.

Only half of current citizens pay federal income taxes, the rest don't pay because they don't make enough money. They get things like Earned Interest Income, credits. So not only won't they be paying in, they may qualify for refunds.

Posted by: JackStraw at November 21, 2014 10:31 AM (g1DWB)

392 Just for a minute, escape from reality and just ponder on this thought; What would our society be like if we lived in a system where the laws were reasonable and fair, where there were laws that applied when men commit crimes, but laws were not hyper-numerous and *not* designed and written by men paid by lobbyists and corporate-croniyists.

Add to that a system where taxation was small and fair - that all men paid a part of their wealth on taxes, but this was in truth not a great percentage, in that the government was truly small and efficient, and it used this tax revenue prudently and truly for the ends of the society and not themselves.

And people understood not only real knowledge such as science and history and math and all of the things they were interested in, but they also understood and kept current on their governments because, for one thing, that government was not a leviathan monster but a truly lean and functional service to the society it served.

And this society was overseen by a document of some kind, that set forth in plain language what rights the people had and what things the government could not do to the people, and what it had to do for these people as well. And this government was made up of good and honest men, that did not seek to grow power for themselves.

Just think of such a place. This is what all free men deserve, and the looters and the thieves and criminals that abuse the power that they have and that waste the productivity of the the people that they serve are in many ways worse than the common criminal who commits a crime against another man. Decieving and stealing from the people as a whole, robbing them of their just and rightful liberties is a great crime!

And yes this is a fantasy... what could we name such a place?

Many cities have become sanctuary cities because of do gooder liberal ideals. They prevent the police from asking about immigration status, and hospitals are not permitted to refuse treatment to anyone.

In short, no a credit check won't trigger deportation. In fact, despite the credit check showing that the illegal has no credit record here, often the landlord would be hit with a discrimination lawsuit if they were to deny housing to a minority based on that.

The libs have done a very good job with the 14th amendment of completely controlling everything from health care to housing to employeent to make sure their favored nationalities and groups are given special treatment in turn for votes and campaign support.

417 I have been researching the topic of homosexuality since the mid 1990s when I got into several debates regarding it.

Gays prefer underage young boys. They always have. The fact that
it is illegal does not trouble them. Back prior to the 1970s, adult
homosexuality itself was illegal.

They simply see existing law as a temporary barrier that can be safely ignored if sufficient precautions are taken.

There is a lot more diddling of young boys that doesn't get caught.
This Bean fellow probably knew of so many examples of people getting

464 Further, conservatives have been given a huge gift--if they'll take it.

There is an opportunity to skim from the black vote. Or at least drive their Dem voting down to 80% or less.

And if that happens--because all the districts are gerrymandered majority black or white, nothing for Hispanics--the Dems will suffer from bloodbath to bloodbath.

The conservatives must start now in the black communities with campaigns pointing out how this is taking jobs they could have had.

And, start paying attention to the working class.

No matter how big a margin the Dems run up with single, college-educated women--it will never be enough if their trend of losing married women continues.

Remember: The Dem agenda lynchpin is kindness; the appearance of such. You can afford to be kind when your belly's full and your bank account's in the black.

But, nobody has spare money and, more and more, are wondering where the next meal will come from.

No party is yet addressing that . . . .

As I mentioned earlier, Lesbians are different creatures than are male homosexuals. By far, the vast majority of homosexual molestation occurs on the male end of the spectrum.

Most Lesbians don't molest children. They generally end up in more or less monogamous relationships, unlike homosexual males who are massively serially promiscuous.

I would suggest that unless you have specifically sought out information on the subject, you are likely very misinformed as to the proclivities of homosexual males.

I also perceive that you have no interest in actually learning the truth, and your call for "sources" is feigned. You don't want sources, you want an affirmation of what you wish to believe.

I picked the name "Diogenes' Lamp" because I have no intention of letting people get away with being dishonest.

I also perceive that you have no interest in actually learning the truth, and your call for "sources" is feigned. You don't want sources, you want an affirmation of what you wish to believe.

I picked the name "Diogenes' Lamp" because I have no intention of letting people get away with being dishonest.

I am a damn good bullshit detector, and I perceive what you want is to be told everything is fine in your thinking.

So does Obama. Unfortunately the truth is sometimes ugly and unpleasant.

As a matter of fact, I'll have you know that homosexualism nearly destroyed China ... which is why they have such strict laws against it.

Huh?

"Definition of PEDERAST : a man who desires or engages in sexual activity with a boy" - Merriam-Webster

So pederasts are male homosexuals by definition.

The whole ball of shit is connected from one end to the other. Homosexuality, Abortion, Welfare, Drugs, Lying, Stealing, Citizenship for illegals, it's all part and parcel of the same sickness that is pervading the nation.

It is going to end in bloodshed at some point. A lot of it.

"The gods of the copybook headings" are just an anthropomorphism of real economic and social laws. Laws of nature that will not be denied.

We are living in a period of artificial prosperity and it has made us stupid and indulgent of destructive ideas and behavior, and the piper will demand to be paid at some point.

515 Um, wasn't the original point, and the one that encompasses a huge part of everything we ever talk about, the orwellian distortion of the "press" that generates nationalor elite mass hysteria over literally nothing (the botched federal response to Katrina, the desperate military situation in Iraq, the !!!! outing of a super-secret CIA analyst!!!!, the "mission accomplished" moment, and on and on and on).

So as a "protected class" (lawyers, confirm for me that this phrase/concept actually exists in US law now, astonishing as that seems), gays and Dems and blacks and illegals who merit gigantic media circus lynchings are soft-pedaled or completely ignored.

Completely leaving aside any deep issues of sexual preference, pathologies, blah blah blah?

"Name that party" also is "name that ethnic group" or "name that sexual minority" when it comes to properly managing the information levels of Americans, right? So of course a triple-boxer (3 boxes checked) of gay Dem rich bundler gets the Iowahawk treatment ("media covers all the big stories .... with a pillow, until they don't move").

Amirite?

Posted by: rhomboid at November 21, 2014 11:26 AM (afQnV)

526 Correction: in an earlier bare-bones summary of the Dem bundler scandal thinggy, wasn't the minor victim of this an illegal? If so: make this a 4-boxer (4 boxes of "protected classes" checked". In this case, obviously the victim was a victim, not perp, but the general take-away from such a situation is that it adds one more (small) example of the problems with immigration lawlessness - weaker/more vulnerable people in great numbers. Usually this is understood in an employment context (make trouble and you're deported!), but it applies here as well.

We laugh at the Victorians for their taboos (saying "knickers" - oh the outrage!) but we have our own, and then some. There are any number of perfectly true statements that one can make only at the cost of being ostracized from polite society (indeed, any society). Instead, we have to pretend that the truth is what the consensus decrees it to be, rather than what is manifestly is.

I am very aware that there is a social cost for saying what I say. There are numerous people on this blog that dislike perhaps even hate me on the basis of things that I have said.

I wish it weren't so, but at some point a person has to speak the truth even if it causes grief.

I fear we have gotten away from speaking unpleasant truths, and much of the malady which infects the left has also infected the right.

Many of us also want to believe in a utopian fantasy rather than the ugly real world.
