Maybe he addresses it later on in the interview, but I think a big reason Reagan got elected was not just the economy and the government, but also national defense -- the Russians were on the march, and the Iranians exposed how weak we were in the Middle East. Obama is a shrewd politician; but I'm not sure he understands that Reagan was not only successful, but he was also right.
