Zombie Necrophilia on CBS?

I am *nearly* speechless after viewing clips from an almost-ran pilot for a CBS un-dead crime drama that was pitched as "exploring the emotional and societal ramification of loved ones coming back from the dead." I smell the thesis statement from a senior paper, don't you Steve-O?

4 Have hope--CBS just canceled the singing Casino show Viva Laughlin, so maybe they'll pick up the Zombie thing.

After all, CBS already has a Lord Of The Flies show (Kid Nation) and a Stepford Wife update (CBS Evening News with Katie Couric), so why not zombies?

Just show me the seven new episodes of Jericho. That's all I ask...

5 OH...MY...GOD...I've always been a fan of the zombies but those clips were giving me the willies.
But, then again, I think I'd rather watch that than most of the other crap on TV...
But, then again, ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....
