14 Electronic Arts finally drove a stake through the chest of the shambling corpse of BioWare.

Closest analogy for EA that I can think of from the movies is the monster in John Carpenter's "The Thing". It kills/absorbs the original, mimics it for a while, and then turns into something horrific before your eyes and tries to go after another one of your friends.

Get the flamethrower...

23 I am kind of sad to hear about Bioware although it's the kind of sadness from hearing about a friend you lost touch with dying from a terminal illness. The staff was very determined to force The Message!™ down the throats of gamers once they got rid of the good people and they insisted that their beliefs weren't to blame.

36 And as far as "Bioware" it's it sounds more like a place that does biological warfare than an outfit that makes computer games, although I appreciate that games can both be very creative and artistic, and I was fascinated by all those gamers who got hired to be air traffic controllers.

38 @35/FenelonSpoke: "What is a "Bullfrog Studio"?"

Bullfrog Productions Ltd. was the proper name, but they were a game studio that produced some very cool games. Here's the intro for "Syndicate" from 1993:
