But Freddy's Steakburgers hamburgers and shoestring-sized fries are awesome. Their frozen custard is good, too. And I just had a Sonic burger for dinner. They have their Smashburger line that's a decent burger. I had the Bacon Smashburger, and it's tasty, especially with their chili cheese tater tots. They also have their original style burgers, not as wide as flattened smashburgers, but still thick & juicy. And Sonic has plenty of milkshakes and Blizzard ice cream. Evening, Ace, and Cafe patrons! I am having a celebratory eggnog. Got another crusty old Yang Poon generator back in running order, Had to boil out the fuel tank with caustic soda. Tank rocking back and forth on my firepit, flames coming out the ports, and spurts of brown goop as the water boiled . It looked like Satan's percolator. For those who were online last evening on the ONT, an update, and thanks for the prayers. The boy shot himself in the leg. He is an idiot. Apparently he learned NOTHING from gun safety given him by DH. He was horsing around with another guy's handgun, and managed to shoot one bullet down his calf, luckily missing the bone but screwing up the muscles and maybe the nerves. And he chose to do this in the condo for which DH and pay.
The condo will be up for sale in about a week. Because of his stupidity, he will never get custody of his son, our beautiful grandbaby. Odds are we will never see the grandbaby again. He certainly will not be able to work for the next three to six months, so, destitute. We offered for him to move into our house once the condo is sold. He won't do it because we won't let him sit around stoned all of the time. Also, we aren't willing to house his skanky "girlfriend." The boy has humiliated DH and me for the very last time. At this point, detachment is our best option, and if he spends the next ten years couch surfing or on the street, I guess he just will.
