I don't know how 2015 f150 is put together. I would recommend you search youtube, and see if anyone has posted a video to show how it's done. If you have coil springs there, there can be tremendous forces pent up, waiting to whack your hands.

Might be that you need a hydraulic press, and suitable pushers and receivers to change the bushings. Which might be an easy job if you have that stuff, and not so easy if you don't. Maybe the "loaded" control arm cots little more than the bushings?

In a similar vein but not identical I remember an SF story about a world surrounded by a huge wall erected around it. The people had no idea why, then one day one guy determined to find out what was on the other side. He built a huge scaffold, got to the type and set off walking toward the sun. The farther he got the dimmer the sun seemed to be but he kept going. Then it started to grow lighter again and lighter still and he finally got to the edge of the wall and found the top of his scaffold and the team he had left behind. The wall had no other side.

Might be that you need a hydraulic press, and suitable pushers and receivers to change the bushings. Which might be an easy job if you have that stuff, and not so easy if you don't. Maybe the "loaded" control arm cots little more than the bushings?

In the true hollow earth theory book (yes, I read the 19th century original) they just draw a line on the shell and call it 'where gravity comes from'. Of course this doesn't work with Newton's law. Spinning the earth fast enough for gravity to work would flip everything on the *outside* off into space, followed by the shell destroying itself.

He posits a little mini sun in the center for light, which shines some light out the holes at the poles which is the aurora borealis. Not sure when the real explanation for the aurora came out.

Don't laugh. That's what a lot of the Flerf logic is. Gravity is static cling. Or it's "density" (heavy objects sink, light objects rise). Of course, when point out you need an actual external force to do that, one that defines which way is "up" vs "down", well.....

Being somewhat serious for a moment, the fact of the matter is that all the senses have a role to play. This is lost on Generation Screens, which have only sight and sound. No sense of touch, and even in terms of sound, it's largely overprocessed.

But for those of us who live in the real world, there is a delightful interplay of feel, taste and smell, three senses lost to the online world. There used to be jokes about "Smell-O-Vison" but smell is actually the most powerful of all the senses, which is why perfume/deodorant is such a huge industry.

It's a toss up as to what these glasses will be nicknamed in the future. Either they will be called "Cheat Googgles" (notice my clever play on Google) which means wealthy school kids will be wearing during tests.

Or worse:

They will be called "Pedo Specs". Because two knuckleheads at Havard (AnhPhu Nguyen and Caine Ardayfio) have integrated facial recognition and AI into Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses to identify strangers in real time. Large language models parse the data to pull names, occupations, phone numbers, and home addresses, sending the profile to the user's phone in seconds. So, cruising the neighborhood schools and playgrounds with your "Pedo Specs" saves time and effort.

Outlaw is listed for me locally on the OnTVTonight website, but my TV says "Channel Not Found." I recall when I first heard about it a couple of years ago, I could tune it in, but it was never a steady image and kept breaking up. Now, even after recent rescans, it's not there at all.

I think that is why college sports are so fascinating because whether or not they are paid, this are young men who are out there having what may be their one moment of glory, and we deeply respect that.
