MAHA: Get Your Kids Off Their Screens and Make Them Live Actual Life, Says RFKJr.

I mean, it's obvious, but it's good that someone in authority is saying it.

The Department of Health and Human Services has a challenge for American parents and children: "Live real life."

I think that's a challenge for all of us.

For example, garrett spends most of his days online trolling for gay cyberex. That's no way to live. He should be out there in the real world, dressed like a highway pirate from The Road Warrior, giving handjobs under the bridge.

The way it used to be.

...

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. exclaimed, "Today, adolescents -- a 16-year-old spends an average of 8.5 hours a day on screens. Even toddlers spend two, three hours on screens every day. Only one in four high school students has at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day." No wonder kids are unhealthier, lonelier, and more dysfunctional than ever.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Medicare and Medicaid administrator, pointed out, "This is the first generation of young people in America who are not growing up living just with their screens. They're living through their screens."

...

Kennedy reflected on his own experience in childhood. "You know, when I was growing up, I spent a lot of time in the woods, and walking in creeks, and outside playing with my brothers and sisters playing sports in the yard, getting scrapes, climbing trees, catching animals, and that connected me to something larger than myself."

Such an experience, Kennedy noted, "was shared by 10,000 generations of human beings that lived before there were laptops, before there were smartphones, and we have responsibility as parents, and as a government health agency. to do everything we can to get our children out into those experiences again, and prepare them for life." This is how we transform the future.

This is the way.

On the other hand: the left-wing fascists are now actively urging their weak, fat followers to be even weaker and fatter than they are now. "Fascists," by which they mean "non-communist mutant normies," may be fit, but it a revolutionary virtue to be weak and unhealthy.

Here, here! I support this agenda with all of my soul.

🚨 Da'Shaun L. Harrison at Socialism 2026 argues that the policing of "Black fat flesh" is foundational to broader "entire systems of governance."

"Without a population to discipline, there would be no BMI, no obesity epidemic, and no medical or scientific institutions organized around managing fatness," Harrison says.

Harrison argues that diet culture trains "obedience," "self-denial," and "discipline," before expanding the framework into what Harrison calls "body fascism."

That includes state efforts to define which bodies are protected or erased, calls for sovereignty intended to maintain borders, and the treatment of Black flesh itself.

Harrison then turns to Ozempic and other GLP-1 drugs, arguing that the broader effort to treat fatness as a public-health problem cannot be separated from Blackness.

At this point, I am genuinely at a loss for words.

Stu Smith
@thestustustudio

🚨 "The More Dysgenic, the Better": Beatrice Adler-Bolton Says the Left Must Give Up the "Fantasy of Being Fitter Than the Fascists"

At Socialism 2026, Adler-Bolton argues that "fitness is a measure of relative disposability under capitalism" and says the goal should not be to become "more useful to the ruling order."

She says the left should not try to beat fascists "at their own game" by becoming "fitter, more eugenic."

"In fact, the more dysgenic, the better, I think."

She closes by arguing that revolution is not "a contest between optimized and properly prepared bodies" and that the very idea is itself fascist.

Anyone have any gains to report? Or any interests, hobbies, or projects to promote/recommend?

I did a quick 48 hour fast. Supposedly, a fast this short (actually, the "Monk Fast" is supposed to go for 36 hours) does not result in any loss of muscle, but gives you a quick bit of weight control.

It also gets you back into ketosis if you've fallen off due to one too many cheat days. I did the 48 hour fast ten days ago and I remained in ketosis since then despite not being super-low carb, just moderately low-carb. I went out of it again this morning (after having some french fries) so I guess I'll try it again on Monday and Tuesday and see if I get the same result.

49 GAINZZ - I've been working on a project. I'm a 28.5 year old white guy in Canada who needs to make a living after caregiving for 14 years with a high maintenance 105 year old dog that needs me around.

But I've been working on something. I'm excited about.

I'm taking a break but I'm kind of streamlining some processes. I call it The Machine but it's going to make the API calls to OpenAI, Perplexity, SpaceXAI easier as well as the Python to process everything for the other programs I'm using.

It sounds more complicated than it is. But I think it's a good idea. And if it doesn't work, I learned tons of stuff for the next project.

And AI has gone down!! My scripts for OpenAI were $0.34 ---AMERICAN DOLLARS. And Perplexity is cheaper than I thought too - $3 for something that took it 2 hours to finish. SOLD!!

I'm just happy to contribute to America's trillion dollar data centers.

51 Don't laugh at me, but I've just started to get into Tai Chi. I'm in the beginner's stage that concentrates on flexibility and balance, while promoting muscle endurance. It's a lot easier to learn than I thought. Being over 29, I noticed a decrease in balance and, obviously, aches and pains associated with age. So I thought, what the hell...giving it a shot....and it's great. No equipment. Can do it anywhere. Twenty to thirty minutes every morning...we're done.

I'm working up to dynamic tension and antagonistic co-contraction, which are more advanced routines that focus on muscle definition and strength. Basically, you are putting one muscle group against another...

So, that's my Gainz moment. I'm actually enjoying it...and getting solid noticable results. Plus, the chicks dig it.

Monday squats:
1 set 305lbs x 8
1 set 255lbs x 8
1 set 260lbs x 8
Then a bunch of other lifting.

Wednesday bench:
1 set 215lbs x 8
1 set 190lbs x 8
2 sets 195lbs x 8
Then a bunch of other lifting.

Tuesday and Thursday I did 7.5km on the rower at max resistance in ~32 minutes. Then I hopped on the stairs at 1 step per second for 47 minutes.

Yeah well this has been pretty much criminalized. First the population was terrorized using the Adam Walsh case, making parents believe this was the norm and child-murderers were lurking around every corner, so the helicopter parenting started. It became the cultural norm to either hover over your kids at all times or keep them indoors, otherwise you were a bad parent putting your children at grave risk. Now you can't let your kids walk home from a playground a block away from your house without catching a charge and CPS crawling up your ass.

86 I've started bench pressing again. I stopped years ago because I'm terrible at it and unrelated back problems made me scared I would arch my back during the exercise. Anyway, the kids have the old bench press set up in the garage and I said "hey, why not?" Anyway, I forgot it's kind of a fun exercise. It's so different from push ups.

Anyone have any gains to report? Or any interests, hobbies, or projects to promote/recommend?

I have an attempted gain...

The lovely and lively Mrs naturalfake and I have been living in our home for about 34 years, and
she decided that she would like us the redo the master bathroom.

So, fine. Why not?

Then we started looking around at pricing the dang thing and it looks like it will come out somewhere between $50-70K.

So, uh...we're rethinking things.

Honestly, if we're gonna cough up $70K, I rather buy a new house.

91 It legit amuses me the number of 80s SF fans who don't (or won't) see that the original Road Warrior is one giant allegory for closeted gay men in the 70s. The subtext isn't sub-, it;s super. It's so super it should be flying around in a pink cape singing "heeere I come to save the gaaaaay"

That's more projection than a multiplex.

Ditto - I have a nice backyard with a pool, and over the back fence is a creek, woods and then the backside of a highschool. Deer wander through the woods to the creek every morning and evening. Hawks nest in the very tall trees in the wood. We plant a lot of flowers every summer and I live on the back porch. Put a TV out there and watch baseball all summer long. Will soon be time to pack it all up and close the pool. Winter starts in late October and the sun doesn't reappear until the end of April most years.

The main character in Graham Greene's Brighton Rock is a teenager who is repulsed by sex due to having to hear his parents get it on in their cramped hovel. He's a mob enforcer and to cover his tracks, decides to convince dim-witted 16 year old girl to marry him so she won't be able to testify, but he loathes the idea of physical interaction.

But since it was the 1930s, the marriage would not be valid if it was not consummated so he forces himself to have sex with her, only to find that it's not bad, and maybe even pretty good.

I think it's necessary to explain the character, though. A liberal pacifist becomes a killer because public order has broken down, and it isn't really the usual trope because his daughter survives but is catatonic, and it shows his son-in-law struggling with that. It's not just a throwaway premise, it is an ongoing pain that fuels his fury.

But since it was the 1930s, the marriage would not be valid if it was not consummated so he forces himself to have sex with her, only to find that it's not bad, and maybe even pretty good.

Fantasy can be weird like that- even before George the Pirate.

I remember in high school I read this one where a group of friends are playing D&D and get transported to a world where they become their characters. Interesting. Then the author promptly has all the women get gang raped and it's like 'oh fuck off.'

There was another author (in high school I read anything and everything) who it actually took me two or three books to realize the main female romantic lead always got raped in his novels.

THAT is when I started to realize that a lot of this stuff is a chance for the authors to work out their kinks.

I walk around the block in the morning, weather permitting.
I spend 5-10 minutes on the exercise bike right before bed, because walking doesn't fully contract the knee like I need to regain range of motion (dislocation in high school, never did get it all back, trying now).

I plan to gradually increase those, and if I get a job that requires me to get up so early I can't consistently get up 20 minutes earlier to walk, I'll move the walking to the evenings as a post-prandial.

BREAKING NEWS: I am pleased to announce that the United States of America has entered into an Agreement with The Kingdom of Denmark, and Greenland, that gives the United States permanent control over security, and all other needs, in Greenland, completely addressing ALL of our many U.S. concerns.

There will be NO COST to the United States! At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America.

Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can EVER have a base in Greenland, have a military presence in Greenland, or make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval.

For over 100 years, Presidents have known the strategic importance of Greenland, but NONE of them were able to do anything about it. I am proud to be the President that permanently and conclusively addressed this very important situation.

I think they are privately relieved.

I'm also going to take a victory lap because I've been saying for months that Trump has been spent all year stacking the deck with favorable announcements this fall. There is no way that Denmark just decided to do this today.

The Dems will of course be furious, and make themselves look every more petty and stupid.

We already have permissions from the first "deal" to explore the area for oil, minerals, etc anywhere we like IIRC. If we find something we might have to give the Danes a donut or something.

254 Penguins are frequently found North of the equator. Secret Nazi breeding programs in the late 30s left an extensive tunnel system reaching from Berlin to Antarctica to Newark. These tunnels are still utilized by Big Penguin as it continues it acrid push for world domination.

This is California's end also. The military will take over sensitive areas and also areas (neighborhoods or cities) for government and civilian workers - state law will not apply. The rest of CA will be a shit hole.
**** San Francisco and San Diego will be under federal jurisdiction; all local governance will be thrown out or in jail.
