First World Problems...

balmfail26.jpg

That seems like the perfect package to carry in one's pocket! But beneath the calm and seemingly well-designed exterior lays a trap!

The wheel at the base has a stop at one end of its range, but not at the other. So randomness suggests that eventually it is going to turn one way more than the other, and that direction pushes the lip balm into the cap, where it happily stays.

A better design would have some sort of ratchet or lock to keep the wheel from turning when not needed, and also a cooling system so that the balm itself isn't so soft from body heat that it seeps out!

These are the times that try men's souls!

A messenger bag would be more palatable, I think. But the idea only works if we remove the stigma of the mb being briefcase sized and allow for smaller ones. Like in between that and a fanny pack. 😂

51 Martinez Long was 19 years old on July 3, 2026, when he went to a mall called the Fairlane Town Center, located in Dearborn, Michigan. Somehow a fight broke out — through no fault of Long’s own — and Cameron Watkins shot and killed Keonte Seaborn. ‘Watkins then shot another person during a struggle, and continued to shoot his gun recklessly in the mall before Long acted.’ Long then ‘fatally shot Watkins,’ ending his rampage.

-
Sumbitch was carrying a gun and the judge let him, have it.

The judge admonished Long for carrying the gun and told him he has to think before he acts.

"Fortunately, you weren't injured, but nonetheless, you had a gun there in the first place, which was poor judgment," he said. "And what do you need a gun for protection in a mall, in the first place?"

-
Yeah, everybody knows malls are perfectly safe. He got two years probation.

(((A hydrating Lip Treatment powered by Marine Glycoproteins to deeply nourish, repair and protect skin. Seals in moisture to leave lips quenched, with a bright and refreshing blend of crushed mint leaves and just a touch of sugary sweetness. Instantly soothes dry lips with a gentle cooling effect and a glossy, clear finish.))

Want to guess the cost? It's "only" $20 for a tube the size of those sample toothpaste tubes at you standard hotel. Here are your flavor choices... Mint, Blueberry Frenchtoast, Campfire S'mores, and Gingerbread.

I'll save everyone $20...drink the daily alottment of water, clean your mouth after eating, don't drool, and cover up in very cold weather.

Here's something funny, my mom hired some random electrician to do some work on a distant property she owns and she can't remember where she got him, who referred him, how to get hold of him. She has an invoice with nothing but his name on it that she paid via a bank transfer. She needs to find him again for some business purpose or other.

I googled him and the only hit is on a doxxing website. Neo-Nazi Proud Boy white supremacist lol. He seems to have completely scrubbed himself from the web other than that. He might -- *might** -- actually be antisemitic, but I can't tell because the doxxing site is Antifa and they're about as reliable as your average nutty antisemite. Back when, your garbage would be picked up for the pig farm, sort accordingly and put in garbage pail in ground. Your trash was burnable, and burned, accordingly. Your rubbish, things that didn't burn, broken stuff, and the like, was usually placed in a barrel in the garage or shed and brought to the town dump periodically. If they had deposits on them, like tonic, the bottles went into a bottle bin, rinsed. Cashed in at the store.

130 This balm has rosemary extract. Most balms have an ingredient like that which contains menthol or camphor compounds. This is the source of the cooling sensation you get from many lip balms. The problem is that menthol and camphor are initially soothing and then later irritating. This irritation makes the wearer feel like they need another coating of lip balm.

I'm a Colorado high desert girl. I gave up lip balm once I realized what was going on. The best thing about giving it up is that I have had zero cases of cracked lips since giving it up. My lips have never been smoother or more comfortable. (No lipstick either.)

If it's windy, cold, or dry, the barest touch of Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream (unscented -- the scented stuff tastes nasty) will keep my lips comfortable. I might need it after brushing my teeth in the morning and again later if I've been out in the wind. The Norwegian cream contains no irritants like menthol or camphor.

131 Over engineering is not a good look CBD.
Now, what you need are small, single use applicators for the balm. Somewhat syringe shaped or bullet shaped that deploys just enough balm for one application. These you can buy in a pack, or clip, of 10. Just throw them in a drawer.

179 Oh, man, Germany is becoming very entertaining. It looks like the AfD won in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. But, that's not the fun part.

The Far Left group looks to be coming out on top in Berling (which is little surprise). But, here's the fun part. Those in power and the EU have been stating that AfD matches up with the WW2 Nazis, claiming both were far right (regardless of that not being true, it is a common narrative of AfD's opposition, the EU and the media). BUT, the "Central Council of Jews" in Germany is up at arms because they consider the far left more attuned to the WW2 Nazis and are deeply anti-Semitic.

(((Central Council President Josef Schuster on Sunday.

"The fact that a party whose campaign rallies openly called for people's deaths is set to emerge victorious from the election deeply troubles me." ))))

_________________________

The Central Council of Jews are directly challenging the far Left and categorizing their anti-Semitic behavior/comments....which directly contradicts the strategy of opposition to the AfD. So, to placate the Jews in Germany, they will have to address their misrepresentation.

Fun stuff from fallen Europe.

180 Wireless headset?
Posted by: SpeakingOf at September 20, 2026

The battery pack is wireless, but the headset plugs into the battery pack. I have looked into a wireless mic, but the ones that don’t sound like there is a windstorm or come flying off your shirt during cardio are pretty pricey. I would need a whole new receiver, too. It’s on the list of things that would be great to have when I hit 300 members.
