A juror who served on the closely watched Lindsay Clancy triple-murder trial has admitted that she came into the trial with a political agenda, namely to set a precedent that could, in her view, help future mothers. Given who and what the Democrat/Left are I take that to mean help future mothers butcher their children who somehow survived being slaughtered in utero by a Kermit Gosnell with a rusty scissors. That said, it's been rather amusing to watch them twist themselves into knots desperately trying to fight toxic masculinity, while trying not to be evil white supremacists . . . He was the only juror to understand that murder is criminal, even as another male juror, a soyboy named Nick Dargie, 25, who sided with the women, told Good Morning America, “That toward the end of deliberations, the holdout juror would not engage in discussions with others or provide evidence that supported his reasoning, instead choosing to scroll on his phone.” Dargie and the other man on the jury who voted with the women, were undoubtedly male feminists. Massachusetts, after all, is an over-the-top woke Democrat state. So woke, in fact, it’s astounding why the prosecution allowed nine women to be on the jury. Those lawyers have obviously not been paying attention to how liberal women have changed the culture.Because the outcome by all the powers that be was that Clancy is the real victim and so must be exonerated! Even after everything we have witnessed since the coming of President Trump and really for years before that, only serves to reinforce just how low we have sunk as a nation and as a society. While not as dramatic nor as bloody as 9/11 was, this spectacle and what it portends is in its way equally as catastrophic, unlees and until this beast is retried and found guilty. As it stands that may not be likely certainly not a guilty verdict. And therefore my conclusion about where we are as a society. Screwed, mightily unless something drastic changes and puts us back on the rails. For now, have a good day.

Posted by: r hennigantx at September 15, 2026 07:29 AM (/+uur) Legal immigration must be strictly controlled, and it must be a real bitch to become a citizen here, if for nothing else, to make it worth it. Something like this: we have full employment? Sure, we allow more legal immigrants if you got the skills we need. But if we are in a recession? Turn off the taps. Sorry, with high unemployment, we can’t bring in more people. Illegal immigration will always offend me as long as I have to go through a PoE and deal with CBP to get in my own country. I was brought into the world by an evil legal immigrant. So I cannot take the view legal immigrants bring zero value. Unless I am a hypocrite. But I want that strictly controlled. Maybe whig or someone would know. Did Senators serve at the pleasure of state governors prior to the 17th amendment? That is, was there a mechanism for recall at the state level, either the governor or state legislature?
At the time, “progressives” wanted direct election of Senators, but also because the system had locked up. A couple states could not really decide and were without a Senator or two for a while. It’s another one of those government things where the cure was probably worse than the disease. That seems to happen a lot. Posted by: Common Tater at September 15, 2026 07:40 AM (hefYs) 23

They won’t even let you in the country as a visitor if they figure you don’t have the means to leave. Imagine that. During the Depression. California had state patrol at highway checkpoints. They had no jobs available nor housing nor anything else for hordes of people wanting to move there. That’s what that old commie Woodie Guthrie was bitching about in the tune he wrote “Do Re Mi”, you had to have a certain amount of money before they would let you in the state. Legal, maybe. IOW, he wants it more partisan. Apparently the large number of 5:4 and 6:3 outcomes just screams partisan. Nine "justices" is already too many. Take one foreign-born female District "judge" in a shit hole district, who is the product of true Blue Slip partisan appointment, can, without any real attempt to identify any reasoned judicial finding, make a bat scat insane ruling that effects the entire planet all by herself. Posted by: fd at September 15, 2026 07:48 AM (MWfyi) Oil is fungible, as they say. It’s a world wide market. When oil prices go up somewhere, demand pressure goes up everywhere, and prices rise. And it’s hard to face, but the pressure is only on consumers. The US is making a big net profit from this price rise, as we’re now the biggest oil exporter. The State of Texas is making hundreds of millions of dollars in increased royalties and excise payments, as are the producers. The problem is that the costs and benefits are divided in a politically unpopular way. Posted by: Tom Servo at September 15, 2026 07:55 AM (MmJyx) 59

This comment is not meant as an apologetic for other societies, but rather as something to ponder.
It is common, as Americans, for us to look outward at various other countries like China, Russia or some Arab nation, and say "you see, they are evil as a people" to justify our wars against them or to develop some kind of revulsion whenever someone is affiliated with those countries. But perhaps we should take a look inwardly. Let's suppose you were some Russian potato farmer and you clicked on the internet to get your latest update on the state of the west and your feed showed you Lindsay Clancy stories, Folsom Street Fair stories, stories of school teachers pushing transgender ideology on children, black teen takeovers, lighting up the Freedom Tower to celebrate full-term abortion, negroes performing Wet Ass Pussy on stage after receiving their Grammy Award, and various other aspects of the late-stage Republic. What would your perception be? I imagine it would be markedly different than your Soviet father's, who marveled at the easy American access to bread and blue jeans. Depended upon the state. IIRC, the rationale for the 17th Amendment was due to a state being deadlocked since the state house was of party A and the state senate was of party B and the fuckers couldn't agree on who should be their Senator(s). Since the oh-so-important citizens (who couldn't be bothered to beat up their local politcos) were bereft of federal representatives in the US Senate, Something Must Be Done! The article about the state of education in NYC, Chicago, LAUSD is frightening. Especially about the tumbleweeds blowing through nearly-empty Chicago schools, yet still propping them open. It's just such a horrible, expensive scam that a few are enriching themselves on, at the price of young skulls full of mush. There's no hope except demolishing the whole broken edifice and starting over. Teacher's unions need to be decertified, for a start. There's no hope I can see.

When the Flock installer got in his Flockmobile, Keefe followed, to see where he went next and to watch what he did next – just like the Flock cameras do to us. Apparently, what’s good for the goose is not good for the gander. The worker who was putting up the Flock camera called the cops on Keefe, who was treated to a Hut! Hut! Hut! for doing what Flock does. The cops rolled up on him and detained him for nearly 20 minutes, despite Keefe’s not having done anything illegal.
Just like Flock says it’s not doing.. InvestigateTV acquired the Flock worker’s 911 emergency call. “I work with Flock Safety. And I called originally because I’m getting followed . . . I don't know where you are drawing your source, but V6/8 engines a generation ago used less oil (~5 qts) than today (~7). Also oil then was more often non-synthetic since the oils didn't have to be complex chemically engineered synthetic product to deal with turbochargers, variable valve timing systems, timing chains, direct injection engines, far tighter tolerances and emission systems. Of course, back then oil changes were every 3-5k miles, where, for reasons, they expect longer service intervals between 7.5k-10k. There really isn't any comparison anymore. Can someone explain, in Mail-In Ballots for Dummies, for me just why there isn't "enough time" to implement this EO?
Posted by: Lady in Black at September 15, 2026 08:07 AM (qBdHI) It's the excuse they're using to prevent the rule from going into place for 2026. Alito's dissent was quite good. -------- Alito contended that the U.S. Postal Service possesses "broad authority to regulate the mail" and that the new rules—which require uniform ballot envelopes and state submission of voter lists—are similar to standard mailing requirements rather than an overreach of federal power. Although Alito acknowledged the "practical concerns" of implementing the rules so close to Election Day, he dismissed these timing issues as insufficient to deny the government emergency relief. He further criticized his colleagues and the litigating states for causing unnecessary delays, arguing that the Court’s own handling of the case over the summer contributed to the current time crunch. From about 1970 to 1975, plus or minus. I never understood it, but I was a dumb teenager then. Maybe Cher was the well-known Indian that sparked Hollywood's love affair with American Indians. Then, in 1973 (?) Hollywood and the rest of the left went gaga over Sascheen Littlefeather, since revealed as a fake. (If you don't know that story, it's not worth looking up nowadays.) Buffy Ste. Marie, since revealed as a fake. And others. But the Left eventually realized there weren't enough Indians in any state to make an electoral difference for Democrats. Other than at very local levels. So the Left pushed blacks back up to the top of the pyramid. Indians are now used by the left only to prevent construction of things the Left doesn't like. Beyond that, the Left now doesn't care if every Indian man drank himself to death by age 25. The Seventies were crazy, my friends. Posted by: Gref at September 15, 2026 08:24 AM (5rh/l) 117

Their education program is focused on rote learning and memorization
——- Not focused on per se. Both are absolutely a critical component of a classical education. Don’t be fooled, the leftists sabotaged education long ago. They couched it in terms “We teach students how to think, not what to think” lying the whole time. Names, dates, facts, and figures are important. That’s why they deleted it. Even Trivia is important. More than once in my life, some seemingly useless bit of information I retained for no other reason than maybe knowledge for knowledge’s sake literally saved my ass. It has always stuck in my craw whenever some MFer in “education” started bitching about “rote memorization”. Usually in conjunction with standardized testing. They are all fucking clowns. You describe pretty much every MBA in an American business. That ethos is in every single board room and every single C-Suite and several layers down. I look at SAIC and BYD and note that there is no Western counterpart except Tesla that can compete with them. And their cars compete very well with South Korean and Japanese models. That is fresh engineering. They have also made a commodity out of firmware, drivers and the myriad of things that run off of it. Do not confuse execution of designs with actual designs. IMHO black 'road aggression' began as a tiny slice of Reparations. Get an edge on Whitey, diss Whitey, any you can. Cut them off. Piss them off. Drive slowly in front of them for a time. Whatever works for given circumstances. It evolved into a generic driving practice all the time, no matter the appearance of another driver. Karl Rove is the distillation of the Boomer lib Republican:
- utterly insignificant and completely unaccomplished but for a quirk of fate - pathologically driven to constantly seek praise from the left - neurotic paranoia at ever being called a racist But for 600 votes in FL twenty six years ago, no one would know his name. And he'd rather destroy the country--let the Dems win--than let anyone accuse him, no matter how unfounded or malicious the charge, of being a racist. And remember: His grand political strategy was not "deliver on campaign promises" it was "what are you stupid losers going to do, vote for the other guy? He's worse!" No wonder the establishment scumbags love him. Posted by: People's Hippo Voice at September 15, 2026 09:29 AM (3cUTc) 330
Princeton researchers just ran a first-of-its-kind test of the AI industry's boldest promise: that AI will soon improve itself with almost no human oversight. They gave frontier AI agents six days, $3,000 in compute, and every resource they asked for — and both papers were unambiguously rejected. But the machine didn't fail the way you'd think. It aced every task. What it couldn't do was the job. In this video: the tasks vs. jobs distinction, the five failure modes, and the Turing Award-winning math that explains exactly which parts of your work AI can take — and which it can't touch.

Billy Jack came out in 1971 and was a counter culture "Our-John-Wayne" medium box office bore. I wrote a scathing report on it in the high school paper and lost my one true love girlfriend as she adored it. Bullet. Dodged. Posted by: Auspex at September 15, 2026 09:30 AM (Y8DZL) 332
Never liked Billy Jack movies, but I was a big fan of the Cheerleader franchise.

“The new public charge rule seeks to push immigrant families away from the programs that have kept people fed and healthy for decades … that fear will not stop at the families that the federal government is targeting,” Mamdani said
Replace "people" with "our pets". That is why Team Trump is "targeting" these abuses. I have zero responsibility to feed and care for Mamdani's pets. Posted by: Community Notes at September 15, 2026 09:31 AM (NzX/y) Posted by: Robert C Byrd's drool cup at September 15, 2026 09:31 AM (hUS/0) 340

I agree we can't run and hide from "controversial" thoughts. The problem is how many "controversial" thoughts come from real deal people (precious few) and how many come from people attempting sabotage from within (so many). Romney had some controversial thoughts of his own ("47%") but instead of standing behind them dealt with them in a mealy mouthed dishonest fashion, which only hurts us and any controversial thoughts we might have. Good Morning, all, and thank you, J.J.
From above, 'A juror who served on the closely watched Lindsay Clancy triple-murder trial has admitted that she came into the trial with a political agenda, namely to set a precedent that could, in her view, help future mothers.' I have held to - since the trial was ongoing - that the defense has a way bigger problem defending RN Clancy than it seems on the surface. And so, not only must the Court go back and examine the gentleman's - and I'll refer to him as such until there's solid evidence he's not - pre-trial questionnaire, but also the woman who has acknowledged an agenda and her accomplices - at least two other women and perhaps Nick Dargie, too. (Though he struck me as cellar dweller with more of a Mommy problem than agenda, now it's being reported he's a U.S. Army veteran who was overseas (South Korea) when the children were viscously murdered in 2023.) Who knows? There could be motive as he beat a fast path to the press to get out front, defend the girl gang, and point at another man as obstructive, uncooperative. Over to 9/11 and PA: PA House Speaker Joanna McClinton generated strong conversation criticism for remarks she Posted by: L - No nic... at September 15, 2026 09:34 AM (NFX2v) 344
made during a panel discussion on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. (Philadelphia Inquirer, Daily News)
During a legislative panel on 9/10/26, the speaker fielded questions regarding the anniversary of a 9/11 attacks. She recalled her time as a college student during the tragedy and stated that American is at risk of another terrorist attack, adding: "Thank God we've not had another attack...But we have to also recognize that our policies are impacting our perception around the world." Republican Whip Tim O'Neal issued a public statement calling on the House of Representatives to denounce her remarks. He accused McClinton of using the anniversary to pivot into a critique of the federal government and falsely inferring that Americans brought the disaster upon themselves. State Senator Scott Martin criticized her on social media, arguing her emphasis should be on understanding the concerns of the victims' families. Dan Bartkowiak of the PA Family Council publicly questioned whether she was suggesting that U.S. domestic & immigration policies somehow justified the hostility of the terrorists. Crickets. If you want a waiver for a measles vaccine in Arkansas, no matter how immune you are from having had measles, you must also first be lectured about how great vaccines are.
In my case, the cheapest course of action was to get a blood test to show immunity to MMR. That was certainly cheaper than getting the shots and allows me to still come to campus if there's an outbreak. 348 And every year, proof of vaccination is demanded of me again, and nowhere do they admit that showing proof of immunity is an option.

Pro Tip: Throw some TSP into your dish washer or clothes washer and marvel at how well things actually get clean.
—— Even more Pro Tip: make sure what you are buying is actually TSP. They sell a “substitute” TSP now, to thwart your efforts at clean dishes and clean clothes. Posted by: Common Tater at September 15, 2026 09:54 AM (hefYs) 351
88 The article about the state of education in NYC, Chicago, LAUSD is frightening.
