When an elephants wants to play with you, you're going to just have to play with him. You literally do not have a choice.

Traditional Nepalese goat-balancing.

Dancing robot.

Yay, I did it!

Baby's first steps.

On to some Adult Babies:

Oh no, someone stole my bag! This actually sucks. I could see this happening to me.

Stupid people cheer as a nearby volcano blows its top, apparently believing that because the volcano is on a screen and because nothing on a screen can hurt you, they are perfectly safe.

Idiocracy wasn't supposed to be a user's manual.

YouTubers suffer disasters as they make "unboxing" videos. One big problem I see: Instead of laying the product on the desk and shooting from above while they open it, these Influencer-Types are determined to get their own faces into the shot, which results in them having at least one fewer hand than necessary.

There's some of this going on, but a couple of Soyboy Beta Cucks do it too.

womentakingphotos.png

Steve Inman:

Entitled Karen attempts a simple grab-and-run robbery at a gun store, and quickly learns why women should not compete with men in track or Greco-Roman wrestling.

Drunk Karen keeps f***ing around until the woman she's laying hands on lets her find out.

On Rumble: Karens Gone Wild.

More on Rumble: Knuckle sandwich buffet.

Also on Rumble: Content warning for this compilation of vids of civiians fighting back against criminals, because in many cases, shooting ensues and some criminals look like they're dead.

Finally, another Rumble compilation of criminals finding out that law abiding citizens have guns too, and they're usually better shots.

32 "Houston, we've had a problem" was the actual verbiage on 13, first uttered by Jack Swigert most likely. Lovell reiterated a few seconds later. "Roger 13, we're lookin' at it" was the reply. And then they spent a half hour on the ground wondering if maybe it wasn't "an instrumentation problem" which wasn't necessarily wrong, but they did waste a lot of time chasing phantoms. I don't think anybody on board the spacecraft thought it was an instrumentation problem.

When I was in college my first credit card (which I still have) was an AT&T Universal Card. It was credit card, but also a PHONE card, with a code on it and the phone number you called to get a discount on long distance and - most importantly - pay phones. So if you found yourself on the road and needing to call home after a breakdown, you got a discount!

This is why I'm not bothered: the Trump administration is aiming for the dove's eye.

I think it was in The Aeneid, the Roman Odyssey analogue by Virgil, that there was an archery contest using a living dove with its foot tied to a ribbon. The first contestant hit the ribbon by accident, so the dove got away; and two others loosed their arrows at it in flight, also missing. The judge interrogated the contestants about what they aiming for: one the dove, one its head, and one its eye. The last one got the laurel wreath.

Trump and his Cabinet are playing hard for the midterms, and strict compliance with all court orders helps with the muddled middle, so there's not even a ghost of a kernel of truth to the Left's lies about his lawlessness. But all these issues will be resolved long before the 2028 election, which is the championship game that will decide if America collapses into permanent one-party socialist rule now or gets a 4-year reprieve.

It is no accident that the more we have "scienced" behavior rather than using traditional morality and the allure of sin to explain human behavior, we have gotten more pagan.

Much of "mental health" these days is explaining away sinful and evil behavior to avoid negative outcomes. "She's just mentally ill," but the more therapists we create, the crazier society becomes. Talk about escalating failure.

This is a spiritual problem, not a pseudo-scientific one.

Wrong. You're a century too late. I'm talking about the crisis of faith in the West.

The craving for a "scientific" approach to problems and the elevation of the secular over the spiritual are what is at work here. Once you declare religion off limits, secular materialist morality takes over, and sees people as mere objects, animals like any other. So a mother killing her children is no big deal, because a human is the same as a dog or a cat - except of course that laws against animal cruelty are now far more strict that those against harming humans. If she'd drowned puppies she'd have been without a single sympathizer.

On the contrary, they did it because they had lost faith. Instead of striving for the eternal, they became fixated on the temporal. The material became more important than the spiritual.

Grant money, government funding, empire building - all material considerations. It's still going on - American bishops telling illegals they no longer have to go to Mass, that they do not need the sacraments because the risk of deportation is worse than the loss of their souls.

Meanwhile every Mass in Africa could be your last. No dispensations. Souls are more important. Happily the Boomer bishops are on their way out, but it will take a while to clean up that particular mess.

No, I don't control the definition. God does. He sent us prophets, offered us miracles and sent his only begotten Son to redeem us.

Secular governments have a marvelous and unbeaten record in killing, torturing and starving people to death. That's because there is no such thing as secular because all people believe in something. The point of secularism to to categorically disqualify Christianity as a source of moral instruction, substituting anything else.

And that's how a mother can kill her children in cold blood and people justify it.

167 Because there is a qualitative difference. The Never Trumpers are being slowly purged. Tillis, Cornyn, Cassidy will all be gone. Replaced by MAGA types. Same story in the House.

There's a huge difference between a majority and a "working majority."

It is Senators... REPUBLICAN Senators, that have derailed the agenda.

By Kowtowing to the Senate Filibuster rule... a rule which can be rewritten with a simple Majority vote...

And even going back to the OLD Filibuster rule, where they had to speak on the floor to hold the filibuster... would have allowed the majority of the Conservative agenda to move forward... yet... they did not.

Hell, they would not even fire the Parliamentarian... who is CLEARLY Partisan.

So... as someone who has had his hopes destroyed every time we put Repubs in total Power? Yeah... at this point it needs to be proven.

Yes, we all remember when Trump 1.0 had the trifecta and Paul Ryan, who had his big cool Fiscal Blue Print ready to go torched it and tanked the majority.

But there has been a multi-year process of the GOPe being shown the door. Four years ago, the Michigan GOP was a mess because of the infighting and we got wrecked as a result (also cheating). But now it's the Dems who are at each other's throats. A fundamental realignment is taking place, and that bodes well for the future.

227 We all have our stories of 9/11. And it all comes back, every detail, 25yrs later.

Never in a billion years did I think NYC would fall to the likes of Mandingo for a mayor.

I saw the second plane hit as I was on the phone with my sister-in-law out West. Their uncle lived in a penthouse two blocks from the WTC and I was telling her to turn her tv on when the second jet hit. I remember saying, "This is war" vs a small plane and called my husband, whose work was with defense contracts.

If you've seen the French documentary of 9/11, his cousin is the NYPD Fire Chief...who watched his brother go up the tower to his death. Those guys only made it to the 36th floor, I think, before the collapse.

He had many cousins in the NYFD and NYPD at the time from a huge Catholic family. Second generation NYFD and NYPD.

Four were missing but unknown condition for 48hrs and survived, thank God. All good men and proud of what they did. His grandfather was a NYPD who had a Rockaway Beach detail on horseback.

Our ED/Trauma Center in FL were notified to expect injured. They never came and it is nothing short of a miracle that 15k survived...as there were 17k people in both towers that day.

One of our neighbors hosted a neighborhood dinner/game night, where we met another neighbor who lives on the next block. When we introduced ourselves, her first statement was "I am not a believer" like it was something she really needed us to know right off the bat. Uh. Okay.

Of course, it didn't take long to become evident that she wasn't a believer. It was so obvious that she didn't really need to say anything.
