Left Agitates for Killing People in the Streets for Socialism
James Talarico's "Pastor" Says He Wishes the Butler Assassin Had Been "More Successful"

Jonathan Turley:

"You better get ready for ... war." Across the country, radicals are openly planning for the next stage of their movement, and notably, the Democratic establishment is not part of their plans. Despite the talk of a "Big Tent Party," socialists are riding high on a surge of support and talking purges and revolution.

In Chicago, radicals gathered for a conference on Marxism during what many view as the heyday of socialism in the United States....

Speakers in Chicago used the conference to push supporters to the next stage in the movement, including some openly calling for violence and the end to capitalism.

University of California Santa Barbara History Professor Butch Ware said Democrats "must be destroyed" and urged attendees to be ready for "war in the streets." Notably, in postings on X, Ware has said that candidates such as New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed are too restrained and are being pushed by the establishment "to contain radicalism."

The professor "of Africa and Islam" whose faculty page is appropriately found under "bware" is the latest radical to dismiss the "Big Tent Party" rhetoric of establishment figures like Schumer. He declared, "The Democrats cannot be reasoned with. They must be destroyed." There is little subtlety in the message, Ware has explained: "You cannot call yourself a revolutionary and not be talking about training with weapons."

...

Hasan Piker has called for a purging of moderates from the Democratic Party.

Just last week, Darializa Avila Chevalier declared, "A big tent doesn't pay your rent, lower your grocery bill, or take on the corporations bleeding our country dry. Democratic socialism does."

In a video posted to X, Professor Ware called for violence, warning followers that "some of these clickety-clack revolutionaries have never been in a f*cking gunfight." He menacingly added, "Y'all ain't nowhere near ready for a war in the streets. You better get ready for both kinds of war if you stay ready, you ain't got to get ready."

...

Notably, this is the same university that saw a professor lead her students in physically assaulting pro-life advocates on campus years ago. Despite pleading guilty to criminal assault, she was not fired and later honored by the University of Oregon for her inspiring leadership.

Totally-heterosexual James Talarico's totally-heterosexual "pastor" says that he wishes the Trump assassins had been "more successful."

Actually he just refers to one Trump assassin, the one who actually hit Trump, but there are, what, four now?

Yeah, but I don't want to lose any of the land of the USA, including Virginia.

The left used a long march through the institutions of education. Trump's taken on higher ed, at least to some degree and probably to the limits that the GOPe will permit. However, he needs to directly uproot the K-12 system. It probably has to wait until after the mid-term, but then he needs to hit the ground running.

Add requirements via regulation for curriculum to teach patriotism (heck, mandate Prager developed curricula). Make it so unpalatable that leftist states and local governments forgo federal money for their schools.

I read an analysis that said Paxton has played this exactly right. 83 The "nostalgia" for the 1960's is from people who never lived through it. They have no idea what those hippies and Yippies did to society, because they have always lived in degenerate times. Free love brought us horrible STDs that are not curable, and crushed women's dignity and safety. It also damaged men beyond repair, leading to porn and misery. The destruction of the nuclear family, the advancement of government dependence, the lack of tether to anything resembling history, the dumbing down of education and achievement, and the concept that life owes everyone a living have destroyed what was a reasonably coherent nation.

Fuck these "new revolutionaries" and their stupidity.

Our church is full of former southern baptists, including the pastor!! (And us!! my dad was a deacon and a messenger to the SBC convention!!!) I realized I grew up in a Reform Baptist/Southern Baptist, because the liturgy of the PCA was very much like the services we had. The seeker sensitive movement that began in the 70's got rid of that beautiful worship and broke the church into the nonsense we have now.

The old ladies at the church will tell you, priests come and priests go, but the Church remains for us. The same is true of Popes. Catholics have always withstood bad Popes, through the centuries. Hell, we've withstood not having a Pope because the idiots in the Curia wouldn't vote on one. Popes are not the Church, just like bad priests are not the Church. I could never abandon the Mass and the Sacraments, and neither of them depend on the sanctity of the priest offering them. They are the way Jesus comes to us physically, and I just could never leave that fountain of grace and mercy.

YMMV.

163 150 I go to a Southern Baptist Church, but most of them are pretty independent. Our Church is absolutely Bible based, and the Pastors are masterful in breaking down the concepts into what that means to you and for you, even if the message is pretty strong in the you don’t get to pick and chose camp. It’s positive, the community outreach is incredible. It’s filled a big hole in me.

175 153 tcn: Episcopalians and Methodists retain some of the saints of the Church, starting with the Evangelists and Apostles. Their intercession is not sought but they are respected in the names of churches.
Lots of Saint Marks and Saint Johns in Episcopal churches in Houston. (And schools. There's a Saint Francis as well.)
Posted by: 88C+u at September 09, 2026 04:55 PM (88C+u)

Well, why have them if you aren't going to talk to them? Sorry, I'm Catholic, and we believe the Saints are called saints because they are in heaven, and see Jesus face to face, as it says in the Bible, so there's no reason why we can't ask them to intercede for us, just as we ask others on earth to pray for us. What's the point of having a saint if they are just there standing around?

I understand the notion of idolatry, but that's not what we do since saints are clearly not God, so it is a bit difficult to understand from my viewpoint.

If all the bruthas simply stopped shooting each other, and instead trained their guns on Whitey, then we could easily wipe them out and take control of America in a matter of weeks.

My impression is that the bruthas need to be in point blank range to shoot each other. Anything beyond 20 feet is more or less safe.

Ah yes UCSB, my old school. One of the easiest campuses to get accepted in the whole UC system (which is how I got in without ever taking the SAT), where drug use is a sacrament. Next door to one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the US, Isla Vista, where the whole place smells like a pot farm. Populated by hippy wannabes and bearded homeless pedo men who got off by walking onto campus with a sweatshirt that said "masturbate and be free". Used to see that creepy fucker every day during on-campus days.

Absolutely none of that is true. Luther explained his reasoning on the Castle Church door in Wittenberg.

You might hate Luther, but it is not a reason to lie about Protestantism's confessional origins.

Now the anabaptists, Waldensians, Hussites and Lollards also broke from Rome for doctrinal reasons. Rome ended up murdering Wycliffe for daring to bring translations of the Scriptures to the people.

St. Francis was opposed to the Church’s accumulation of material wealth. Had he not stayed within the Church, he no doubt would be described as having mental and emotional ills. Jan Hus certainly was treated as a heretic and the Holy Roman Emperor’s promise of safety was nullified by that presumption. Luther too might have burned were it not for the protection of certain German princes. The Church needed reform, but wanted money more. The Protestant Reformation was inevitable and bloody. And of course, “the” Church had already split and anathematised the Orthodox Church, which has the same claim to originality as “the” Church. The Protestants claim to be the true church as well. My church says both the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed which recognizes one true catholic church. Note the lower case “c” in catholic.
