🇪🇸 A crowd of thousands has taken to the streets in Madrid to display the widespread anger over the Ceuta crisis caused by migrants from Morocco and the handling of the situation by Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez.

And in other cities and towns, too, like Valencia and Zaragoza.

Nationwide migrant protests prompt appeals for calm in Ceuta, Spain's North African territory
Demonstrations are due to be held across Spain on Wednesday evening "in solidarity" with Ceuta, the Spanish city in North Africa, which faced an influx of about 72,000 migrants from Morocco in late July.

Nearly five weeks ago, around 72,000 migrants crossed into Ceuta from Morocco, with scores dying in the process. While most have since returned home, around 10,000 remain stranded in makeshift camps or on the streets.

"Stranded." Definition: When you illegally cross into a foreign country and refuse to leave.

"Stranded" in context: Illegal aliens rushed past Ceuta's fences and squatted in the city. They refused to leave. They were stranded by the Ceuta authorities who did not provide them with permission to remain.

Another example: I tried to hold up a Wa-Wa by gunpoint. When I tried to enter the store with my gun drawn, they dropped the security gates, stranding me outside. But I wanted them to give me money and cartons of cigarettes. I was stranded by evil-doers!

Their presence has triggered near-daily protests by locals against the Spanish government's handling of the issue, with demonstrators calling for the migrants to be sent back to their countries of origin or redistributed across Spain.
"The government has failed to act in a critical situation. It's spiralling out of control. We're tired, just like those who came are getting tired, and tensions are rising. There's a point where this will become a powder keg," said a resident called Lola.

The left is being systematically destroyed in the US, when they aren't busy destroying themselves. For the first time since 2025, a polling firm released a poll today showing Republicans are leading on the generic ballot. Because summer is over.

The border is sealed, illegals are being deported in record numbers, crime is way down, Iran is dead, China is being driven out of our hemisphere, antifa is under attack and hasn't tossed a brick all summer. And Canada is whining.

We're in a pretty damn good place today as opposed to 2 years ago.

True, but in this post's context, I'm thinking of when the citizens go beyond Trust the Government to get the job done.

Maybe that will work with Trump, but the left has figured out how effective "Direct Action" is, and they have the crazies in number on their side. I would've liked it 30 years ago but here we are. We're a pretty resilient country, all we needed is leadership that actually fights for us instead of against us and we finally got it.

We also still have a long way to go but we are finally headed in the right direction and more are waking up to it every day.

My last visit was disappointing. I grew up working in orchards as a kid, so, of course, I had to check out the area around Valencia to see the orange groves. Well, they look pathetic and poorly cared for. Also, the number of groves has taken a nose dive due to over regulation on water, fertilizer and insecticides. Growers are focusing on persimmons and kiwi instead of the famous Navelinas of Valencia. It was rather depressing.

(Side note: Valencia Oranges have nothing to do with Valencia. They are hybrid created by a Californian. Spain mostly grows Navelinas...or they used to anyway)
