This goes back the the 90s when the Euroweenies were upset because the US economy was gangbusters and theirs sucked.

Germany, in particular, thought that the problem with US was that we had lots of energy and cheap migrant labor. So they decided
- push Kyoto to hobble us
- Partner with Russia to divide continent with Germany as distribution hub for Russian gas
- Import lots of foreign workers
- have their EU market import lots more migrant consumers
- go all in on Green -- no nukes, no GMO, no BGH, no US food, no fracking, etc. This would keep US out of their market, and make them less dependent on US security in the Gulf for energy. Brilliant.

65 Re: Pizza Hut from earlier threads. Went into the local one cause wife saw ad for buffet and wanted to try out of nostalgia. Some of the worst pizza I have had in quite a while. Just about even or slightly worse than inhouse made school lunch pizza. Not as good as like Jack's frozen pizza. Some time ago Pizza Hut was semi decent mainstream chain pizza, a bit better than frozen. Cant speak to whether the retro ones make the pizza better cause this one wasnt one. No bears though.

First, they have a Premier who is on record saying she doesn't want that, which means she will honor the Canadian Supreme Court, and at least three treaties with "indigenous" tribes. Also, there is something called the Clarity Act that outlines the obligations to claim indedepence. That incluedes "a clear will of the people" (which was worded vaguely on purpose to allow the courts to decide). And, it says, a clear majority vote (also, vague in what that means). Finally, it would require the Canadian Constitution to be revised (which would require approval from all the Provinces that only exist because Alberta and Saskatchewan's payment into the equalization fund).

PS: Trust me. You don't want BC. They are as bad as the Eastern Provinces. Alberta and Saskatchewan are the prizes in this contest.

I'm convinced that Trump did the Lake Ontario to Lake America to screw over Carney. His constituents are so poorly informed (thanks to a State media well beyond even what is in the US)....that they believe there is a way out for Canada where they come out of negotiations in good shape. So Trump upped the ante by winding them up with the Lake name change. Eventually, Carney has no choice but to capitulate, or the Loonie is going to be giving Iran a competition on whose currency can dip the lowest. We're talking Depression...not Recession. The people losing everything and jumping out of buildings type. Then, the free benefits to immigrants stop, which winds up the looting, violence and crime.

All the while, Carney's constituents are oblivious, so when he eventually capitulates, his political career is over.
