Abdulrahman El-Sayed Defends His Support for Surgical Mutilations of Children By Asking Jesse Watters, "Are You Circumcised?"

I missed this horrorshow yesterday.

Woke 1.0 was Socialist Radical Islamism.

Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed got extremely personal with Fox News host Jesse Watters on Monday -- asking if he is circumcised -- during a bizarre defense of sex change surgery for minors.
"Do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcised?" El-Sayed bluntly asked the "Jesse Watters Primetime" host, after arguing that the government shouldn't get involved in transgender medical procedures for children.
Watters was floored by the question.
"Jesse, are you?" El-Sayed pressed.
"Yeah, yeah, but I mean, that's a personal question -- doctor," Watters responded.

El-Sayed, seemingly convinced that he ended the debate with Watters, suggested: "You probably should want to move on."
"Circumcision is different than castration!" Watters fired back.
Undeterred, El-Sayed argued that it's a "problem" that Watters believes the government should step in to outlaw sex change surgeries for minors but not circumcisions.
"I'm just saying that yes, circumcision is surgery on a kid's ding-a-ling," the former public health official told Watters. "So if you really want to bring that up, you can ... I just think you guys are really selective about these things."
Watters described El-Sayed's position as "wacky" and "sick."
"Abdul, Michigan's not going for that. That is sick stuff," he said.
The Fox host followed up by asking El-Sayed if he was in favor of "boys playing in girls' sports," which irritated the Senate hopeful.
"You have not asked me one time about the issues that people actually care about in Michigan," he said.
"You can play this game if you want," El-Sayed fumed. "I just want to understand what you're getting at here."
"I'm getting at whether you think men should play in women's sports ... it's a big issue," Watters asked again.
El-Sayed dodged the question, arguing: "At the end of the day, the decision of who gets to play what sports ought to be decided by the people who govern sports."
He then called it "insane" that Watters would pose him such a question.
"I'm running for US Senate," he said. "Jesse, this is insane."
Earlier in the interview, El-Sayed refused to say how much his proposal to socialize the healthcare system would cost; would not answer a question about the size of the US budget; and declined to explain why he allegedly suggested the "NFL was racist."

Abdulrahman also stuck to his call to abolish ICE. His new hustle, to reassure less radical gay Islamists, is that INS would handle deportations, but obviously he wants to abolish ICE to stop all deportations so no, INS would not be allowed to continue ICE's deportations.

El-Sayed and his advisers thought they'd come up with a great way to answer questions about surgically removing children's private parts: Explain that it's just like circumcision.
Seriously: Fox News host Jesse Watters brought up outlawing sex-change surgery for kids, and El-Sayed replied, "Are you circumcised?"
He then airily advised, "You probably should want to move on," proceeding to declare that anyone refusing to see that both are simply "surgery on a kid's ding-a-ling" is just being "really selective about these things."
Nobody not totally blinded by ideology would equate circumcision, a procedure recommended by most medical professionals because of its health benefits, with removal of male sexual organs -- a procedure utterly lacking any medical justification. (The supposed scientific support for treating juvenile gender dysphoria with transitions was purely an insider con game.)
Yet El-Sayed is so deep in the weird zone that he thinks this is a winning argument: Nobody should trust his judgment on anything.
Of course, the health policy he most wants to talk about is also divorced from reality: His campaign centers on pushing Medicare for All -- a scheme to impose the socialized medicine disasters of Britain and Canada on the United States, which would not only kick everyone off their current insurance but also require roughly doubling US taxation.
A sane party would run screaming from a candidate like this.
Especially, of course, since (as the bizarre take on circumcision suggests) he also brings antisemitism to the table.
El-Sayed's hatred of Jews has been blatant all campaign long, including his comment on the attempted mass murder of Jewish kids in his own state: "Hurt people hurt people" -- rationalizing the Lebanese perp's attempted atrocity by waving at Israeli fighting in Lebanon.
Plus his refusal to disavow his regular campaign surrogate, streamer Hasan Piker -- even after Piker just threatened American Jews that if they support Israel "someone will come around and take action" against them.
El-Sayed only issued a statement saying he disagrees with that comment, and didn't even name Piker.

The Radical Gay Islamist Abdulrahman's dodge is to constantly say, "Why aren't we talking about gas prices?"

Well, Radical Gay Islamist Abdulrahman, the left spent all of Biden's term pushing transgenderism and forcing schools to trans children behind their parents' backs. Why did you focus on this instead of talking about "gas prices" under Biden?

Some folks drive fast, others drive slow. Then there as the assholes that maliciously try to slow down traffic (ran into one a few years ago...would hit his brakes for no good reason on purpose, then speed back up, moving in front of other cars and slowing down again). Braking is fast, accelerating to speed to slow. That ends up causing a wave further behind that ends up as traffic jams.

The generic ballot keeps looking like it's going to be somewhere around D+3.

With the 2020 redraws and the redistricting wars earlier this year, Democrats probably need about a D+5 to win the House.

In 2018, The generic ballot was D+9. The GOP still won a net positive of 2 Senate seats.

Because Senate races drive turnout up to presidential levels in the states that have them and they're far less likely to experience turnout differential effects (not even Obama's team could reverse this in 2010 or 2014, and they were political geniuses, remember?).

This is why worrying about Texas is silly. MI is nominally a swing state, and the DOJ Civil Rights division has already announced poll watchers in key places for election day. Trump won the last statewide federal race, and the Senate GOP candidate barely lost. And now DOJ is looking at things.

Should be interesting. I'm not predicting a Rogers win, but...when major Jewish Michigan donors flip and fundraise for the Republican, something is happening.

RCP does not poll, what they do is average them and that average is affected by outlier polls which is why the Democrats do them. Every single media derived 'fact' is contaminated by purposeful deceit on behalf of Democrats. See Patrick Ruffini's work above.

And no, there is no political science evidence that shows the consistent move to teh GOP by election day that is not the result of contaminated outlier polling.

Has to do with de-trending data which I and some coauthors did on agenda setting project way back. Data errors should be random, not in one direction, if they are in a consistent direction, then the model is 'biased'. You can overcome it and get decent information from bias but that requires taking it into account in the first place.

Well, when all the polls suddenly "tighten" and move right after September, it'll be treated as a normal effect of people paying attention to politics all of a sudden, that if the election had been held in June that things would have been different.

Almost like summer polling is bullshit on its face if you have the assumption that not enough people are paying attention to politics.

My assumption is that no one gauges polling firms for how accurate their summer polls are, and even some of the polling firms (looking at you, Reuters) who tank their final polls year after year get treated with legitimacy. Because the entire industry is run by grifters and activists.

Black turnout should be down (there seems to be an observable pattern that they don't like the DSA direction in election results, like in NYC mayoral results). Rural white Democrats won't turn out for El-Sayed.

And the common refrain over the past few months in polling vs. end results is a massive miscalculation of the white vote.

Essentially, they're massively oversampling white, educated progressives and undersampling white rurals. Happened in WI and MI both.

And if you want to believe the TX polls, you have to believe that Talarico is going to lose whites by about 15 points when the average loss in the demo for Ds in the state recently is about 40.

A good friend and co worker was brought in to create a new university poll. He had previously been polling supervisor for the Roper poll in CT. By 2000, AAPOR already knew that polling was essentially becoming broken--the old Random Digit Dialing now produced out of area code respondents (cell phones), response rates kept dropping as telemarketing, junk, and scam calls escalated, and socially acceptable answers made answers suspect from the people they did manage to reach.

State polling was the first to become very unreliable because it becomes very difficult and expensive to actually oversample minorities and keep non response bias to a minimum. National polls are still a bit more reliable than state polling. But the polling community professionals knew the problem was coming even back during Gore v. Bush.

Just random crap, generously assuming they're modeled on PVI and assumptions about turnout without any actual interviews with voters.

There are a handful of pollsters that do try, but they're labeled "Republican leaning" and dismissed by people even on our side like Trafalgar or Quantus.. But, trying isn't always succeeding, and they also get things wrong.

And yet, in it all, there remains the reality that if you put out bullshit that isn't an actual poll and say "48/48", you'll mostly likely be inside a reasonable margin of error like you had done something right in most contentious races.

That was WAY more important, and WAY closer than it should have been.

I'm sure some of the GOPe/RINOs that still have clout in our state drop in here from time to time. Feel free to remind them just how completely INCOMPETENT, IMBECILIC, & IMPOTENT most of them are to run a state where ALL SEVENTY-SEVEN (77) COUNTIES went for Trump less than 2 years ago and yet all they could manage was a 50% pass rate on 2 state questions while fielding Governor runoff between a Never-Trumper and a mess of a candidate that at times resembles Sleepy Joe despite being 15 years younger.

In short, Oklahoma's GOP officials SUCK, and should resign enmass.
