Giant dog and tiny dog.

Watering otters (the evil kind).

Dog and duck companions.

Frogs give a "seriously?!" look as the other eats a worm each wanted.

Pizza fu.

Birds aren't real.

Birds aren't real and are also scary.

I swear this is sorcery.

Caught fish has driving will to survive.

Mockatrice.

I got you, friend.

Our favorite Cajun restaurant had what they called a Creole platter. Blackened catfish and andouille sausage, slathered with étouffee and served on red beans and rice. Haven't had it in years. Wonder what would happen if I asked.

16 Dogs are wonderful.

Reef update. Changed from Trazadone for anxiety to Fluoxitene(sp?)- which is essentially dog Prozac. He still has a couple weeks before it's supposed to be built up in his system, but so far, it seems like a big change for the better. This dog has always been as tightly wound as a spring, jumping at every noise, even inside. He seems to be actually relaxing and the frantic zoomies and jumping have subsided (he still gets zoomies but he does not frantically do 8 circuits of the apartment.)

He still is spiking a bit outside and 'beats the bushes' by jumping and growling (but no barking now) if he does not see anything. Still checking every direction at once, but a bit less frantically, I think.

So far, better living through chemistry has my endorsement. And he seems a lot more content and happy now.

17 That L-Sam missile is very cool.

I'm feeding my friends' cats for a bit. They gave me a ton of the cat food which is out on the porch with water. This changes pretty much nothing with Snowflake. Her Mom Starry is coming here more and hanging around.

They're both fixed and I took them in during the last cold winter. Ralphy likes to,chase Starry but he's also 105 in dog years...

26 I'm not sure if that's a missile. Other than the general term "missile" which could be used for a thrown rock or ballistic llama, a missile weapon is airborne. If you're airborne there are a lot quicker ways of maneuvering than those little jets. You'd use fins and stuff. Because of the trajectories chosen, Voyager 1 got to Jupiter and Saturn first, then took a slingshot "up" out of the ecliptic (this was to enable a pass by Titan to get the most information possible).

Voyager 2 get going in plane before taking its own slingshot "down" at Neptuen.

One of the courses I worked on has a unit on paleomagnetism, where you can determine relationships between rocks and the magnetic field over geologic time scales. The magnetic poles wander around the planet like drunken Morons.

186 I hate sharks in a completely unfair way. I know they have a job, I know it's their nature, but I just don't want to be eaten.

Stay out of the water. Despite SNL, land sharks are still quite rare.

191 So, this Lindsay Clancy trial. Are we now normalizing the idea that it's so tough to be a woman that killing your kids is OK?

I'm just musing here but the coven of karens who are supporting this broken, depraved, evil, woman, have all had abortions. So, they may just view what this broad did as a late term abortion. Abortion is the all abiding Gospel of the coven of karens.

We'd need to slow down Disco Doof so he'd appear as though he's frozen, only moving bare centimeters a year.
