It's weird how these foreign anchor-babies keep turning out to be so thoroughly anti-American, isn't it?

You'd almost think they were foreign sleeper agents placed inside an enemy country they planned to subvert and harm from within.

Before getting to Thanksgiving: It also turns out that this son-of-a-bitch oversaw a high-kill shelter where animals were kept in appalling conditions before being slaughtered.

Michigan Democrats just nominated Abdul El-Sayed for Senate. He oversaw Detroit's animal shelter where the kill rate hit 74%, whistleblowers called it a slaughterhouse, and the city paid $63,000 to settle a lawsuit over the conditions. Feces backed up into kennels. Rats and cockroaches everywhere.
This is the guy they want representing Michigan. He can't even take care of dogs. And he's supposed to represent you.
Michigan deserves better.

The love of dogs is a Western thing. Many Muslims regard dogs as "unclean" and in fact propose banning dogs from public streets so that Muslims aren't forced to encounter these filthy animals.

47 He isn't wrong that the United States was built on taking land from the indigenous people, that's a historical fact. We did exactly the same thing that the indigenous people did amongst themselves for 10,000 years before the white man showed up.

They conquered and enslaved entire populations from differing tribes long before whitey came on the scene and it was business as normal among them all. The white settlers and government just upped the ante and conducted the same policies on an industrial scale.

Where he is wrong is that you can't go back and right a wrong that occurred 300+ years ago, there is no remedy for people who have long since died. There is not a living soul alive or that was directly affected by any of the policies of the US government during the expansionist period.

BUT the internment of the Japanese was a perfectly understandable response to the actions of many of those of Japanese descent in the United States. Michelle Malkin has a great book about the classified information they were acting on. (In addition to publicly know information)

The thing is they had more advanced cultures in N. America way back in the past. They were building towns of tens of thousands around mounds, etc., similar to Aztec and Maya but on a smaller scale.

If that evolution had continued the natives could have been a lot further ahead here than they were.

Pretty much the central theme of Pope Benedict XVI's "Regensburg Address" (which, IMHO, is a must-read for Western civilization enthusiasts).
