The Morning Report — 8/ 13 /26

ModerateMilgrim.jpg

Good morning kids. So now that the dust is settling after yesterday's Democrat primary results here in Wisconsin that saw the rabid, evil leftist Francesca Hong go down to defeat, first something reeks to high heaven like moldering limburger.

Republicans, however, suspected that the winning tactic was that Democrats in states in which they controlled elections legalized election fraud with mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, and the abandonment of voter ID. In addition, Trump supporters looked at data from the six states in which, for the first time in election history, vote counting stopped for hours, only to resume with Trump’s lead destroyed and Biden suddenly winning. The data look suspicious.

Wisconsin was one of those swing states. Looking at how Francesca Hong lost yesterday, there’s an eerie similarity between her loss and Trump’s in 2020.

Whether she legitimately lost or the powers that be rigged it in favor of her opponent. Let's take a gander at the "winner" Crowley.

David Crowley, the Milwaukee County executive who pulled off a stunning upset over the summer’s socialist surge, has blamed systemic racism for police shootings, opposed legislation to protect law enforcement, and declared Wisconsin the worst place in America to raise a black child.

In August 2020, Crowley went all-in on the Black Lives Matter narrative surrounding the domestic disturbance call that ended with the officer-involved shooting of Jacob Blake. The then-29-year-old, who had a felony warrant out for his arrest, was armed with a knife and was attempting to get into the driver’s seat of an SUV when he was shot seven times, triggering widespread unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and setting the stage for the later acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse. . . Before the so-called “summer of love” in 2020, the Democratic gubernatorial nominee also opposed “Blue Lives Matter“ legislation that would’ve added law enforcement officers to the state’s hate crime protected categories, saying the proposal “only furthers the divide between the urban communities and police that serve them.”

Okay, either the electorate legitimately or the Democrat Party leaders swapped out the candidate who advocated abolishing Thanksgiving and the 4th of July for someone who insists the nation is a racist white-supremacist police state intent on the genocide of colored people of color.

However you slice it, all the Democrats succeeded in doing was changing their name from Hyman to Seymour. In the last analysis is Crowley really any less toxic/palatable to the general public (if that is the Democrats' actual concern) than Hong?

Their quest for the seeming holy grail of being perceived as moderate continues...

The ‘moderate Democrat’ is a campaign myth meant to deceive voters into electing leftists.. . Crowley may be less radical than Hong, but being less radical than a racist, anti-American Marxist doesn’t make you a moderate. On unions, wages, abortion, and immigration, Crowley’s positions are decidedly left-wing. The only real big distinction is he hasn’t said he hates Thanksgiving or called for abolishing the Senate.

But what the press and even regular people are doing is allowing Democrats to redefine “moderate” to mean basically anyone standing even half a step to the right of their most extreme member. Once the standard is set, the entire “moderate” claim becomes merely a campaign myth meant to deceive voters into electing an actual leftist who cosplays as a moderate but will still deliver Democrats’ overall left-wing policy goals.

Moderates would be the Nazis who favored Gas chambers and crematoria over the mass shootings into mass graves by the Einsatzgruppen.

Speaking of a prolonged and festering stench from Wisconsin...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of Bloomberg’s “Balance of Power,” Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) responded to fears that Democrats are moving too far to the left by saying that “Republicans have loved to use democratic socialist over and over, and now they’re calling us Communists.” And “they don’t understand the definitions of what they’re calling us.”
. . . “I think the Republicans have loved to use democratic socialist over and over, and now they’re calling us Communists. Like, they’ve lost any credibility. They clearly haven’t taken a high school or even a junior high civics class recently, because they don’t understand the definitions of what they’re calling us. But what people do know is they’re paying more out of pocket for goods, because of actions of Donald Trump and the Republicans in Congress.”

We understand very well, you degenerate lying scumbag. Your own mentors/precursors in Marx and Engels defined Socialism as merely the precursor to full on Communism. Democrat/socialism is the precancerous stage to full on Stage Four Terminal Cancer. So the question is, are we as a nation and society in that precancerous stage or what the hell is going on?

Beyond Hong and Crowley, Leftists/Democrats at every level have been shrieking their lungs out about packing the Supreme Court, abolishing the Second and every other amendment and the Constitution itself for years now. Hell, the dead and moldering Ruth Bader Meinhoff Ginsberg proclaimed the South African Constitution as superior to our own, despite the fact of supposedly swearing a sacred oath to uphold the latter in her tenure on the Supreme Court.

The Democrat Party has had a lust for absolute power for over 200 years, to the point of seeking the destruction of this nation as founded in order to acquire and hold onto that power forever.

Furious Hasan Piker melts down over Francesca Hong’s loss: ‘Outlaw Thanksgiving and outlaw boomers’

Hey, maybe Piker's a moderate and wants to outlaw boomers via gas chambers and not mass shooting. Meh, whatever his reach is it's his words that are horrifyingly reflective of a not insignificant number of our fellow citizens in name only.

So, to sum it all up, I ask what does all this mean? is the Democrat Party really scared that most of America still is sane and repulsed by the views of more and more of their base? Hong, Crowley, Piker et al are bad enough but the Schemers, Bidens, Pelosis, Clintons and all the rest via the things they have supported over the years have no problem with the former, at least until they train their rhetorical and ultimately literal guns on them for not delivering the keys to the kingdom and the head of America as founded to them on a silver platter.

Have a good day,

What I really can't determine is what frightens me more...that she could actually be elected or that the fraud it just so institutionalized and common now that we'll never, ever be rid of it. Meaning, of course, that The People have zero election integrity and tptb are going to "elect" whomever they want. It's only getting worse with each election cycle.

Presumably this is in Colorado? If so...

Colorado’s Romeo and Juliet law, codified under C.R.S. § 18-3-401.3, provides a close-in-age exemption to statutory rape charges for consensual sexual activity between minors and older partners who fall within specific age gaps. While the general age of consent in Colorado is 17, this law allows for legal leniency to prevent the criminalization of relationships between teenagers close in age.

Unless the girl accuses him of rape, I don't see where this has even a remote legal justification.

We still don’t know who was operating the levers behind the scenes….

85 County Sheriff is the highest elected official, they have enormous power if they choose to exercise it. This has long stuck in the craw of totalitarians. I think ordinarily the idea is to install leftist progressive Sheriffs, but also work to defang the office.

Police departments are a relatively new phenomenon historically. The Sheriff can basically “draft” the citizenry when required, to chase an escaped felon for example. That’s what a posse is about. It’s actually a crime to refuse this. Sort of like jury duty or whatever.

One can sort of predict that a system where enormous amounts of taxpayer money is allocated towards a police department that cannot be effectively used is going to cause people to start asking questions. Although the public school systems, the other half of this compulsory funding operation seems to be chugging along fine, and minting freshly mind laundered agitators at a pretty good clip, so who knows.

Polls are irrelevant now, thanks to technology. Random sampling is next to impossible. It changed rather rapidly and we the voting public haven't adjusted to it. We are so conditioned to decades and decades of semi-reliable polls as a predictor that we still pay attention to them.
Polls are worthless now.

171 I always wondered why the issue of surrogacy has never been forced to deal with the fact that selling humans , even babies, amounts to slavery.

Uneducated guess: It was done with consenting adults and was not really publicly talked about prior to cases like this. I'm not even sure it could be defined as slavery since you have a man and a woman making a child that grows inside a third party with the understanding the baby would go to the parents.

But demanding the child be aborted just because of this is outright evil.

177 The Spanberger quote: "if I am talking to any candidate, or certainly anyone who might be running in Virginia, my priority is going to be that they understand the vital resources that are needed to keep our communities safe, to strengthen our schools, and to ultimately lower costs."

Translations:
Keep our communities safe = double-down on sanctuary laws and harassment and obstruction of ICE officers; abolish ICE ASAP

Strengthen our schools = Go along with every teachers union demand for huge teacher salary raises and hiring more and more teachers and school staffers (especially trans counselors, i.e, groomers), promote trans participation in official school sports, hide trans student ID as trans, medical status, prescriptions, etc, from parents

Ultimately lower costs = Put more and more people, especially illegals, on welfare and on Medicaid (continue to look the other way on fraud with FedGov dollars, tasking state employees to develop harder-to-discover fraud schemes)

178 I think the point is that elections are just theater, meant to showcase the ebb and flow of Democrats internal divisions, and the speed at which the subversion of our country should take place. They are no longer contests in which the people choose their elected representatives, but rather a process to elect the figurehead- who does the bidding of their party. That why they’ve embraced a coalition of horribles that would otherwise be an anathema to the voting public- they have effectively rendered voting inconsequential. We are losing our republic for precisely this reason, and the fact that not one person with courage has stepped in to halt it.

305 'Morning, all. Thanks, J.J. 👏🏻

I think it was just another rope-a-dope played on conservatives.

I have a circuitous 'logic' but here goes: Abdul El-Sayed is from MI. His August 2026 primary victory came in the most expensive U.S. Senate primary ever.

Jim Clyburn had "criticized him over a perceived lack of diversity and Black support at his campaign rallies" but El-Sayed would win by heavily dominating university areas and younger demographic groups, sweeping every major college town in the state.

The 'old' Democratic party, which for the most part is all in with the 'new' socialist aspects, absolutely knew he would carry the state.

>Michigan Advance, High turnout shaped Michigan primary, boosting El-Sayed and Lawrence to victory, Aug. 6, 2026

In part, John Sellek of Harbor Strategic told the Advance on Thursday that the only other time Michigan has, in the last 20 years, seen this level of turnout was when U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) was on the ticket.

“So it’s unique, but it is a sign of real difficulty for Republicans currently taking the blame for high prices, tariffs, the war and more,” Sellek said.

And CNN was on it! 🎆

306 Now, back to Clyburn's "perceived lack of diversity and Black support" and the state of Wisconsin & 'White adjacent' Francesca Hong. She didn't have Black support, ran a provocative campaign, and the old guard Democrats were saved!

NYT, Hong's Defeat Shows the Limits of the Progressive Movement; Forbes, Socialist Francesca Hong Narrowly Loses Wisconsin Gubernatorial Primary After ‘Cancel Thanksgiving’ Controversy; WP, How mainstream Democrats pulled over a big upset against a democratic socialist, etc.

Theater.

🤔 Oh, it was the polls! Mediate, ‘Can We Catch a Break?’ CNN Data Guru Breaks Down Why Polling May Be Overestimating ‘Lefties,’ Aug 12, 2026

In part, "He (Enten) pointed out that both Hong and Michigan Democrat Abdul El-Sayed both won the five counties in their respective states with the highest share of under-40 voters. The polling, he argued, may have “too many” young progressives participating, and giving an exaggerated sense of the candidates’ popularity."

AND who could 'take' that election without question? Perfect!

308 Not the brightest bulb, I struggle to understand some of Ace's posts such as the antitrust law suit Re Paramount Skydance’s $110 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.

Why are 12 state attorneys general, led by California Attorney General Rob Bonta and New York Attorney General Letitia James, leading the effort? Why all 'liberal' states? (California & New York joined by Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington.)

Had to ask AI. The answer, in part, "The involvement of exclusively Democratic ("liberal") state attorneys general boils down to a mix of ideological approaches to antitrust enforcement and a highly contentious political battle over the ownership of CNN."

Republican critics accuse the 12 liberal AGs of abusing antitrust powers purely to preserve CNN's liberal bent.

Liberal AGs argue that allowing two of Hollywood's remaining five major studios to combine will severely harm labor (like the Writers Guild of America, which has filed its own companion lawsuit) and raise subscription prices for the working-class consumer.
