The Geological Service of Colombia confirmed a magnitude 7.4 earthquake rocking the country around 7:34 a.m. local time in the western region of Chocó, potentially causing significant damage. . . In the city of Cali, locals documented buildings with their windows broken and streets covered in glass and other debris.Yikes, 7.4 is pretty damn significant. I have not seen any follow ups so hopefully things are under control and the people are getting on with the business of life as they dig out and begin the process of rebuilding and recovery. Considering the aftershocks of the political earthquake that led to the ejection of Commie strongman Gustavo Petro just a short while ago, it will certainly be a test for the newly elected government to see how fast and effectively it can respond. I'm sure President Trump will be quick to offer whatever assistance we can, as would be right and proper all things considered. One of the truly shining successes of the Trump administration has been his stunning success in turning much of Latin America away from the disaster of socialist rule as can especially be seen in Argentina and El Salvador just to name two countries that are now effectively in the Trump/freedom camp. Unfortunately, the rest of the world is devolving into tyranny. Most notably England, from whence America emerged just 250 short years ago. Here are two horrible stories coming from across the pond that illustrate its rapid disintegration. First, shopping can ruin one's day... One social media user questioned whether carrying a baseball bat from a store should be treated as suspicious, writing, “Assuming this is all innocent. Are people not allowed to play baseball on the fields anymore? We may as well ban anything that potentially can be used as a weapon, which is most things in shops.” Another user argued apparently sincerely that the officer's response was understandable given the circumstances. “To be fair I wouldn't be happy seeing a guy just roaming around with a baseball bat in a densely packed public place, package or no package. copper decided to err on the side of caution and probably asked him to hand the bat over many times before it got to this point.”Yeah, a bloke toting around a packaged and sealed baseball bat is a clear and present danger, but roving bands of Muslim males prowling for girls and women to rape, that's in the deepest traditions of civilization, so how dare you! And if you even raise an eyebrow let alone open your pie-hole . . . Yeah that neanderthal, primitive dangerous thing known as freedom of speech, about that... The National Internet Intelligence Investigations unit notified local police about 106 posts, with 50 of those flagged in June alone, in the aftermath of disclosures surrounding the murder of teenager Henry Nowak. Nowak was stabbed to death by Vikrum Digwa, and his pleas for help were reportedly ignored by officers who doubted the dying student after his killer claimed to be a victim of racism.well one day President Francesca Hong will deliver a Thanksgiving Homily all about how wonderful it is that we did away with it... It was a true period piece. One year before Wisconsin gubernatorial hopeful Francesca Hong called to "Cancel Thanksgiving," the socialist state representative, who is a professional chef, in October 2019 hosted an event she dubbed a "Feast of the Feminine," a "6course [sic] dinner inspired by menstruation." An invitation posted to the events website Eventbrite describes the "feast" as a "celebration of menstruation with conversation and dinner." It also lists a menu featuring on-theme ingredients like "Soondae-Korean blood sausage."Soondae bloody Soondae . . . capped off by a serving of Titty Caca AOC's Huevos Diabolicos! Meh, personally I prefer Carvel's Tom Turkey cake myself. With all these nightmares to ponder, I bid you all to somehow Have a good day,

Since the US is no longer a monoculture, and no longer has a de facto "official language", E9-1-1 services through AI is probably the only way to legally provide mandated services to non English speakers without having to have dozens upon dozens of translators sitting around waiting for a call. It depends on what problem you are trying to solve. Since the politicians look at Heritage Americans as diseased livestock, its a slam dunk guarantee that if the Give & Take on finding a solution to a real or contrived problem involves some Taking, that Taking will always dope towards deprecating the Heritage American's culture, lifestyle and interests. America may have just found a critical minerals mother lode beneath Nevada’s Railroad Valley: An estimated 1.78 million tons of tungsten, alongside enormous lithium, potash, and boron resources. NASA opposes mining on about one-third of the company’s claims. The agency uses the flat Nevada desert to calibrate satellite instruments and says mining would interfere with a unique site used to receive and verify satellite signals. The flattest place on Earth is the Salar de Uyuni, located in Bolivia, which is the largest salt flat in the world, covering an area of approximately 10,582 square kilometers (4,086 square miles). The American Dream has become relocating to safe areas, avoiding the consequences of the civil rights movement and lying through your teeth about what you are doing.
--- Diversity is our strength. But no one wants to live in "vibrant" neighborhoods. Diversity is our strength. But no one chooses neighborhoods because the local school is good at basketball. Diversity is our strength. But no one ever says what gets better the more diverse the area becomes. - Test scores don't go up. - Average wages don't go up. - Housing prices don't go up. - Crime doesn't go down. - Streets don't get repaired more. - Families don't become more stable. Last week a statement was issued "by McConnell's staff" saying he'd be recuperating at an undisclosed location (or home) and would be unable to resume his Senate duties at this time. Or something like that.
It's an obvious ploy to keep the KY governor from appointing anyone to replace him, or have KY go through the motions to do it. The GOP just has to keep the ruse going until January... when McConnell would have retired. IOW... he's dead or a vegetable. Or both. It also deprives the GOP of a vote on other things. Not that it'd have made any difference one way or the other. But it's typical of the GOP. Unlike the Democrats who have someone stand in for Mad Maxine Waters who's not been heard from for about the same amount of time... yet is voting according to leftism's doctrine. In the late 60s thru the mid-70s LAX used eminent domain to force all the homeowners out. They got on average $70K… IOW they got screwed. I have no idea what "Twitch" is, and until so-called conservatives were talking the dude up as some person that is influential and powerful, had no knowledge of Piker. So the deeply concerned conservatives have elevated his status dramatically. Almost all podcasters are now driven by algorithms, this blob of "influencers" all gang pile a topic in a concentrated way that appears no different than if it was orchestrated by some cabal behind the curtain as we have been blaming corporate media for decades. Agree. He's a good law explainer but he is also close friends with Andy McCarthy so his allegiances are somewhat questionable. Particularly when we've know all this about Brennan, Comey and Clapper for years. Posted by: LinusVanPelt Well, digital radio tuning is a perfect example, it has clear cut points 101.1, 101.2, etc. and you either have a sufficient signal or you get dead air. IRRL, the old analog tuners could tune between the gaps to pick up scratchy stations that a digital tuner rejects because an analog tuner discards no information. Same as an analog picture on Kodachrome film has all the colors as they are (albeit the nice glow from the film) while a digitalized version has to silo each color by a specific specification. Most digital algorithms due to computing resources drop a lot of information--aka lossy compression that allows us to watch streaming on tv without overwhelming the bandwidth. You can even still record a 'lossless' version of a song on digital but yet still miss sound information present on an analog record because of sampling to create the digital version. Posted by: Piper at August 11, 2026 08:38 AM (2UJ+q) According to AI... No, there is no confirmed case where a Catholic politician has been formally excommunicated specifically for supporting abortion legislation. While Canon 1398 mandates automatic excommunication (latae sententiae) for those who directly "procure" a completed abortion, canon lawyers and church officials consistently clarify that this penalty applies to direct participants (such as doctors or patients) rather than legislators who vote for laws permitting the procedure. Posted by: JackStraw I've given up most predictions nowadays because we are not in normal times anymore--sort of like a prof of mine who spent his entire career until his late sixties analyzing who was up and who was down in the Soviet system. Then all hell broke loose when the wall fell and he told me that prior to that, Soviet research was all very nice and cozy--then came a totally new paradigm that was simply beyond the old scholar's understanding. I think we are there in politics and world affairs--the old cozy globalizing world order is dying and domestic politics has deteriorated to the point that the old understandings are being swept away. Letting Comey and co get away with it is will cause consequences, so will not letting them get away with it. Exactly what either situation unleashes, I don't think anyone really knows. Same for the vaxx information and Fauci, same for the other rottenness in the American and world system created by a host of talentless political hacks that deemed themselves as demigods like Prometheus. Hopping from bit parts from tv shows to a small part in a movie. Seems to be still that way in UK. Due to its geographic compactness, you can be in a short TV series, hop into a stage play in London on the break, and then appear in a movie. Same network effect existed for the British invasion bands--they all knew of each other if not friendz and shared a pub, dancehall, etc. touring, recording, and being able to sleep in their own bed from somewhere like London. Hollyweird imploded the whole Hollywood ecosystem with the backlots being sold for housing, and filming on location. Now it is spread across the US at various nodes and a number of the TV shows shoot in Canada due to cheaper costs. ✅ Believes America deserved 9/11, aka that 2977 innocent people deserved to be murdered ✅ Advises his followers to murder capitalists and watch their blood run in the streets “Kill those motherfuckers” ✅ Told Black voters to “suck his fucking cock” ✅ Said “We want more immigrants to come into your countries and then they’re gonna fuck your sisters and then your daughters.” “We’re here to destroy the White Race, Bitch.” ✅ Thinks Mao, who killed 50 million+, is the greatest leader of all time ✅ Wants communism, which killed 100 million people+, to replace the free market ✅ Regularly praises terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah - both have murdered hundreds of Americans ✅ Says the Hezbollah flag is his favorite ✅Thinks Jews should “go back to Auschitz” ✅ Openly says he has no love for America and hates the country while praising China ✅ Abuses dogs ✅ Etc. To that end, the entire Deep State apparatus that has festered in the West along with the power they seized from elected officials to fight the Cold War got perverted into a nasty self sustaining divine right of bureaucrats and ngos to rule.
Like the divine rule of kings, the period is not likely to last long but will cause a lot of tumult when it gets tossed on the ash heap of history. I am afraid it will take a Franco or a Cromwell to restore the West and history will damn them for what they do. Two main things are driving the lingering "global warming" crap besides media coverage:
1) The heat island effect. That suburban neighborhood with trees and forests scattered around in felt cooler in the summer 40 years ago now then it does as high rises, strip malls, and concrete EVERYWHERE. 2) Northerners moving to the south. I see this one a lot personally - people that I know that grew up in the North/North east that move to AZ or FL and then say the summers are way, way hotter then they remember as kids. Well...duh. Teen Brawl Erupts at NYC McDonald's, Prompting Security Crackdown
The footage shows organized juveniles clashing inside a New York City McDonald's, part of a pattern of 'teen takeovers' advertised on social media at fast-food spots and malls. Affected locations in Brooklyn, Queens, and beyond now ban unaccompanied teens under 20 and hire private security to restore order. Online reactions call for tougher enforcement and accountability, while some link the disruptions to policy debates over policing and prisons, leaving residents worried about safety in public spaces. What out betters are reading:
1873: The Rothschilds, the First Great Depression, and the Making of the Modern World With excessive euphoria leading to disappointed expectations, in the early 1870s the bubble burst. Stock markets from Vienna to New York crashed, and dozens of railroads and many governments defaulted. Financial officials responded by blundering into a precipitous remaking of the global currency system—exacerbating the ensuing economic collapse and setting the stage for decades of a punitive deflation that sparked waves of anti-globalist populism. As Liaquat Ahamed shows us in this enthralling history, the crisis of 1873 was, among other things, a death blow to Reconstruction in the United States and the proximate cause of the Ottoman Empire’s slow death spiral. Ironically, though the Rothschilds had presciently kept a low profile during the bubble, when the deluge came, they were viciously scapegoated as part of a wider hatred directed at “Jewish finance,” a strain of antisemitism that would come to full evil flower during the twentieth century. Just heard a song from (checks dates) 1999 ("The Kids Aren't Alright" by the Offspring).
Matching it up with 2026...holy shit, dudes, you had no idea how much worse it would get. Pray for the future. Posted by: Brother Tim (102mm/W59), Keeper of the Tim Continuum at August 11, 2026 09:36 AM (OUMaO) 397

Good Morning, all, and thanks, J.J.
From above, 'Ocasio-Cortez says she’s freezing her eggs as she decides her next political moves' Yup. Sandy Ocasio posted on social media she had to pay $8,000 completely out of pocket for an egg-freezing procedure - despite benefiting from top-tier "government" insurance as a congresswoman. She, as are other members of Congress, is legally required to purchase health insurance through the DC Health Link SHOP marketplace. She/They can choose from dozens of Gold-level private health insurance plans with the federal government covering roughly 72% of their premium costs. But since it's an employer-subsidized marketplace plan - and such self-insured plans are regulated by federal law under ERISA, i.e., exempt from states' IVF requirements - her specific congressional plan "did not cover one penny" of the fertility preservation process. Further - and though not her current, specific issue with IVF coverage - traditional Original Medicare explicitly excludes coverage for in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. (Standard Medicare and traditional Medicaid do not pay for IVF cycles, egg retrievals, or embryo storage.)
The Trump administration has an initiative on IVF: Fact Sheet: President Donald J. Trump Announces Actions to Lower Costs and Expand Access to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and High-Quality Fertility Care, The White House October 16, 2025 US Department of Labor - News Release, May 10, 2026 Trump Administration proposes rule to expand access to fertility benefits with new legal pathway for employers to offer benefits directly to employees. (Comments due 60 days from its publication in the Federal Register.) CNN, May 21, 2026, Trump promised no-cost IVF treatment for all. That’s still a long way off Therefore, it seems that as the queen of half truths, she's using her alleged experience to steal the administration's thunder and campaign for expanded federal fertility mandates/Medicare for All. All-in-all, it's well thought out PR & a public attack if it steals the administration's thunder. Can't wait to see who pays & how. All, imo. --- Good day. 🤗 Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at August 11, 2026 10:07 AM (NFX2v) Processing 0.05, elapsed 0.0561 seconds. |
