Abdul El-Sayed, the newly minted Democratic nominee for Senate in Michigan, repeatedly promoted to his podcast listeners a notorious book that encourages violent rioting and claims the U.S. government "kills untold millions," the Washington Free Beacon can reveal.
El-Sayed made the plug for the book, Let This Radicalize You, at least 10 times on his podcast, America Dissected.

In chapter six: "'Violence' in Social Movements," the authors dismiss peaceful protests as submissive to the state and argue that violent protesters should not necessarily be considered "bad."
"Fetishizing distinctions between violence and nonviolence can lead to the indulgence of rhetoric about 'good' and 'bad' protesters, where 'peaceful' protesters are celebrated and 'violent' protesters--for example, those who engage in property destruction that disrupts profit--are viewed as disposable and disreputable," the pair writes.
"And when they refer to 'peaceful protest,' they are talking about cooperative protest that obediently stays within the lines drawn by the state."
"This licenses people to care about the cause being protested without caring about what happens to the 'bad' protesters. For example, even as significant numbers of people supported the uprisings following the racist murder of George Floyd, many fewer people vocally defended the rights of protesters who were arrested for acts of property destruction and funneled into the racist carceral system," they added.

Meanwhile, this radical terrorist refuses to break with Hasan Piker, who himself has called for the assassination of Senator Rick Scott and called for "capitalists" to have their throats slit until the streets "run red with blood."

Riots are not lawful protest, involving property destruction, looting, arson, murder, rape, etc. I don't care what your purported grievance is. Once you cross over the line into that stuff, you need to get ventilated. Looters shoot to wound. Arsonists shoot to kill.

Even Democrats used to understand this. Riots cause profound economic damage. There's still boarded up shit from 1968 in my old hometown. For some period of time I decided whenever I got a farcebook reel directly calling for violence I'd report it since their rules say that is a no-no. I read lefty forums/sites so I get plenty of their videos.

Note, not "this guy should be impeached/arrested/blah" just people directly calling for assassinations of specific pols/celebrities.

I used to work in Michigan politics, and it's interesting to know people when they are starting out and see how they change.

Now that I'm retired, I can relate that when I was mobilized I was assigned as a liaison to Whitmer's office, sitting in on their Teams calls. What a vapid, vain person she is. Thought the whole thing was awesome, drunk with power, obsessed with being on Colbert, etc. I wanted to drive my skull through the screen. They totally forget there was a military presence, so they let their freak flags fly.

After a couple of weeks I begged to be reassigned and happily the ANG web master was deploying so I got that slot. What a piece of work.
