Ice Tigers Cafe

lostinepal.jpg
Nepal
@AshrafulArefin_

Have a drink on me, kitty.

Border collie puppy tries to herd a cat, who's not having it.

Cat has trained his human well.

And this one too.

Cats are eerie.

Dog waits for his favorite toy to be repaired.

Dogs love the slop. Who can say why.

When a dog decides it's not time to go yet.

The old cat accepts the foster kitten.

Tiger on ice.

This dog is an absolute Stair Savage.

He sounds like a monster from Quake.

What a backfire:

Usual reminders for little ones is an awesome idea. However, she is 15, she knows what a clean room looks like. BREAKING: An armed suspect identified as Jeanine John Taele, 38, was arrested at Trump National Golf Course after allegedly monitoring security preparations ahead of President Trump’s visit, authorities said.

Police said they later recovered an illegally-modified AR-style rifle, body armor, high-capacity magazines, ammunition and notebooks containing “concerning statements” from his home.

She is not allowed to have anything but water up there, either. She has more clothes than she needs, clearly, so doing laundry can stretch out for a loooonnnggg time. We packed a huge box of books to donate, I threw out a ton of stuffed animals, kept a few special ones, threw out 8 billion markers and colored pencils. She still has a ton, even after the purge. She has her own attached bathroom - lots of 1/2 empty lotion and potion bottles strewn across everywhere. Gone. She was suddenly inspired to organize her make up drawer before that disappeared off the counter and is now folding laundry. Her big sisters warned her - if you see mama coming with black trash bags, she is not playing. She is absolutely going to throw that stuff out. 🤣

Is it just my imagination, or is the Democratic Party putting forward more absolute loons at one time, at all levels of government, than ever before during this election cycle? In the interest of truth in labeling, I believe the donks should be compelled to accept the following coat of arms, which I have taken the liberty of describing using heraldic language:

Two butterfly nets in saltire, surmounted by a savage statant affronté in a straitjacket, on the dexter a cuckoo bird close guardant, on the sinister a dodo bird close guardant.

The "savage" in heraldry, incidentally, is typically depicted as a naked, bearded human figure, covered in hair or leaves. Perfect.

They took full control, purged the population they blamed, and turned the richest colony in the Caribbean into the poorest and most dysfunctional country in the Western Hemisphere.

103 After their slave revolt, Haiti’s founder ordered the killing of all white people on the island. Soldiers went house to house killing thousands including women and children.

They took full control, purged the population they blamed, and turned the richest colony in the Caribbean into the poorest and most dysfunctional country in the Western Hemisphere.

Today, their descendants demand entry into the West they fought to escape, refuse to return to the mess they and their ancestors created, and are for some reason strongly convinced that borders are racist.

actually those facts are well known. The ones that aren't listed here are the Leclerc expedition that sought to re-enslave Haiti after the French Republic declared them free, and the genocidal acts by the Leclerc expedition carried out, including murdering every native troop the French had under their control as the first act of depopulating the island prior to importing new slaves.
This explanation does not include the harsh forced repayment for each "slave freed" when the Leclerc expedition fled from the island, and it does not discuss the severe damage forced currency conversions from US banks to repay loans foisted on Haiti's economy.

I've known some Haitians, and upper class ones, not the sorts that live in Cite Soleil - a friend of mine had contact there and hated it. Haiti is a terrible place, and it is not that way due to some inherent fault of the Haitians. They had lots of help in degradation

Clay Travis, the conservative media personality and founder of OutKick, has officially offered $10 million for a head-to-head "battle of the sexes" basketball game between the reigning WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces and a boys' high school state championship team of his choice.

Travis announced on Monday, August 3rd, that he is putting up $10 million. If the Las Vegas Aces win, they receive the money (which equates to nearly a third of their estimated $33 million annual revenue). If the high school boys win, the $10 million will be distributed among their team members.

The proposed matchup would be broadcast on pay-per-view. Travis states that all profits generated from the broadcast would be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to support families of fallen soldiers and first responders.

Travis stated that the challenge is intended to highlight physical differences in sports.

A) probably the usual Don't Panic the Public, and B) a lot of water systems have incompetent management where the hiring was done politically rather than capability and C) idiots think everything should be connected to the web and equipment providers obliged.

There are ways to set up private networks for monitoring but you must have the system air gapped so you cannot access the internet with the private network and its vital machines at all.

We did this for a long time until suddenly everything had to be connected to the net so that it could accessed by everyone across the globe.

Because it is cheaper and easier to do that than the harder way of protecting those machines.

In my little town in blue RI, I have to show my license or other photo ID. The woman who checks me in and gives me my paper ballot lives across the street.

The only reason not to do things this way is to cheat.

The fact that the cheap ass crap electronics for the internet of things comes from Chicoms prescrewed as far as security. Most are linux derived OS of some sort with default passwords often blank ones or 123456 and user accounts defaulting as admin with all privileges.

No security setup, no hardening, just put on the internet and show up on the network for manipulation intentional or by hackers. To hard for the people running them to change passwords and limit user accounts, let alone hardening them.

With AI agents, this sort of hacking becomes a trivial Q/A with an AI chatbot and likely it can find all it needs of the sloppy IT managers of credentials, passwords in the clear, and user accounts, along with open ports to enter the systems.
