Our 10mo old baby girl and siblings have a Golden, who grew up with toddler brother and baby older sister.
Penny (the dog) is patient and kind as baby grabs fist fulls of her fur with both hands, laughing. I then have to wash her hands before the fists of fur go into her mouth. Goldens are the sweetest of doggies and I am very biased after knowing 3 of them. Always smiling and wanting to please. I now want a baby lamb. And I dream of riding a horse on a beach...that horse must know the route. I figured he'd bolt at the tunnel, but nope! Posted by: ChristyBlinkyTheGreat at July 29, 2026 07:30 PM (hzuYO) 11

Cleo the Bengal kitty has been in my house for almost two weeks now.
I'm still surprised at how remarkably smooth her integration into my house has been so far. Kaylee's chased her under the couch a couple of times, but so far Kaylee has been behaving today. I'll probably put Chloe in the library by herself when I go to bed just so I'm not awoken by caterwauling when two strange cats encounter each other in a dark hallway. Village of Tissington in the Peak District
Tissington is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Tissington and Lea Hall, in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England. In 2001 the parish had a population of 158. The population "Tissington and Lea Hall" at the 2011 census was 159. It is part of the estate of Tissington Hall, owned by the FitzHerbert family since 1465. In 1125, William Fitz-Herbert was granted the tenancy of Norbury Manor in Norbury, Derbyshire. Nicholas FitzHerbert and his son Ralph purchased it from the priory in 1444. The senior male line of the family held the manor until selling it in 1881. The original charter from King Henry III of England in 1125 has survived. Evening.
Can I bitch and moan? I need to bitch and moan. I'm hauling this trailer around and the other day one of the airbags under the trailer (they're part of the suspension) blew. Fuck. After some bullshit, eventually got fixed *after* getting a load. Great. Fantastic. Rolling along the next day and BANG! Two airbags in the OTHER side blow. Fuck. Pull into a Love's. They try but can't fix it. Load's too heavy, they don't have jacks good enough to lift the trailer. Problem is the trailer is nearly riding on the tires. Good news! There's a place down the road that can help. Bad news, have to wait until morning. I'm sick of this fucking trailer. It's one problem after the next. The load delivers Friday afternoon in San Antonio and I would like to be home by the weekend. Fuck my life. Posted by: Robert at July 29, 2026 08:15 PM (Yv+XZ) 62
