The Morning Report — 7/ 29 /26

MengeleFauci.jpg

Good morning kids. Lots of news to unpack this morning, especially the thoroughly unsurprising yet utterly disgusting revelations about Anthony Fauci courtesy of his little red book, that is his diary. It is not hyperbole to state that he has the blood of tens if not hundreds of thousands of people on his hands because of his direct actions in creating the COVID-19 virus for the Red Chinese and then unleashing it on the world in a lab that was in whole or in part funded by our taxpayer dollars. This horrid bastard will for sure be roasting in Hell one day, but likely will be untouched by our justice system, such as it is.

As it turns out, Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) is good for something after all.

Just to recap, Paul obtained and released more than 1,100 pages of the private diaries Fauci kept between 2019 and 2022 as part of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee’s investigation into the federal government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic. You've probably seen by now that they contained a lot of Fauci fawning over himself and tracking his own celebrity, awards, and media coverage, as well as him saying some not so nice things about his critics.. . Then-Sen. Rubio was quite critical of many of Fauci's statements back then, particularly saying that there was no need for people to go around wearing masks. He also accused Fauci of distorting the percentage of the population that would require vaccinations to reach herd immunity.  Fauci's response? He said he was being a "real a*****e."

Speaking of Marco Rubio, Democrat election thievery as well as Democrat-fomented assassination attempts and political terrrorism notwithstanding, I think Marco Rubio stands a pretty good chance at becoming POTUS if not in this go round then perhaps 2032 or afterwards. His tenure as Secretary of State has been outstanding, the situation in Iran notwithstanding, although that situation really is on President Trump, and it is his to resolve despite the fact that he's dealing with dark age savages intent on unleashing armageddon on the world as the precursor to total Islamic conquest of the planet,

But as for Rubio, under the aegis of Trump, he is on the cutting edge of helping transform the perpetually socialist Latin America into free-market America friendly nations. And as CBD and I discussed on the latest episode of the podcast (linked here and in the sidebar)

Cuba might at long last be on the verge of if not at the very least have a shot at liberating itself as the tropical paradise caribbean gulag that it has been condemned to suffer for 67 years. It seems that Rubio and Trump are making the moves to see that come to fruition.

The truth is it's a complicated process. This isn't Venezuela. We likely won't have a clean and tidy(-ish) ending to the regime. You can't just take out one guy, neutralize his cronies, cut off their revenue stream, and start over with Marco Rubio in charge. The Cuban regime is older, more decentralized, and designed to withstand such moves. The power lies within the Communist Party, the military’s economic empire (GAESA), and a deep security apparatus.

There's also the media problem. The number of MSM fake news stories from anonymous sources about Cuba is exhausting, and it drives me insane how many prominent people report on them or share them as if they are fact.  For example, for a while, there was this idea that the Trump administration's goal for liberating Cuba was the end of this year. It was fun to buy into, and I didn't find it all that outlandish pre-Iran, but Rubio put a stop to that kind of talk last week when speaking to the press.

Well, as the President himself is wont to say, we'll just have to wait and see. Look how far we've come from "Little Marco" to perhaps being his most trusted and effective ally.

As for Iran, this just underscores who and what we're dealing with.

Both men were convicted on charges stemming from clashes that Iranian authorities say resulted in the deaths of four security officers. Human rights groups say the men were sentenced after proceedings marred by allegations of torture, forced confessions, and closed-door trials.

The executions stem from the nationwide uprising that began in late December after a currency collapse, soaring inflation, and worsening living conditions sparked protests across Iran. Iranian regime forces responded with a sweeping crackdown that included internet shutdowns, mass arrests, and the widespread use of lethal force. . . Videos shared by Iran International showed residents gathering overnight in hopes of stopping the executions before authorities dispersed the crowd.

We've long hoped and prayed that something might ignite the spark that at long last lets the Iranian people take to the streets and directly take on the regime, or gives those within the security services the ability to turn on their overlords and join the people.

At this point, it's a pipe dream but that's what the Ceaucescus thought as they were hoisted up on a lamp post not all that long ago.

And who knew that Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were Mullahs (here they whip the women round about midnight)...

¡Cuba Libre, Iran Libre!

And most importantly AMERICA LIBRE!!!!!!

You’d think socialism’s 100-plus-year record of failure would be enough to dissuade people from embracing tenets that led to the horrors of Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, etc. But hope springs eternal, apparently.

(And, just for the record, despite what Bernie Sanders says, the Nordic countries are not socialist. Denmark, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway come in seventh, eighth, 10th, and 11th, respectively, in the Heritage Foundation’s Index of Economic Freedom. Switzerland comes in second place. The U.S. ranks 22nd.)

What’s even more unfathomable is why Democrats have such a positive view of the DSA when they reject many of its central positions.

16 Morning, all.

I expect absolutely nothing from today's episode of DC Bukkake Theatre. Fauci won't so much as get his hair mussed. I guarantee one or most of these responses from him:

1. I don't remember.
2. I plead the Fifth (or not; I'm told he can't).
3. That's your interpretation.
4. I did the best I could with the knowledge at the time.
5. The diaries are fake.
6. I'm being quoted out of context.
7. The Sideshow Bob defense (you NEED me, America).
8. America couldn't handle the truth!

19 Mamdami's grocery store plan is beyond stupid and doomed to fail. I live in the South Bronx, so I know.

The plan is to put one large store in each borough. In The Bronx, it'll be over in Hunts Point which is four miles from me. The stores will have limited offerings, and only promise deep discounts on a few items.

Now here's the thing: Most South Bronx residents don't have cars. That's why they use bodegas.

They're not going to schlepp without a car to save a dollar on a gallon of milk. You could make the milk free and they still wouldn't go. That's why they use bodegas.

Only Bubble Boy Shitheads like Mamdami could not understand this.

Promises not to be your usual boring Congressional hearing, with Revelations galore.

Because Fauci's been pardoned, he must answer. Or will he try to plead the Fifth with claims that he still has state law exposure?

Will the Ds on the panel fillibuster in support of Fauci, or realize he's Toxic?

Fauci's crimes affected all Americans, often badly and tragically. Will Media try to ignore the revelations?

30 Well, China is now officially in the game with backing and supplying the IRGC with weapons, cash and supplies. Probably happening for a while now but it's out in the open and they aren't hiding it. That's probably not a good sign.

Trump, again, caved on escalation of bombing power plants and such....then did the cease fire thing again, allowing China unfettered access to flood Iran with material for war. Now Iran has the means to continually strike Gulf states and that includes our bases. We also haven't figured out drone defense to a large degree. And Trump is begging for a deal and an off ramp. Not gonna happen, in for a penny in for a pound. Let's hope he doesn't fall for the ground troops trick.

Reordering global energy markets? Good.
Screwing with China and setting them back in that regard? Good
Gulf States turning on Iran? Good.
Everything else? Catostrophic.

At least Lindsey Graham got his war before he passed.

that's one thing i've wondered, how do they intend to make sure only the needy get the groceries?

I mean, what's to stop an evil capitalist from going to that store and buying what they need then reselling it at the bodega with their markup? or to stop the stripping of the shelves by people buying it all up to hoard?

or my favorite, the "rich" people in town using the store as well for it's discounts.

33 The survey underscores broad public backing for election integrity measures. These findings make congressional Democrat obstruction of the SAVE America Act in Congress even less tenable, considering that a clear majority of the party’s supporters back election integrity measures, including voter ID.

Name one Democrat who'll lose their position due to their opposition to SAVE. I can't say that any of the Republican incumbents who've lost their offices are due, specifically, to that but Cornyn could have saved himself if only his comrades had preferred to keep him in the Senate over continuing to permit election fraud.

They get to learn about establishing a supply chain, handling multiple vendors, distribution centers, union rules, staffing, shoplifting, rotation of product, regulation and health code compliance, building maintenance, covering utility, insurance and taxes from cash flow.

Essentially they will hire according to DEI totem pole, will have deadbeats and entitled bureaucrats in shop aprons and we see a repeat of the empty shelves, rats and filth that accompany every other attempt of command and control economies.

His ends justified his means, his hubris overshadowed truth. It is more scary to me that he was unable to see how awful he was over someone who knew what they were doing was wrong but did it anyway. He should be hung from the gallows, but we have a legal system, not a justice system. We can at least hang on to the fact his whole motivation was being seen as a savior, and that has been completely ripped away from him. He will be remembered as a small, tiny, ugly man whose legacy is evil, not the canonized version he imagined himself to be in history books.

I admire your charitable take on this. I am somewhat more cynical. Fauci had direct financial interests in making the decisions he did, and those interests were in direct conflict with the public good. In those cases, he sided with his own financial and celebrity interests. That was a conscious and deliberate choice, and he knew what he was doing.

I as general proposition, I like JD a lot. He might make a good Prezzy.

But, he's certainly making some odd decisions like palling around with Ol' Tucky Tuckerson.

I'm beginning to think that he's finally figured out that whoever follows Trump in office will have to have the same will of iron to get things done, because enemies are all-around and will feel freer to act once Trump no longer has the Presidency.

It will be a tough 8 years and he has young kids. That may be the deciding factor because it's unlikely he'll get to spend a lot of time with them.

And, a 'kinder, gentler Trump" won't fly in those circumstances.

But, eh, we'll see.

He did make many conscious decisions, but he never thought those decisions were wrong, or unethical. The man solicited prizes and awards, but never once did he think that might be sketchy. There was no end to the Communist regime in Venezuela, clean & tidy, or otherwise.

It's statements like those that make me wonder about ConInc media. Do they think their readers are so retarded they'll just believe anything and say "yep, there was regime change in VZ?" Or are they the retarded ones, because they're the right wing version of Ben Rhodes' vaunted echo chamber, and believe whatever *they're* being told to say? Is it both?

What? Haven't heard you talk about them yet.

Europe didn't seem to care.

In fact: European powers tried to create a special payment system called INSTEX in 2019 to bypass U.S. sanctions and keep trade alive with Iran

in 2015 with the JCPOA, the EU sprinted to work deals with Iran. In 2018, Trump threatened EU to stop or that the EU would lose access to the US's financial system.

So Europe never had any fear of Iran lobbing nukes in their direction. EU's only fear was pissing off Trump. Once Trump leaves office, the EU is going right back in to Iran to do business as usual.

Then they go to Cuba for final brainwashing finishing school for Socialism. See: Hassan Piker.

I take some small solace in the likelihood that everything had always been this dumb. A lot of us have just reached the point where we’ve pulled back the curtain and seen the actual wizard at the controls of the machine; and we say “you’re kidding, that’s all it is?”

234 26 "Mister MD" Rand Paul v "Tony Mengele" Fauci in a steel cage death match!

I expect the Democrats' game today will be to ask Fauci leading questions about the health care policies and actions to-date of RFK Jr and Trump. To get soundbite video clips of St. Fauci slamming both men. Because the idiots watching CNNABCNBCCBSMSNOW will continue to mindlessly believe everything their saint says. Gotta keep the base energized. And donating.

I'm thrilled we no longer have a president who gives a wet fart what European leaders think. That hasn't worked out for us very well for the last, well, ever.

If Europe was attacked we were going to war. NATO membership assures that. If Trump is successful in the Middle East, and things are happening like Saudi Arabia joining the US in attacks on Iran last night for the first time, we won't have to worry about the region as much as we did prior to Trump.

Wife points out that he was only pardoned at the federal level and COULD be prosecuted by any state with the balls to do it provided that any of their citizens were adversely affected.
