The Morning Report — 7/ 23 /26

Maosketeers.jpg

Good morning kids. Say what you will about President Trump, and it is my opinion that he will be remembered in the fullness of time as among our greatest of President's primarily for reestablishing sane American foreign policy that both ensures our own national security but ultimately results in the true liberation of the oppressed masses suffering under the yoke of tyrannical communism/socalism especially here in our own hemisphere. As CBD and I discussed on the latest episode of the podcast linked here and in the sidebar as well as available on the popular platforms listed at the bottom of this post, led by for once by an intelligent, driven and unabashedly pro-American Secretary of State in the person of Marco Rubio, Latin America which for far too long had been relegated to basket case status is undergoing a reverse domino effect wherein socialist hellhole nations have rid themselves of socialism and are embracing liberty and freedom. Most notably Nayib Bukele in EL Salvador as well as Javier Milei in Argentina. Although Hugo Chavez and the Maduro-ista cancer has been excised from Venezuela the situation there is still in flux. But that said, I think America and Americanism are on the march here in our hemisphere for sure. And that said, there are rumblings in the air that the long imprisned Caribbean Island gulag of CUBA might before long breathe free for the first time in over 66 years. About the only people who would not be celebrating would be our fellow citizens in name only — the cadres and leadership of the Democrat/Left.

The secretary noted that the end goal would be to uproot the communists and have "Cuba where the people of Cuba can experience prosperity, safety, security and a better life moving forward." “We’re prepared to be realistic about how you do that and patient about the serious process that leads to that. We’ve engaged them from time to time in that regard and know where we stand on that issue. Hopefully that’s where it arrives.

That would be marvelous but how can we uproot the communists right here at home and ensure that America and the American experiment can survive and thrive for another 250 years. Despite the rise of the so-called Democratic Socialists who are neither of those things although Socialism is the cancer from which untold millions can will and have perished. It must be utterly smashed if we are to continue, and there seem to be positive signs. We reported on a recent poll indicating a broad swathe of the nation are genuinely terrified and revolted by the prospect of Communism,

Four in ten Americans view communists in the United States as posing a major or moderate threat, a recent weekly survey from the Economist/YouGov found. The survey asked respondents, “How much of a threat, if any, do Communists in the United States pose today?” Across the board, 43 percent considered communists in the U.S. as at least a moderate threat. More specifically, 18 percent consider it a “major” threat, and 25 percent consider it a “moderate” threat. Another 23 percent consider it a “minor” threat, and 33 percent said communists in the U.S. pose no threat at all.

And yet, this shit:

There’s little question that the Democratic Socialists of America are more influential than any time in recent history. Indeed, it’s perhaps the most influential arm of the Democratic Party today, wielding policy clout and winning local elections. But are DSA policies really so popular? July’s I&I/TIPP Poll asked voters to find out.

The DSA’s recent “Workers Deserve More!” document outlined its main policy goals. For I&I/TIPP’s July Poll, taken by 1,473 Americans from June 29 through July 2, voters were asked whether they agreed or disagreed with five separate DSA proposals. The poll has a margin of error of +/-2.8 percentage points.

First, I&I/TIPP asked about DSA’s proposal for the “abolition of jails and prisons.”

Only 26% agreed either strongly (10%) or somewhat (16%) with this plan, while 62% disagreed strongly (47%) or somewhat (15%).

The other questions/DSA policy aims are equally revolting as I'm sure you can imagine.

I guess most people who are reportedly terrified of communism are unaware that its precursor is socialism. At some point you just throw up your arms at this mess.

We'll see if the two term presidency of Marco Rubio can deal with this. I look forward to that, Democrat election thievery notwithstanding.

Have a good day,

It wasn't a coincidence, Cuba has been recruiting and training US activists for years and infiltrating our schools and institutions.

It is no accident communism is on the rise in the US and countries around the world. It was a plan and it was centered in Cuba.

70 Iran's vast, underground missile and drone manufacturing and storage facilities are going to continue to be a problem. There are a lot of them. Scattered all over the country. It's quite impressive.

Some reports, a couple years ago, suggested Iran had at its disposal 10's of thousands of drones and thousands of ballistic missiles in storage. With more being assembled weekly.

I'd imagine the materials for those, if not domestically available, are running very low. But the stockpile apparently is robust enough to continue hitting local targets in the Gulf area. Longer range stuff, able to hit Israel or further, is apparently nearly depleted.

TL ; DR Iran's running out of shit to fight with. Slowly.

84 Specifically, this letter focuses on the climate science section of the Reference Manual on Scientific Evidence (created to help both lawyers and judges understand and manage complex scientific and technical evidence in court cases). It asserts that “The Chapter” was created to sway judges in high-stakes climate lawsuits.

Every week there is a report where data researchers just look at data to compare two sets of facts.
Example: In the 60 years from 1907 to 1966 vs. 1967 to 2026 how many days were over 95 degrees. So you just read the data from 100 (or whatever number is sig.) and then compare the 2.

The second set of data (67 to 26) had 18% FEWER days over 95.
It is not getting warmer.

It would be a lovely day to enjoy were it not for the fact that I have an awful cold, with a unique addition - every time I try to swallow, my right ear and right side of the neck feel as if someone is stabbing me with a knife. Someone who's had a similar cold says that it's a symptom that's going to hang on for a long time. I'm full of mucus and can barely sleep.

Not a coincidence that Latin America is throwing off the yoke of communism while we are taking down the source where it emanated from, Venezuela and Cuba and their benefactors in Iran and China.

What is happening all around us everyday are not a bunch of isolated incidents, they are related. The Red/Green alliance of communism and Islam have been at war with us for generations. And largely winning. Not so much anymore.

They slowly get ground down….. all the while they’re so preoccupied with survival they have very little energy or resources left to plan and execute terror outside their own borders. Again, I don't think that is random, Salty. Trump was asked the other day if he plans to do anything about China meddling in our elections. He replied something along the lines that it was old news. And generals got purged.

Meanwhile, he has taken control of 2 of China's major oil and gas stations. Which just so happens to be crushing Cuba at the same time.

Also, their supporters are dumb as posts. Well educated idiots. That's what our schools have been producing for years and it wasn't by chance.

Interesting poll came out the other day that is making the rounds. It show that most DSA supporters are highly educated and downward mobile. Baristas with PhDs. Look at the Columbia riots. We all know the type. And they are bitter and angry that all that learning has made them unemployable in anything other than menial work and they are looking for someone who will make it right.

The Bill Ayers types, who were early participants in the Cuban influence campaign, have infested our universities for decades. They focus largely on the struggle against the imperial forces that have enslaved people who go to Ivy League schools when they aren't summering in the Hamptons.

The key, of course, is to redistribute the wealth from the rich to those who truly deserve it, the workers. Because only people in menial jobs work. Story kind of ends there.

Remember when AOC famously said Elon was stupid and didn't deserve his money cause he didn't earn it? They believe the hardest working guy on the planet doesn't really work. That's what they are taught.

How many here actually read the links that JJ has gone through the trouble of gathering and posting. Show of hands. I have been emailing many of JJ's links to fellow conservatives (around 26 of them), and only two or three actually respond and comment. Meanwhile, the left eats, drinks and sleeps politics. 24/7. Our side is too busy doing, well, something. I have finally stopped sharing with other conservatives. Over the years I have given them links to AOS, and other conservative sites, going back to my Facebook days in 2012 or so. I would post a link to a story, and less than a minute later, someone would comment. They read the headline. That's it. The left i at war. Our side is at the mall.

269 I posted this commentary yesterday, but it's still relevant today;

Many young adults entering the workplace today are mostly unprepared. They have been taught nothing about keeping a schedule, showing initiative, personal responsibility and so on.

We have several local industries. Manufacturing and agriculture mostly. Medical stuff too. And there's at least a couple big names like Ford and UPS. However the social media feeds are chock full of people bitching about having to keep a schedule, do tasks they didn't think they'd have to do and so on. Many hate to "take orders" from someone else.

They quit after a week or two. And then bitch about not being able to find another job that suits their lifestyle. So they pander online. Ask for handouts.

There's a lot of them. Not one is capable of working a normal job without having some sort of accommodation made for one or more of their phobias or insecurities.

Socialism was taught to them from 1st grade as the solution to all that.

You’re thinking of the unemployment rate. To be counted as unemployed by the govt you have to be actively looking for work. If someone stops looking they are no longer considered unemployed. If a lot of people do that the unemployment rate falls.

NY Post:

The number of adults who are “not in the labor force” (NILF) surged to an all-time high in June to 105.8 million, according to figures from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

The record comes after a massive surge of 832,000 workers dropping out of the labor force in June alone. The overall number of NILFs is higher than at the height of the Great Recession or the COVID pandemic.

That startling figure is even higher than the percentage of Americans over 16 in full-time education, which is between 16 and 18%, or just over 19 million Americans.

I'm tired of the "highly educated poor economic performers" formulation, because, in fact, these people were mal-educated.

Getting a degree in "Gay Semiotics in Silver Age Aquaman Comic Books" means you haven't been educated in any serious way.

But, even if your degree isn't in something totally and easily recognized as frivolous like...oh, say..."Women's Studies" (i know, I know), how many jobs are available for that degree? Very few, vanishing few, is the answer.

These people are either stupid or gullible dupes or poor kids who were scammed by some "councilor" trying to fill up the department they taught in.

Their situation should prove the college is not for everyone.

370 'Morning, and thanks, J.J.

Mao Zedong. Remember, the 2009 White House (Christmas) holiday display ornament controversy? Simon Doonan, the creative director of Barneys New York, helped design the holiday decor for the Obama’s first Christmas in the White House. The eco-friendly holiday theme was called “Reflect, Rejoice, Renew.” Reportedly (NYT), over 800 large ornaments from past administrations were pulled from storage, sent out to community groups and charities across the U.S., and redecorated with American landmarks and local scenes before returning to the tree. (Wikipedia)

A 'few' specific ornaments - an image of Andy Warhol’s Chairman Mao, a picture of drag queen Hedda Lettuce, & an Obama face swap on Mount Rushmore - draw heavy criticism as being inappropriate. Doonan & the White House note they were part of a 'diverse, nationwide community art project.'

17 years pass, our 250th anniversary.

Following his appearance at the College Democrats of American national convention, left-wing political commentator & streamer Hasan Piker draws heavy backlash after a resurfaced video showed him calling Mao Zedong "one of the great leaders of this world."

When people lose their DACA status, they also lose their jobs, their income, their driver's licenses, and their protection from deportation.
Parents, teachers, and essential workers who contribute $6.4 billion to our economy are losing their ability to work and provide for their families every single day.
There is no question that these delays are one of the most serious threats against DACA in the program’s 14-year history.

373 WBAL tv: Secret Service agent on Vance’s detail put on leave, suspected of leaking information (CNN Staff)

In part, WASHINGTON —
A Secret Service agent on Vice President JD Vance’s security detail is under internal review and has been put on administrative leave after being suspected of leaking information for a news story that included details about Vance’s travel, a source familiar with the matter said.

A second source confirmed officials had identified a person believed to have been leaking information about Vance.

The review is being conducted by the agency’s internal affairs component, the first source said, and it’s unclear if any possible administrative punishment or criminal charges could be forthcoming.

The employee is suspected of having been a source for a recent story on MS NOW about agents on Vance’s security detail dismayed by the purported burden the vice president’s personal travel schedule has placed on his security team. As part of its coverage, MS NOW also described Vance’s planned travel, including flying with his son on a Marine Corps helicopter to a golf lesson — plans that were later aborted.
