A suspected anti-ICE terrorist has been taken into custody after allegedly carrying out an attack on a federal facility in Lower Manhattan, New York City. . . In a press conference following the attack, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) James Barnacle claimed that Arrabaca was “looking to injure people and harm people“ and described the incident as an “anti-government attack,” citing materials found on Arrabaca, including a sign that read “ICE Off Our Streets.” “An FPS Protective Security Officer swiftly tackled and detained the agitator, sustaining minor injuries during the incident. Officers quickly recovered the suspect’s bag, which contained what appeared to be two pellet guns and a manifesto,” said the Department of Homeland Security in a public statement following the attack.Wait, Arrabaca. Is that a Muslim or a coffee bean? To his credit Secretary of State Marco Rubio is leading an effort to identify and combat the threat of "Left Wing Terrorism" which although is a redundancy is indeed and remains a threat to our national security coming as it historically has done from Central and South America. But as is illustrated by what happened in Lower Manhattan as merely the latest in a very long string of Leftist terrorist acts over not just the past few years but over the course of decades, our nation and society are in mortal danger and perhaps on the verge of being snuffed out for good unless the Left is utterly eradicated from every corner of our society especially from our schools which is where this cancer originated and from where it continues to metastasize. The latest annual National Education Association convention, as usual, focused on the union's radical political and social agenda...The education of children in the three Rs was nowhere to be found at the convention. No one expressed concern that the latest National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) showed that reading scores are declining nationwide among fourth- and eighth-grade students. No state recorded gains in reading for either grade compared with 2022.That the DSA and let's face it full on communism has a receptive and growing audience not just among the fringes of society but a growing number of supposedly ordinary Americans who will reflexively vote for the candidate who has the "D" after his/her name regardless of what they espouse or worse, because they have been brainwashed into believing that America, the free market and the principles that built this nation into the greatest in human history are evil failures that are making them and the rest of humanity miserable. You and I will alternately laugh and vomit at this but the average German laughed at Adolf Hitler prior to 1934. The Democratic Socialists of America, buoyed by a slew of recent victories, have unveiled a new platform they insist “isn’t extreme” despite calling for fully disbanding the U.S. Senate and the presidency, replacing the Supreme Court, and defunding the U.S. military. The DSA’s “program” was drafted by elected representatives between April and June of 2026, and is titled “Workers Deserve More.” The project, once completed, was voted on and approved by the DSA’s National Political Committee (NPC).Oh there are going to be mass graves, gentle reader. The question is whose corpses will be in them, theirs or ours? Have a good day,

Elites, in their effort to keep power, drive people away. You would think they could learn, but so far that is not happening. So they are trying to control more. Why Trump is hated. He makes the area of the curve of prosperity wider and higher, not a spike over the elites. And freed some people from bad outcomes, so far. Posted by: NaCly Dog at July 21, 2026 07:23 AM (u82oZ) 16

Kansas Democrat Senate Frontrunner and Methodist Pastor: Bible Is Full of Errors
I would like to know the pastor's authority to declare that God's Word is "full of errors". What is a key admission here is that Hamilton is admitting he is unregenerate at best, and reprobate at worst. 1 Corinthians 2:14 teaches that the Scriptures are only understood through enlightenment of the Paraclete. That means to those who are not regenerated and made spiritually alive, the Bible is a closed book. It is "full of errors" because the LORD has not seen fit, according to His own Pleasure, to include Hamilton among the Elect. In fact, continuing on in that chapter its scoffers like Hamilton who "consider the Gospel foolish". Posted by: Community Notes at July 21, 2026 07:47 AM (NzX/y) 59

Matthews came on after Democratic strategist James Carville went on a diatribe against Sanders, and as the MSNBC host made reference to that, he invoked the historical episode when the Germans overran the Maginot Line and forced France to surrender in the middle of World War II.
Attention Chris Matthews: The Germans did not overrun the Maginot Line. Instead, they bypassed it during the early stages of World War II, using the Ardennes offensive to attack from the Belgian front and quickly pushed deep into France, leading to the fall of France in June 1940. A violent Leftist movement that few people support, but which controls the major cities, promising to abolish the existing government 3.) A massive, leaderless underclass who'd like to see #2 crushed once and for all, and are willing to make it happen 4.) An ossified Conservative movement who can't articulate any reason to even exist aside from preserving its own wealth and power, and who would sooner die horribly than ever consider making common cause with #3 against #2. The State Dept report that dropped yesterday claims that Cuba has been much more involved with the far left radicals that are taking over the Democrat Party than previously known. I think it's safe to assume that includes Venezuela and China with things like BLM and antifa which the Democrats for years to pummel us. Democrats openly welcomed the Squad and other radicals because they thought they could control them. They chose poorly. Now they have lost control of their own party. I don't think Democrats do have control over the DSA wing. They might be able to take down one or candidates but all the energy in the party is with them and it is supported by millions of brainwashed college grads who are true believers. Another big reason why taking down Venezuela, Cuba and even Iran is the radicals they have been supporting in the US to take the country down. And I would venture to say that, in spite of all the "God talk," over 90% of the commenters here agree. Among those left, a good number find a way to not take what it states, the words in their most normal sense, in order to make it fit their view. See - Genesis 1. They could but I'm not convinced that would be as successful as you think. DSA supporters are committed communists. They don't see themselves as radicals, they think we are radicals. They are literally calling to abolish the Senate and then the whole structure of our government along with police and the military. That's their platform. I don't Chuck and Hakeem calling them radicals is going to do anything other than invigorate their supporters. Posted by: JackStraw at July 21, 2026 08:46 AM (viF8m) 173

Sure, I still watch some things on TV, but mostly things that have been out for so long, ratings don't really mean that much. There will be a time in the near future I don't have time for TV, and that will be that. It will not control me. The NFL gave me my Sunday's back by hating me. @157, 163. I agree with JackStraw that the Dem establishment has lost control of the leftist crazies. Yesterday Chief Lizzy endorsed the Muzzie in Michigan, while Chuck is supporting Stevens. As JJ posted the AA Queens Borough president called the DSA "white supremacists". I don't think the propaganda ministries have the pull these days as they are either fractured between the establishment and the crazies, or they're being pushed to be more neutral. Fun times for Dems, hehehehe

Trump corraled and cornered the Democrats on every major issue.
So now they are going with the tried and true "boy it's terrible that other people have money, especially those filthy Jews" angle. And they will have enough support here and worldwide to make it look like something is happening. You're seeing it everywhere, including with the "new" guy in England. Who wants to take money from the supposed haves in the South (London) and give it to the supposed have-nots in the North. Instead of coming up with an Obama here (for now) the idea is to make it look like there is some overwhelming "movement" sweeping the nation and world. Trump will no longer be the man of the working class. Republicans will be back backing "the rich" . Like a magic trick. Democrats are taking the "people" moniker back, but in name only, as it ever was. Read this post in about 18 months and it will make a lot more sense. First Daughter had a fight with one of her roommates yesterday. She doesn't like her as the girl is a self-centered, ignorant scrunt that can't seem to function without turmoil all the time. The previous roommate was a lesbian 'victim' that she didn't get along with either.
She speaks her mind and isn't afraid to express when she thinks you're a f*ck up. Her other roommates, whom also talk shit about this particular roommate, distanced and left First Daughter fending for herself. She's now doubting herself and is worried she's a bad person. No. No she's not, just a realist hold others accountable. That's a tough row to hoe, especially today where no one is raised with accountability. Every day, it's a struggle. Not sure it will happen before he dies. The Justice Democrats were created by a couple of Bernie's campaign managers (Zack Xley, Saikat Chakrabarti), and Bernie appears to be a sort of mentor for the Squad and the others. He was the original radical who joined with the Democrats (while not being a Democrat) to subvert from within. He's not hanging on to these radicals, he's helped incubate them. This is easily predictable to anyone who’s observed their character over the years. Both the Bolsheviks and the German National Socialists didn't have majority support before coming to power.
In both cases they used events and the particulars of their situations to seize power when given the opportunity. Further a large part of their success was the "center right" parties/pols of their day refusing to address major issues - in Germany leftwing street violence, and in Russia ending WWI. The UK government has faced a significant fiscal challenge, with welfare spending exceeding income tax revenue. In the last financial year, the UK government raised £331 billion in income tax but spent £333 billion on welfare, amounting to 10.9% of the country's total GDP. This situation is not a one-off but a trend that has been observed for several years, with welfare spending being higher than income tax receipts every year since at least 2013/14. The Office for Budget Responsibility's data indicates that this trend is expected to continue, with welfare spending forecasted to be lower than income tax receipts in 2026/27 for the first time since at least 2013/14.

OT, but a pet question for all of you. I went ot Walmart and bought some Terro liquid ant baits. The packet says to keep them away from areas accessible to pets. My thought was, a dog might bite into the pack, but a cat wouldn't. But they contain liquid and have an opening for ants to crawl into. If I leave it on the floor, clever thugs Stirling and Dagny will want to knock it around and it might spill.

Sports trophies are called "cups" because the tradition dates back to the chalices and ornate drinking vessels awarded to victors in ancient Greece and Rome. By the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, giving out functional, valuable silver and gold household cups symbolized wealth, status, and the celebration of triumph.

they never talk about improving the system.
They always want to start with an affluent, self-supporting nation. In this case, the largest, most powerful and wealthy nation of all time. Show us how you manage, without any experience whatsoever on a smaller sample, something not so easily corrupted by outside influences, a high potential island maybe, like Cuba where you can demonstrate in an incubator how these principles work so well. Then when a measure of success, human flourishing and nirvana has been reached it might be easier to persuade the rest of us. But go. Now. Whoever pays for a service is the customer and gets what they want. In education it is the politicians not the parents. So the politicians get paybacks and votes, and teaching the kids anything useful isn't particularly important. Posted by: 18-1 at July 21, 2026 09:20 AM (sKqQm) 320

Get a bag from the hardware / or big box store. The pool stores sell in 25# or 50# bags which is far too much. Get a old-timey ketchup / mustard bottle from the dollar store and cut the tip, like on a tube of caulk. Fill the bottle halfway with DE, the point and squeeze to spray the DE into crevices, cracks, opening, anywhere the insects travel. Also go around the outside of your home and spray into the brick weepholes, anywhere water, gas, and electrical lines penetrate the exterior. Also spray into the plumbing access panels. The DE lasts for years in place. It works by gunking up their exoskeltons and, here's the best part, they all die! After the initial treatment, you probably will see a spike in insects up and dying on you out in your public spaces. This means its working! Worst example of this is Georgia which brought over 1/2 of Hollywood to she state. And it shows. Posted by: Insanity at July 21, 2026 See also NC. Posted by: Piper at July 21, 2026 09:39 AM (hftzA) Posted by: TeeJ at July 21, 2026 09:42 AM (dAv7M) 389
Ditch the 17th Amendment and the players change.

Morning, all. Thanks, J.J.
26 Federal Plaza must be one of the most fortified structures in Manhattan; it houses many Federal and State of NY agencies. It boggles the mind someone, reportedly a U.S. military veteran, is so...no words...attacking that building. Worked for a fed. agency located above the Varick Federal Detention Center, and had nothing to do with it. (Way back, the Center was NYC's primary processing and holding jail for undocumented immigrants and high-profile immigration detainees.) One morning, a coworker & I turned the corner and walked into an organized demonstration in the street, before the main entranceway to our offices. With clearly visible Federal IDs, we pulled luggage carts of boxes & books for (civil) trial through the demonstrators. We simply chanted "excuse me" & they parted sufficiently to let us nudge through. Such demonstrations often surrounded the 1993 WTC bombing defendants, or were closely linked to the 'Blind Sheikh.' And while security within the building was always strict & thorough, immediately outside the building, just past the demonstrators, it was such a public place. Such naivety had we. In 1995, a bomb destroyed a huge portion of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people including many seniors & children. One of the attackers had earned a Bronze Star for service in Iraq.
And the world is now a very different place from then. -- The NEA doesn't run or control NAEP. Like other public entities, it reviews NAEP (government-run test used as a statistical research tool) data to advocate for public school resources & teacher support. Because the U.S. Constitution leaves education to individual states, the NEA - the nation's largest labor union - could only become so obnoxious & powerful through specific State Laws passed over the last several decades, and, depending on the state, become highly integrated into District Operations. AI Overview: The national headquarters alone reports over $600 million in annual revenue, which does not even include the hundreds of millions more retained locally by state affiliates. The two major national teachers unions are the NEA and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). While they occasionally cooperate on national campaigns, they historically operated separately—with the NEA historically Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 21, 2026 09:57 AM (NFX2v) 392
functioning more as a professional organization 😬 and the AFT rooted strictly in the labor movement.
Today, both function primarily as traditional labor unions. In some states, they operate as unified, merged affiliates. BTW, in 1959, Wisconsin became the first state to pass a law allowing public employees to bargain collectively. 👉Defending Education: DivertED: National teachers’ unions have contributed over $660M million to far-left organizations and leftwing political groups, 04/27/2026 Investigations --- Also from above, DSA is for "disbanding the U.S. Senate and the presidency, replacing the Supreme Court, and defunding the U.S. military." Well, of course, the U.S. House is all that's needed! And ditching the U. S. Constitution. Let's make a deal & do the opposite. Disband/rid the huge numbers of U.S. House members & their associated staffs. Good day 🤗 Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 21, 2026 09:57 AM (NFX2v) 393
161 Tdy. But I can still occasionally lurk. God bless.

PS - When I first glanced at the today's opening picture, I thought, Comedy actress Josephine Tewson from the Keeping Up Appearances series (British, 1990s).
And couldn't imagine why she'd be part of the Morning Report. 🤣 Posted by: Urban bird control at July 21, 2026 10:42 AM (NFX2v) Processing 0.08, elapsed 0.0716 seconds. |
