as well as in the sidebar and available on the popular outlets noted at the end of this post, the usual suspects on the Left as well as shockingly from DHS chief Markwayne Mullin are in an uproar about ICE agents not only doing their duty in rounding up illegal aliens but in using lethal force to defend their lives from being snuffed out by their quarry. Despite the disgusting naked propaganda campaign to turn not merely lettuce-picking border jumpers but the most violent criminal rapists, murderers, human and drug-traffickers among them into the second coming of Anne Frank resisting the Gestapo. Well, in that light lookie here at what has been revealed about the now justifiably (to any sane person) ventilated would-be murderer.
Federal authorities found three bags of what they believe to be meth inside the van driven by the Mexican man who was shot and killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Houston last week. An FBI search warrant said investigators found bags containing a “white crystal-like substance” that “is consistent with methamphetamine” inside the vehicle driven by Lorenzo Salgado Araujo.But of course law enforcement officers stopping this bastard was a crime against humanity, eh Democrats? So they've now got a wetback George Floyd to try and shove in our faces. And speaking of Minnesota with the aforementioned in mind:

Tou Lue Vang, an illegal alien from Laos, had been convicted in 2006 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after he repeatedly assaulted a girl between 2002 and 2004, starting when she was just 10 years old. He once offered his victim $10 to keep quiet about the sexual assaults. When interviewed by police, he tried to justify his actions as “a cultural thing,” and even said that his victim was just as guilty as him and should also be arrested. Following his conviction, a Department of Justice (DOJ) Immigration Judge issued Vang a final order of removal on October 31, 2006.Tim Walz who is a credibly suspected P3do himself pardoned this Laotion louse to prevent his ejection from our country. Thank goodness that heinous abuse of power was rejected but how many more of these bastards must we be forced to endure. It would be better that the administration not attempt to kowtow and pander to the Left by accepting their premises about ICE and other law enforcement officers doing their duty and unfortunately having to on occasion use lethal force to defend their lives from vermin foreign and domestic who are tearing us apart from within. So, okay, body cams on ICE agents. Is that going to prevent any future incidents caught on tape from being completely misrepresented by the Dems and their media whore propagandists? Of course not. Just look at what they did with the George Floyd evidence. An autopsy that clearly proved the decomposing Son of the Great Society died not because of what officer Derek Chauvin did in restraining him but because of a weak heart and the ingestion of his drug stash. This garbage has to end because if it doesn't one day it will end us. And on that note, I give you this revolting development:

She was arrested, charged with simple-assault, and released to face trial later. Oops, ICE was already interested in her and detained her upon release. And that's where the current drama with her husband trying to get her released from the Delaney Hall facility in Newark NJ.
Here's the post by Homeland Security on X (via nitter.net) that has the bit of info we were missing yesterday:

"She entered the United States on April 14, 2024, on a visa set to expire on September 6, 2024. In violation of our nation’s laws, she overstayed her visa and failed to depart."
So: She was probably on a B-2 visa (tourism) with a possible reason of "Visit with friends or relatives". Those have a six month maximum. You must depart the country, checking in with CBP in person to declare that you're leaving so they have a record of it. She didn't. FAFO.

Where, on the other hand, has been any counter-propaganda or education campaign on Capitalism and the free market, outside of cheap and easy, sloganized campaign rhetoric?
Trump can say Socialism is evil and a new Golden Age is here, but what the hell does that mean to the average civically illiterate American? It's empty rhetoric.
Where has been any attempt to educate young people on civics?

For one, the past two generations have at least the benefit of government school indoctrination—ironically they fail to see that their private and home-school counterparts do substantially better in life.
Part may be perpetual adolescence. The actual costs of living were absorbed by the parent(s) and were "mean" if after all of the expenses and retirement savings there wasn't enough to shower toys and luxuries on their spawn.
Western Arrogance. Refusal to accept Cause & Effect, because (see above) it often requires abstract thinking. (If I build only unreliable and horribly expensive vanity energy projects while tearing down base-line energy, and build only to nameplate and not actual output, why is my utility bill so high and we are experiencing brown outs?)

If you aren't a member, you will have to pay for the full cost of extinguishing the fire—the same way that you are expected to pay the full cost of replacing your car if uninsured and total it.

When I was growing up my mom took us to the local town doc (who everyone knew and loved) and she paid cash (no insurance!) and we got excellent medical care. Catastrophic insurance policies existed for major hospitalizations etc so no one went bankrupt when they faced a medical issue. That same doctor would sometimes not charge anything if he knew our family finances were tight at the time… and he was one of the more affluent members of the community. Government stayed out and it was much better. Now go to a doc with sniffles and you MUST show your insurance card. Thanks government

In defense of standard time, if schools change their start times, these kids might need to go to a daycare or sitter prior to school. Most people don't start work at 9 a.m. Most of us start between 7 and 8. It would still be dark in the winter so you're saying all businesses should accommodate people with kids because the schools changed their start hours due to darkness and congress decides to pass this because they are incapable of doing anything else?

Man - sorry but when my kid was little I didn't shlep him off at 0600 so I could get more sleep. We had to get up to get ready to work. Also, where did you come up with 0600 hours. It would be more like 0900 hours. If we have to pay to put them in daycare for 2-3 hours before school and arrange to have them picked up on the bus at the daycare or sitter that would suck and be costly for alot of people. I remember those days jockeying to get the kid off to school before you had to be at work. After school the kid would get dropped off at a sitter for a few hours until I got there after work.

In defense of standard time, if schools change their start times, these kids might need to go to a daycare or sitter prior to school. Most people don't start work at 9 a.m. Most of us start between 7 and 8. It would still be dark in the winter so you're saying all businesses should accommodate people with kids because the schools changed their start hours due to darkness and congress decides to pass this because they are incapable of doing anything else?

Think that has nothing to do with it? Then check out Mutual Benefit societies like Samaritan's that have medical cost sharing between cherry-picked members. Looks like socialism, but is an insurance program that maneuvers around the evil of Obamacare.
Know why their rates are substantially lower? They still have structural overhead and still deal with medical facilities, but they don't cover high-risk people like drug users and those who are chronic psychological clients, or those with crappy health-lifestyle (morbid obese, alcoholic, etc.)

For the record, I don't have this issue since my kid is 38 years old and just graduating high school. LOL I kid.
However I can see this being a problem for alot of young couples with kids that didn't expect this since most schools start at a reasonable hour so people can drop them off and get to work.

Remember when their was a debate about putting body cams on regular cops the left was for it - they believed it would show massive bad behavior by cops and especially racism.
And while there has been an occasional bad apple most police body cam footage has in fact shown the people they are arresting are assholes and escalate confrontations.
So I would be ok with bodycams on ICE, but tie it to something we want like passing SAVE.

There are certainly more zoomers on the nominal Right than millennials - I'm one of three people in that group, so it's not hard to beat.
But it's not the "Right" as anyone over about 35 thinks of it.

If you want to solve the rise of socialism the key is to seriously role back current levels of government intervention in the economy.
Why?
The problem these people are concerned about is that their salaries are not going up as fast of the cost of living. But...this is a backward view.

Around here, kids start school in the dark for nearly the entire year. Free breakfasts. Schools serve them at something like 0630. It's dark at that hour... the entire time the kids are in school.
Cut out the early morning day care activities schools are being funded for and you could start at 0900 when it's light... all school year.

As I said, this does not affect me but it's the equivalent of telling businesses they need to adjust their work hours to accommodate those who want to see the sun in the winter past 5 o'clock and if any of them have kids in school. Sometimes work hours are not up for debate. Who's the snowflake here...Sponge, because it ain't me? I'm just trying to point out an issue. I don't give two shits if the kids wait in the dark, but I can see society deciding they shouldn't and change everything to accommodate those people who don't mind darkness till mid morning so they can have an extra hour after work to see daylight.

I said this doesn't affect me and my kid 30 plus years ago went to private school and picked him up at his daycare home and dropped him off there (her kids went to the same school). So it wasn't an issue, but I can see where it would be since the school times have changed in the last 30 plus years.

Sponge, I heard that some states can do that but to do that they need to have every state that touches their state be in agreement. So say for Connecticut, if New York, Mass, and RI says yes and New York touches PA and they say no, New York can't do it, which means we can't and so on. So it's a long line of Mother May I before you can opt out.

But they owned my ass, too. I could get an Article 15 for a severe sunburn. Why? Because I can’t do my job.

Then poor people wanted the benefits that wealthy people earned without actually having to work for it. We call that coveting and stealing "socialism" and instead of it being a violation of two of the Ten Commandments, is now a Right and a Virtue.
Of course, the insurance companies likely own the building you work in, are backing the mortgage of your house and invest by the hundreds of billions in things that shed regular income streams.
Your premiums also help make modern life available.

Insurance companies aren't private equity firms that make money trading that then use those proceeds to fund their insurance businesses.
They are brokerages which invest your premiums and use the earnings off of those assets to offset the cost of insuring you.

Making them talk about and defend is a GOOD thing. Reminds people there is more to the world than ICE, Iran and DEI.
On top of everything else they sound guilty. He will have plenty of stuff but I'm saying it might not be much those in the know don't already know.

The conclusion we all reached is that the media, the academics, and the euro-lib elite are frothing at the mouth about nothing. America is not evil.
The other conclusion: Europe isn’t evil either. But Europe is governed by anti-American ideologues who have dug in their heels on the most unpopular positions their own voters can name.
So I told that someone close to European defense officials: nobody gives two craps about your concerns.

the world cup is just about finished. the thousands of foreign visitors who showed up and burst out their amazement at all of normal life here also inadvertently admitted they swallowed the lies of their home countries about being here. it is political penis envy that poisons the pen of the foreign press. I'm so jaded and cynical that I'm not going to give it a passing thought. I'm just going to put it out there - its going to be a nothingburger.
It's going to be a bunch of paperwork about how vulnerable our election system was but it will have absolutely no proof that the Chinese or anyone else changed vote totals. Unless he wheels out a semi truck full of confiscated ballots that have been doubly-independently verified as fake or fraudulent, its going to get blown off. Hell, even if he does do that, it'll still be blown off. He can say "I have definitive proof that grass is green and water is wet!" and the public will just be like "See Trump lies!!!!!"
There's not going to be any substantial change to any voting laws based on what the President is going to announce tonight.
Just prepping the space for us all to be let down.

"If he was speeding away, it was probably because he feared having his tools stolen, his son said." (Tools stolen from a moving vehicle that had had at least four men inside?)
