My coffee is important but it's not a sacramental rite. I use very ordinary Kirkland dark roast pods from Costco ($40 for 120). Still, I know from experience that prayer helps - a lot. And that there is no upper limit. So if anyone could include me in theirs, I would greatly appreciate it. More winning as the Trump administration forced a better deal for the U.S. regarding the new Gordie Howe International Bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor. The bridge was scheduled to open in mid-June, but Trump nixed that pending review of the original terms.
-- U.S. now gets up to half of the toll revenue beginning on day one (Canada was to receive all of the toll revenue until the money it fronted for the project, $4.7B, was recouped) -- No imported Chinese EVs will be allowed entry into the U.S. via the bridge The bridge in now scheduled to open July 27. Well, what are you waiting for? Buy it sight unseen at the asking price. What could go wrong?
Posted by: Count de Monet at July 11, 2026 08:35 AM (wVcYX) I have actually done this. Well, almost. The realtor saw it for us. And the price was fine. It worked out well for us. Posted by: Dash my lace wigs! at July 11, 2026 08:56 AM (h7ZuX) 94
My daughter's labadoodle is on our minds today. The poor thing has a bloated abdomen and is getting an ultrasound and possibly surgery today. A perforated bowel or cancer are suspected.

The Horde knows about my snake in the ductwork incident, but that was only part of the saga around my house in the last 6 months or so. Lots of $ has been spent, but for a long time it seemed like I was actually making things worse. As of this moment, my crawl space is all done except the wiring and water heater (both of which I've been told are good for now). I'm still waiting to see if the latest tweaks will help with the flooding in heavy or prolonged rains. I would really like to never get in there with a shop vac again.
I've had massive anxiety trying to make big expensive decisions alone when I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. I recently read Psalm 112 which includes this verse: "He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord." (112:7) This doesn't need to go on the list, but I'd appreciate a Horde prayer that I could learn to trust the Lord and not be afraid of the next thing to go wrong in the house. Also for a few months without any more major expenses so I can begin to recover. I've picked up a side gig to help pay for it all, so I may not have to sell a kidney or any firearms. To have crawl space or slab foundation, that is the question.
