24 Psalm 93:

93 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4 The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.

25 Evening and morning, late toilers and early risers. 'Tis Friday at last, the consummation devoutly to be wished!

Fen, congrats on the new kitten, Millard! Depending on his age, he might well miss his siblings and mother. Stirling's mother had died a while before I adopted him, I was told, and he must have been human-raised, as he has always been attached to people. During his first summer with me he insisted on springing into bed with me every morning and milk-treading my arm (tiny claws -- ouch!). He still does that every day or so at age four. So Millard may be very attached to you and your son.

29 Anyway! Temps are down a fraction here, but I'm not going out in it now. Miss Linda and I will go to the nearby mall at ten to walk vigorously before the stores open.

Before that I have another video tour, of a house I looked at in May but am reconsidering now. I've never gone "That's perfect!" the way I did with the one I put the offer on, and so I'm not very sanguine, but who knows.

I'd love to be there and walk through these places myself, but I really can't yet. I tried that in Kansas and ended up spending money and putting wear and tear on me and my car. Yes, moving to an apartment in my prospective area is an option, though a poor one. The dough I'd spend on deposits, pet deposits, pet rent, rent, and moving or storing my furniture would be better put on the house itself. But I may have to.

Funny, ain't it, how most of those "enclaves" listed by the Commie are non-European. Irish, Italian, German, Jewish, all left out accidentally on purpose. "Little Poland" and "Little Ukraine" are there, but otherwise, no Europeans are mentioned.

Good to hear. Little Dagny was older when I adopted her, five months -- her breeder doesn't let them go until that age -- and she is well-socialized and pleasant, but has never milk-treaded. She is The Cat Who Walks by Herself and All Places Are Alike to Her.
