Good morning kids. Well, surprise surprise, Platner is out! They must've thrown a nice chunk of change to exit stage left. While he is truly one of the most vile pieces of human garbage in recent memory ever running for office, I suppose on a positive note it's a sign that the Democrat media/propaganda complex isn't nearly as powerful as it seems in protecting one of their own. Up and down the line every major and minor lefty in and out of government was praising this sick bastard to high Heaven, and you'd think they'd've kept their mouths shut if either they had known the extent of his record or otherwise felt they couldn't keep a tight enough lid on it. Democrat Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner suspended his campaign Wednesday after a previous girlfriend accused him of sexual assault. Platner announced his exit two days after 41-year-old Maine resident Jenny Racicot accused him of forcibly having sex with her in 2021. The Maine Democrat was embroiled in several controversies, including his Nazi tattoo, inappropriate social media posts and his mockery of a veteran. “We are suspending our campaign operations,” Platner said in a video statement. “This is incredibly difficult because I know that some will think it’s an admission of guilt and it most certainly is not. We’re not doing it because of the allegations, we’re doing it because of the structures that are being taken away from us by those in power. And I also feel an immense amount of responsibility to everyone who has worked so hard to get us where we are. We went toe to toe with one of the most entrenched political systems in the history of the world and we won.”On a down note, I will assume his departure regardless of who his replacement will be, if even he can be replaced on the ballot per Maine election laws, means that the hideous harridan backstabbing RINO Susan Collins will most likely win her bid for reelection and we'll be saddled with this RINO shitwhore for another six years of backstabbing Maine and America. Oh well... Have a good day,

Interestingly “Hispanic” was a sort of convention that debuted during the first Nixon administration iirc, a new designation conferring special rights.
“Chicano” was in vogue for a time (as was “Afro-American” and other unwieldy nomenclature). Strangely, since that time, if you read the police blotters, perpetrators have always been listed as “White”, not “Hispanic”, one presumes this has significantly skewed the crime statistics for persons of pallor Posted by: Common Tater at July 09, 2026 07:10 AM (IgyJl) 33

Maybe not as rapidly and ruthlessly as we'd like but Cornyn, Massie and Cassidy just to name a few might disagree. The really wild part of what happened in Maine isn't that Platner is out, it's that it took him actually raping a woman to finally get Democrats to pull the rip cord. One takeaway here is that the DNC has total responsibility for all DSA candidates everywhere, and the conflict is a kayfabe. Even despite Platner being observably some kind of psychopath, and Maine law putting the ball entirely in his court, they still somehow managed to lever him out when they really wanted to.

---------- The current (D) platform is pretty much everything Platner stood for. It's why he had some notable backers at first. The only thing that soured the rank and file over there was that he was so vocal about it. Had he chilled out a bit I think he would have been fine. As for the GOP... if its leadership had balls they'd be asking, publicly, about McConnell's situation. They'd be hammering the SAFE act holdouts. They'd be bitching about the judicial insurrection and making threats. None of that is remotely "ruthless." It's doing their job. Don't get me wrong. I take a backseat to nobody in my disdain for the GOP but I am seeing some improvement. Paxton for Cornyn seems like a big upgrade and getting rid of Massie is big. Not fast enough but better. The Senate has long been a club that operates solely for the benefit of the club members. Most of them on both sides the aisle could give a rip about us and they won't change so replacing them is the only way and given 6 year cycles and the power of incumbency it is not going to happen overnight. 73 True, Collins is not a conservative, but a conservative is not going to be elected in New England, and especially Maine. If the options are her, or a no-shit Democrat, we're better off with her. All of the Smart Flag Officers have insisted that Iran has onlly two options - caving into them forever or Boots on the Ground Quagmire.
But Trump has showed that there was always another way - using our strength in a measured way to wear them down at minimal cost in lives and treasure. Two of the targets taken out in bombings last night were the only two rail lines that led from Iran to Turkmenistan and from there China. That will go a long way towards preventing China from helping Iran rearm. I agree that Trump is finally taking a new approach to breaking Iran and it seems a lot of people are uncomfortable with it though at the same time they offer no realistic alternative. “White Non-College”
Back in 2016 I tripped over a spreadsheet that let you predict the election outcome. Importantly, it used state-by-state demographics so it fit with the Electoral College. It had cohorts: White College, White Non-College, Black, Hispanic, Asian. There's a large and still-growing divide between White College and White Non-College -- which is the largest cohort by far, more than 2x White College. And you could toggle for Turnout! In March 2016, I used it and posted here that if Trump got a 5% boost in White Non-College turnout, he'd win with just over 300 EVs. Ace at the time was virulently anti-Trump and banned me for insolence. Turnout. Turnout. Turnout. The conventional wisdom is that the other party gains in the mid-terms. Trump's about to prove this wrong. Posted by: Ignoramus at July 09, 2026 08:43 AM (dtajH) 218

Wars are decided by logistics, and we hold all the cards.
Iran's entire strategic value came from oil - pumping it and potentially blocking it. We are taking that away. New pipelines bypassing their reach are underway, and new production well away from them is coming on line. These things are knowable, definable efforts. There are people watching the production curves and they have the lines already marked out. When that happens, we can turn Kharg Island into scrap and mine Iran's ports, bomb the wells and leave them. Enjoy living in the stone age, losers. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. For my part, I said since literally hour one that an Iranian uprising shouldn't be a key strategic goal - though it clearly was. I hope that neocon pipe dream has been shaken off by decision makers.
It was very unlikely to occur at all, even less likely to succeed, and if by some miracle it somehow did, would have required a permanent American presence to sustain in power. These people are not going to do it, and we can't make this quixotic dream a victory condition. That was retarded. If - IF - regime change is a goal, we need to pick a suitable to warlord to run the show after collapsing this one, arm him to the teeth, back off, and let him swing his scimitar freely to maintain his rule. Yes, he'll loot the country and oppress many civilians along with the ancien regime that oppressed their opponents before. So what? It's a possible outcome. A free Iran run by its people through modern political constructs is not. Too many Muslims there. It's that simple. If you want that outcome, you'll need a genocide of Iranian Muslims first, and we ain't going there. Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at July 09, 2026 08:52 AM (BI5O2) 250

"Athenaeum Book Club
@athenaeumbc University professors are saying they're now unable to teach history because reading long books and passages is how a person learns history. Their students are simply incapable of reading more than a few pages. Some classes don't assign any reading at all now, only lectures. There is an assumption among the people managing this decline that reading is just a way of receiving information. It isn't. Proper reading is how we build the mental muscle to synthesize ideas and evaluate them. If the catastrophic decline in reading and literacy is not addressed now, we risk losing everything. This is civilizational. Western civilization cannot survive the death of reading because it was built by people with the kind of cognitive depth that a culture of deep reading brings: Complex reasoning, extended internal dialogue, the capacity to hold opposing ideas in tension. Our systems and institutions are complex, and they require well ordered minds to maintain them. Reading forms minds, and the West was built by the richest minds in history. We must continue to form new minds in this same model model if we're going to keep it." Posted by: runner at July 09, 2026 08:53 AM (GD0B3) 256

Researchers analyzed satellite data from 2003 to 2011 covering an area in Texas that hosts four of the world’s largest wind farms. In the areas with wind farms, nighttime surface temperatures in summer increased by up to 0.65 °C more than in comparable areas without turbines. The calculated warming trend was up to 0.72 °C per decade.
Why do turbvines cause warming? At night, the ground cools down, making the air near the surface colder than the layers above. The turbine rotors disrupt this natural stratification, mixing the layers and forcing warmer air down to the surface, which warms and dries out the ground. It never was. Some have inserted that goal and tried to make it Trump's but it never was. Same hold true for Venezuela. Delcy Rodriguez was always a power behind Maduro and she is pretty much running things now and doing what she is told. And nobody cares. The desired outcome from our perspective in Iran is an Iran that isn't threatening the world with nukes, isn't threatening Israel or regional states and generally plays by the rules when it comes to international order. It would be great if the mullahs left. It would be great if a number of despotic governments around the world fell. Wind turbines... Spinning windmills is cheap. Producing anything of value off that will cost more than spinning the windmill.
-------- Last year, over in China, an offshore wind turbine, one of the largest ever constructed was only in operation for a couple weeks before being shut down. It was affecting the local climate. To the point the local fishermen were not harvesting enough fish for the nearby population. Storms in Texas toppled several wind turbines... the wind blew them over in an ironic twist of fate. Scripture records that Mary’s relative Elizabeth was from the daughters of Aaron (Luke 1:5), meaning Elizabeth was of the tribe of Levi. This familial link demonstrates that intertribal connections were not uncommon. However, the strongest textual witness concerning Mary’s direct lineage consistently identifies her with David’s line, rooted in Judah.

Iran’s top exports are polyethylene and iron ore. Their top export destinations are China, Turkey, Pakistan and India. The polyethylene is obviously hydrocarbon dependent, but they are still a large exporter in that market. They have a lot of in country arms manufacturing capabilities by necessity. They are also being resupplied through the Caspian Sea and by tail from Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. Where do you think all that new hardware we just smoked came from? Every pause gives them an opportunity to reconstitute capabilities. We should have never stopped combat operations, and we shouldn’t pause again.

It's a problem with his sometimes chaotic messaging. Posted by: CharlieBrown'sDildo at July 09, 2026 09:06 AM (XijPK ============================ Did he? I know it was not a military goal, as laid out initially. I know he repeatedly said he would love it if the Iranian people killed off the mullahs. I heard him wish the regime would be gone. I never heard him instruct our military to do it, but I might have missed it. After awhile, I tuned him out. Trump has to win the House elections if he can. I thought he was cruising to that goal until he went into Iran, so (given the political risk) he obviously thought it was more important than we knew. Now he's trying to skate a very thin line, downplaying Iran even while issuing those horrible-sounding threats he likes to bellow. Posted by: Huck Follywood at July 09, 2026 09:12 AM (8KiMg) 320

294 Scripture records that Mary’s relative Elizabeth was from the daughters of Aaron (Luke 1:5), meaning Elizabeth was of the tribe of Levi. This familial link demonstrates that intertribal connections were not uncommon. However, the strongest textual witness concerning Mary’s direct lineage consistently identifies her with David’s line, rooted in Judah.

Indict Brennan, he'll squeal, and his compromatees will drop ship him another canoe 2. Depose Dimon, for covering for Esptein and Brennan. The three Emails: BirthdayBook, WallOfCash, IntelligenceLink -- if Brennan didn't know he wouldn't be very intelligent would he? culpable, absolutely. Bonus Link: AviLoop, Epstein's the aviation-like website, "ready for takeoff"? only a faiiure of imagination could fail to understand what it was for -- and that's the Clinton-link. Epstein went to the WH 17 times, and discussing Monica at least 4 -- not a bit suspicious... just failure of imagination. Misdirection, 9/10 thinking, until it isn't LET's GO BRANDON. TAKE THE RISK. FREE THE WORLD. Brennan Undead and ctHARRIS/19 (now 25) will target each other in a conflagration worthy of PPV. https://tinyurl.com/forWARd-WhoRtheTargets https://tinyurl.com/forWARd-ctHARRIS19takedown Not One Battle after Another; One LIB after Another. 'Morning, all. Thanks, J.J.
During the 2020 Democratic presidential primary, Kamala Harris suspended her presidential campaign citing lack of financial resources. "In good faith, I can't tell you, my supporters and volunteers, that I have a path forward if I don't believe I do. ..." Platner also suspended his campaign primarily citing lack of financial resources and support. (Reportedly, $14 million of a $16 million pot spent; financial support from on high was falling well before the line of accusers.) July 6, 2025, Statement from the Maine Democratic Party on a Potential U.S. Senate Nomination Process Technically, he's not out so if he doesn't officially quit by Monday, he stays on the ballot. (Whether he stays on the ballot depends on the filing rules.) However, Troy Jackson, Former Maine State Senate President and political ally of Platner, filed the paperwork to replace him. NPR, July 8, 2026, Former Maine Sen. Troy Jackson says it would be 'self-serving' if Graham Platner runs. Democratic Senate nomination against incumbent Susan Collins. Jackson has previously earned the endorsement of Sen. Bernie Sanders and his group, Our Revolution."
Born of a 16 years old mother, raised Catholic. Wikipedia, in part, "In 1998, Jackson helped lead a logging blockade along the Maine–Canada border, with loggers from Maine physically blocking Canadian loggers from crossing the border at three border checkpoints." "Opponents of the blockade said that using bonded foreign temporary workers under the U.S. federal H-2A visa program was legal and that it was also necessary, and that local workers by themselves could not satisfy all of the labor needs of the Maine wood industry.[9] Industry advocates also accused protest organizers of scapegoating Canadian laborers for macro-economic shifts and poor timber market conditions.[9]" In June 2013, Jackson & Maine Governor Paul LePage engaged in dicey verbal exchanges. (Worth a glance.) On January 25, 2015, Jackson was elected as a member of the Democratic National Committee.[31] This gave him a superdelegate vote at the 2016 Democratic National Convention. He was one of only a handful of Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 09, 2026 09:34 AM (NFX2v) 397
superdelegates to endorse and vote for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.[32]."
The "movement" a tad bent, not broken. >Semafor, View / Why Platner’s implosion won’t singe the Sanders wing "Next month’s race in Michigan, which was always going to be a marquee battle between the left and center-left, will be a real check of where the base is. A victory by Rep. Haley Stevens, over progressives who see Abdul El-Sayed with all the momentum (and talent), would truly reset expectations about where the party is heading." They still got Talarico and a bunch of other nuts. I'm much more concerned about yesterday's Morning Report and further escalating "Jew hating" in this nation. "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it." George Santayana (Art thread?) Good day 🤗 Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 09, 2026 09:34 AM (NFX2v) 398

At work yesterday, two very lefty gals were discussing Platner, and they were trying so very hard to excuse his behavior but they just couldn't make it work:

"Trump Admin Launches Probe Into H-1B Visa Fraudsters Stealing Jobs From Americans"
------ I'll believe they're serious when I see the biggest abusers in the dock: Microsoft, Google and Facebook. Every damned one of them have imported thousands of H(half- assed coders)1-Bs. Even when any given guy is only here for a year, it's a net negative, because they go back home where they are hired in overseas sites for the companies. That revolving door is a continuous tech transfer to India (mostly). There will still be those overseas sites even if we kill the entire H1B program, but they would be much smaller. If the H1B program had never existed, I don't think that any of those sites outside the US would have been established, but the genie is out of the bottle and now we're in damage control mode. 9/10ths of this site is now about a few select topics that are beaten into paste.
After so many millions of words about jazzy and the nazi, aren't your stats showing a decline in readership? I have a hard time believing the regulars are coming to this site every day and reading the exact same content over and over again. I got sick of Fox et al a long time ago because of this same nonsense. The only content seems to be the batstuff crazy ramblings of a leftist and the response from the right. But it's easy, right? Why bust your hump finding out what's going on in the world when you can just open the X app and and be shocked that jazzy don't like dem whitey?
