Ride'em, Meowboy! That's a nice arrangement. The horse's hair and hide are tough so it doesn't even feel the claws, and the cat seems to know that and isn't afraid to use them to climb on. Posted by: Delurker at July 07, 2026 07:33 PM (2Drhq) Posted by: Al at July 07, 2026 07:33 PM (3S7YA) 8

You guys can find a weekend or week long retreat experience to go on I think the RCC retreat will even accept non Catholics . If they're offering the Eucharist you just need not to partake . That I speculate on this - about not being RC to participate comes from someone I know who went on a spiritual retreat and she hadn't been in a RC church in about 40 years except for weddings and funerals and she had a wonderful time. Check "Retreat centers" in your area.

Let me start an argument. As you know, this is the season of road construction which frequently leads to lane closures requiring mergers. The issue is whether one should merge as soon as possible into the open lane or use the less traveled, soon to be closed lane to speed ahead and "zipper" into the open lane at the merge. I saw an official traffic sign instruction to zipper yesterday which is against my instincts.

Anonosaurus Wrecks and His All White Jury!
Zipper is faster and uses more lane space to reduce long lines. And avoids people going to the front of an empty lane to then merge. That last tactic is provoking to those with anger management issues and firearms. Pro recommendation: Zipper merge just before the the end of one closed lane.
