Everyone Hates Thieves and Wants to See Them Hurt Open Thread

I don't know if this is real or if they're paying the "thieves" to take the bikes. This seems like a huge lawsuit and possibly a crime.

Let's assume it's real. It looks real.

Putting out a bait bike for thieves to steal. The trick is, the seat has an explosively-deployed airbag hidden in the seat.

Skip to 6:30 if you want to jump past all the preamble.

This one with a big spike in the seat is a little much. Skip this one if that idea is too much for you.

This one is much more watchable. The seat has mini-spikes, but the danger isn't that they'll pierce the thief. The danger is that they're electrified.

12 Back in the late 1900's I couldn't afford a car so I rode a bike everywhere. They got stolen all the time. Once I had my bike locked up behind the sandwich joint I worked at. Somebody came along, broke the lock and took off with it. They left a shitty bike in it's place so at least I had something to ride back home. I hate thieves.

I hate thieves, too. I knew a very well-dressed, well-educated girl who always took things back to the store after she broke them and constantly stole dishes from restaurants. If she knew anyone who worked in any kind of service industry, she always pressured them to give her the service free -- free carwash, free haircut, whatever. I don't even like it on that level.

In addition to these type videos which are all too plentiful, they SHOULD require those videos using AI to provide that information in the title as well.

There is evil Big Pharma but most in the industry are trying to do good things. Thyroid health is one of them. There was much discussion last night on the subject as it became apparent that many of us are on thyroid meds.

Basically it's a simple test for, free TSH, TSH close or above the reference range indicates that the thyroid is not putting out enough and needs supplementation. Obtaining the correct dosage takes a while. Dosage is in micro grams not milligrams.

84 I have to admit, I enjoy watching X videos of foreigners trying various local cuisine and places like El Walomarto and Bucees. The couple that went to bug tussle AL and had chicken fried steak and gravy, pie and sweet tea was the best. The fact that they got ice water and didn't have to pay for that was spot on. I think the owner paid the bill for them.

97 I like YouTube but the videos that are, like, people talking or demonstrating something. Possibly teaching or informing, though that's rarer.

Point being I lived an entire life without 2 second, 20 second or 250 second people acting stupid videos. I've had my fill of people acting stupid or being stupid in real life. And their dumb opinions for that matter. So I will continue in my bliss of not watching shorts, vines, tiktok or the assorted YouTube dumbness. Party pooper? Maybe. Sane? Also maybe.
