Not one of his busier, urban scenes. This one is relaxing like the horses shown. Everything is soft: the grass, the gentle swell of the land, the slow movement of the barges. Only the horses are solid to focus the attention on them. It's a pleasant scene to enjoy at a relaxing moment.

Grok thoughts on horse face celebrities:
Sarah Jessica Parker is by far the most commonly cited example in discussions of this (often rude) description. People frequently point to her long, narrow face shape, prominent chin/jawline, and overall equine-like proportions—especially in memes, forums, and lists about distinctive celebrity faces. She’s embraced her unique look and had massive success with it (e.g., Sex and the City), but the “horse face” label has stuck for decades. Other frequently mentioned names: • Taylor Swift: Often listed for her long face and features. • Celine Dion: Called out in “celebrities who look like horses” threads for her facial structure. • Hilary Duff and Anna Kendrick: Appear on user-generated “horse face” actor lists. • Others occasionally mentioned: Hilary Swank, Tori Spelling, and in older threads, figures like Chelsea Clinton or Camilla (though these are more niche or political jabs). 1st game summer ball, we beat our arch-rivals in a back and forth game. Little had a tough, character-building night, twice getting out at 3rd, despite getting on 1st 3/3, with a FC, E, and hard fought BB for the tying RBI in the 6th, which the next batter walked off with a single RBI to end the game 8-7, after which they mobbed the batter. This arch-rival (largely the team of the same makeup), they had just beat in the Championsjip just two weeks prior. In more important news (LL Baseball continued):
2nd game, we beat our other arch-rivals (hey, it's small rural town America, they're all arch-rivals), 7-4. Little had a great night, starting with a K and ending with an RBI single. He got back on the horse, delivered 2 Ks, giving up 1 BB and 1 run in two innings, and delivered 17 strikes on 31 pitches for 9 batters. We'd been working on adding some speed to his pitching by changing up some of his mechanics, and I'd asked the coach to hold off pitching him until we could dial it in. Just that morning, everything clicked, he got dialed in over about 10 pitches that we'd allotted for game day practice, and got him tools to get back his accuracy without reverting to old form, while giving him his confidence back. We'd also been working on his attitude, body language, and composure in the face of setbacks, which was a surprising issue in his first game. On his strikeout, the third out of a 4 run, two out rally, I saw him drop his head and shoulders, then, after a half-second, he made the conscious decision and held his head up, held his shoulders back, and trotted back to the dugout like a boss. That's what baseball is about. Posted by: Comrade Flounder, Disinformation Demon at July 01, 2026 10:02 AM (dK+Kv) 115

>>If memory serves, and it might not in this case, there was a hockey player who was charged with assault for hitting another player in the face with his stick. I believe the charges were dropped, though, as it happened in Canada and witnesses said that he apologized immediately after.
More recently, a skater slashed the neck of another player, who died. No charges. Posted by: Lizzy at July 01, 2026 10:39 AM (X8xt3) 203
195 What I'm saying is there's no such thing as Bidenism. A figurehead to help continue the Long March.
Posted by: ... at July 01, 2026 10:36 AM (ouWD3) That's kind of the salient feature of "Bidenism", though, isn't it? They just waltz in and take what they want, forgetting that there's a lot more things you have to do to maintain the ability to do that. They were too stupid to realize all the work that went in to building the apparatus they used to become who they are, they just took it as their birthright. Like spoiled aristocrats. This. What Biden said in his final years were catch phrases he had uttered all his like, pablum such as "everybody deserves a fair shake!" Didn't require thought, just a sort of muscle memory - put him on stage at a dais and he spits these phrases automatically. Posted by: Lizzy at July 01, 2026 10:42 AM (X8xt3) 210

Looking up the Tomb of Daniel. It's wild.
Apparently they had two communities on either side of the Choaspes river so the poor side, which didn't have the tomb, got a deal to carry Daniel's corpse over to that side every other year to partake in his blessings. The Seljuks when they conquered Susa decided this was silly and disrespectful, so they put his body on the bridge. Anyway so the original tomb is who-knows-what-or-where. AOP's question still stands. I try to be at least somewhat of a God fearing person, but honestly I can't fathom that God would be a stickler about bombing the crap out of a pile of rocks and lumber that maybe once long ago was a church or a temple, but has been defiled by goatfucking death cultists for centuries since, *especially* if that straining at gnats over purity and protocol means *not* killing the motherfuckers who seek to prey on His flock, and defile His houses of worship towards that very end.
Wherever two or more goatfuckers are gathered against His name, it ain't a church anymore. So let 'er rip. This isn't a Highlander movie. Posted by: Warai-otoko at July 01, 2026 11:06 AM (Ot/FD) 257
