Two new defendants charged in alleged White House UFC mass-casualty attack plot
Jordan W Rincker allegedly transferred a shotgun and funneled cash to co-defendants who planned to storm the White House

The FBI has identified two additional suspects in the alleged plot targeting the UFC Freedom 250 event in Washington, D.C., bringing the total number of publicly identified defendants to seven.
Newly unsealed court records identify Missouri resident Jordan W. Rincker and Washington state resident William Lee Spartacus Falkner as alleged members of the conspiracy. Prosecutors say Rincker allegedly helped fund and facilitate the operation, while Falkner allegedly discussed procuring and operating drones intended for use in the attack.

Court records also allege he exchanged messages about drone payloads, anti-jamming measures, fiber optics controls and the number of drones needed to carry out the attack.
The complaint alleges Falkner claimed he could obtain drones capable of carrying heavy explosive payloads and discussed coordinating their acquisition with other members of the group.

In his lengthy text, which our Investigative Bureau was able to review, he laments "the state of affairs regarding young people (roughly under the age of 30) living in highly developed Western countries."
He decries the plight of the majority of men, whom he calls "ordinary men." He contrasts them with a small number of "brutes"--men supposedly preferred by women due to their attractive physiques. The individual who donned a military uniform at the time of the act is nostalgic for a society founded on traditional values.

Although a lot of this incel's manifesto appears left-wing, you can also see some echoes of the Left-Right Fusion of the Extremes that Tuq'r Qarlson and Cavernous Nostrils are trying to create. Among other unacceptable remarks, he claims they have also "abandoned all or most efforts to be attractive" -- not to mention the refusal of some to have children.
"For the average man, the closest thing to intimacy he is entitled to is usually watching internet pornography on his phone screen, in the darkness of his bedroom, late at night," he writes.

To all appearances the main cause seems to be women being unwilling or uninterested in pairing off with people who are actually their peers. There also may be a bit of an urban/rural divide where women crowd into cities. Then there's the issue of women who are college educated in poor paying careers looking down on tradesmen. Elevated self-evaluation of attractiveness and social status essentially.

None of the 8 mentioned above are urban. They vary from suburban to rural, from NJ to Maryland to North Carolina. If I'm not mistaken, all of them met on dating apps. There are apps designed for people looking for something serious.

I think the perception is as you describe, because that's what eats up the attention and gets likes on social media. But I think the reality is much better for the normal guys and gals of the world.

I had brothers and lots of male friends from childhood through college. I played sports (tennis, basketball, swimming, shot pool) and partied and drank a lot of beer. I had fun and was not dating any of them. I know men as friends. Perhaps that is key?

There was also no social media putting scary stories about men so I was oblivious and could take care of myself. Or I had boys around me who wouldn't let anything happen to me at concerts or hiking.

It's not the Pythagorean theorem or a rule book. Or it wasn't in simpler times before dating apps and tic tok.

In Mass this past week I saw two handsome post college age men, alone. No wedding rings because I checked. If I had a daughter who was floundering around with insanity I'd send her to church vs a bar to meet people.

I will leave a letter to my granddaughters to not settle, to not follow the crowd, to remain special and content.

There's plenty of blame to go around on this one.

The (female) cop was unaware of her surroundings. She should have known who was on the other side of that planter.
The civilian was stupid. Never said a word, doesn't cut out diagonally away from the shooter, stays close to the barrier for no apparent reason (he had stood up, he wasn't trying to keep the planter between himself and the shooter).
Except for not being aware, the cop is blameless. I'm in the middle of a firefight and some clown pops up behind me, I'm going to cap his ass, too.
