Thune: Some "Republican" Senators Hate Trump Too Much to Protect the Integrity of Federal Elections and Do What Their Constituents Elected Them to Do

Conservatives and normies have two main complaints about RINOs. They are highly-interrelated and mutually reinforcing.

1, Although almost all senators are absurd puffed-up egotists, RINOs in particular believe they exist to instruct, scold, discipline, and guide their voters, who they consider their inferiors. We elect them to be our Servants, but they conceive themselves as our Masters.

2, Conservatives and true patriots understand that they are fighting a political war on two fronts: the external one, against the nominal Democrat Party and all of its satellites and proxies, including the media, the universities, and NGOs, and the must more insidious internal opposition -- liberal "Republicans" who see their role as a necessary check on the wild demands of crazy and racist Republicans. In every single battle, we know we march with half of "our party" siding with the enemy, passing them information secretly, and ready to defect to them at a moment's notice.

RINOs hate us for calling them RINOs. They claim it's a lie and a slur.

But at every turn, they prove us to be 100% correct about them. They are liars and, worse yet, traitors. Traitors who think they're patriots for selling out the "wrong side" to help "the right side of history."

When a leftist tells you you're lying about DEI discriminating against white males, they of course don't really mean you're lying about the facts. They mean you're "lying" about the valence of the facts, the perception of the facts -- they think you should agree that discriminating against white males is a good thing, but because you don't agree and because admitting that would be politically disadvantageous, they claim you're lying about the simple fact of it.

Similarly, RINOs know that what we say about them is actually true. But they're liberals -- when they say something is "false," what they really mean is Yes it's true you Racists, but it's a good thing. You need us to restrain your unsophisticated, hick Racist urges. We're providing you with a valuable service (against your wishes) and you should be thankful for it."

But they're unfathomably arrogant and twisted liars and so will never concede that what we have here is a dispute. They will never admit there is a dispute. They will claim they're on our side for years and years.

And then, when it's time to vote -- Fooled you, Racist Chumps! We were against you the whole time!

Yes we know. We've said that all along.

EXCLUSIVE: Thune Admits Some Senate Republicans Hate Trump Too Much To Support SAVE America Act

Senate Majority Leader John Thune admitted some Senate Republicans hate President Donald Trump too much to support the SAVE America Act, multiple sources familiar with the comments told the Daily Caller.

Thune admitted during a closed-door GOP lunch on Wednesday that some Republican senators oppose President Donald Trump so strongly that they will never vote for the SAVE America Act, regardless of the legislation's merits, according to several sources familiar with the matter.

The discussion quickly escalated into a heated exchange between Republican Utah Sen. Mike Lee, the bill's chief Senate sponsor, and several of his GOP colleagues. Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn and Thune both challenged Lee's push for the legislation, according to a source familiar with the meeting.

"Yeah, that totally happened," a source familiar with the matter told the Daily Caller.

Still, the Majority Leader's office denies the admission. "This is a baseless claim, and it is unequivocally untrue," a spokesperson for Thune told the Daily Caller.

Fuck you, liar.

This is another criticism that is obviously true: They are egotistical and petty. They claim to be "statesmen" who are horrified by Trump's "incivility," but Trump actually states what his positions really are. And when he opposes you, he opposes you publicly.

These cowardly faggots scheme in the dark and call themselves "civil" for their sabotage and backstabbing. Everybody hates a coward, and everybody hates a traitor even more.

9 It'll be interesting to see if the hidden antagonists come out of the woodwork after their scapegoats of Mitch, Tillis, Cassidy, and Cornyn (and Ernst, to be honest) are out of the Senate next year.

They probably hope desperately for a 51 seat majority so they can offer up Murkowski and one other (UT senator not Lee, perhaps) as the reason they can't do anything.

I'm holding out some mild hope for a surprise 55 seat majority, without the aforementioned five.

19 The reason some RINOs don't want it is because it will elect more of those icky conservatives to congress. They don't care about a majority or doing anything productive, just their own placement.

Applied to RINOs it might go: “Win elections??!! You talking winning??!! I just hope to collect another campaign check.”

That's exactly how leftwing Democraps think. It's not a coincidence. RINOs are leftwing Democraps. They just hide their political perversion to con the rubes. And sadly, the RINO rope-a-dope has worked all too well for a very long time. I think that's changing or at least starting to change. But time will tell.

And one of the really annoying things about that to them must be that many of his positions match their lies. It’s amazing to me how petty and small some of their lies are. Who would have voted differently because a politician doesn’t make moving the United States embassy to Jerusalem a campaign plank? How long did they plan to keep that in without being called on it?

It’s as if they lie not because it’s in the service of some greater good, but because it’s their nature.

I've asserted for a while that the SAVE Act has a better chance next year than this year for a while.

And it has everything to do with the fact that Thune, assuming he wants the Act passed which is mere assumption for the sake of argument, has nothing on a clear number of senators to influence them one way or the other.

Replacing those five (hopefully we get Whatley to replace Tillis instead of Cooper) will do more for the direction of the Senate than any strings Thune can pull.

The problem isn't leadership. It's the senators themselves.

They are against SAVE because they are being paid to stop any reforms like this from going through

But you know what? If I was Lee I'd rewrite the legislation with some minor changes and call it, "The Donald Trump is a big meanie but I want ballot integrity Act"

Because Trump isn't the issue--the issue is the issue.

190 This column I rank as "mostly true".

Part of the issue is that the conservative right envision themselves as the normative voice of the right, but perhaps that isn't true.

It's not as if Lindsay Graham hasn't been primaryed, and yet his constituents re-elect him. McConnell and others as well.

And for the most part, when polled most Republicans will say they agree with the conservative right. But when it comes to conforming their actions and their votes to these principals as disconnect.

Anecdotally, I know a roofer with MAGA stickers all over his truck. And yet every single employee that showed up to roof my house were ESL Mexicans.

Perhaps it's simply a case of RINO politicians representing their RINO constituents.

The system rewards him for hiring illegals - he gets more money in his pocket by doing so.

If you want to fix things you have to make the system reward the things you want and punish those you don't.

Yes this is the opposite of the traditional GOPer argument that they can't pass a law against X until they change hearts and minds or some shit first. But this is the opposite of true. Ban it and many people will embrace what the law says as their morality and more will follow it because they want rewards and not punishment.

So to go back to your specific example if we ever did get around to penalizing business owners personally for hiring illegals this guy would stop but nothing else will make him do so.

Russian oil is at least theoretically still embargoed and still being sold all over the world under the table.

And a bit of flame retardant work and that tank and most of its oil will be ready to be sold. Its pretty hard to damage oil installations, WWII showed that. Makes a pretty picture though.

And to return to this topic, any American in say 1956 given a vision of America in 2026 would be shocked and horrified. Right, left, center...trannies twerking for kids? Mass immigration of jihadis? Endless graft going to Somali Learing centers?

So Buckley FAILED. He stopped NOTHING. In fact he failed in ways that people of his era couldn't even have imagined us failing in...Posted by: 18-1 at June 18, 2026 03:32 PM (sKqQm)

I completely disagree. Yes, NR is but a RINO husk of its former self, at best. I personally can't believe that all the writers that I followed back in the 90s (with the exception of Derbyshire and Steyn) went over to the Dark Side, but that said Buckley was a giant of the conservative movement. The only one who offered any competition for him back in the 50s was probably Russell Kirk, and he was a writer, not a talker. From Firing Line, to running for NYC mayor in the 60s, and so on, he was the only figure until Rush who could have been the face of The Right.

I largely agree with that - WFB was about as Establishment as you could get. However, there was no movement before Buckley, and of the group that was around only WFB had the gift of organization - as chaotic as it turned out to be, almost from the very beginning. Rush and the movement we have now had to be built on some foundation, and Buckley was it. I'm not sure that we could have had Reagan without Buckley.

Now, he did outlive his usefulness. The success of NR made him the gatekeeper of the movement, which ended to its detriment. His son Spaulding -- oops, Christopher - was not equipped for the next generation of the movement, as well. However, no single person had WFB's talents, and he was the right man for that time.

Typically, when people talk of other people's "unacceptable" views, they talk of other people holding such views, largely because people are incapable of looking at the world through the lens of other people's mindset. That is a rare skill, IMO.

Meet Pervez Siddiqui, a Pakistani and the president of an adult day care in NYC. He was just arrested and charged for allegedly carrying out a $38 MILLION Medicaid scam.

Siddiqui allegedly faked sign-ups in order to receive kickbacks through Medicaid payments.

Siddiqui was reportedly prominent in Democrat circles, per NYP

7 other co-conspirators were also arrested.

The fraud never ends.

Eh, Bo Derek was married to midlevel actor/director John Derek.

So, she was part of the in-crowd. Easy for her to get the part in "10" because she was a beautiful, sexy gal with a knockout body.

And that's all "10" required of her since she was a sex fantasy object for Dudley Moore's character.

She had maybe 20 lines in that movie.

Anyway, after that she failed more or less because-

-though she had great tits, they weren't attached to a great actress.
