The Trump Administration Announces First (of Many) Foreign Criminals to be De-Naturalized and Deported

I call them "foreign," which they are, though they've all defrauded the US into granting them citizenship.

The Trump administration on Monday announced it is seeking to revoke the citizenship of 17 U.S. citizens accused of immigration fraud, expanding its unprecedented denaturalization campaign.

CBS News exclusively reported about the plans before they were unveiled by the Justice Department.

Officials said the move represents the largest-ever effort by the U.S. government to use its denaturalization powers, which were rarely invoked before President Trump returned to the White House last year with promises to launch a historic deportation blitz. Between 1990 and 2017, the Justice Department filed an average of just 11 legal complaints per year seeking to denaturalize American citizens, historical figures indicate.

Federal law has long allowed the government to try to denaturalize foreign-born U.S. citizens who officials believe committed fraud to obtain their citizenship, such as by concealing information, like criminal conduct, on their immigration applications. But the process has been historically lengthy, complex and seldom exercised, requiring officials to persuade judges to strip naturalized citizens of their citizenship in civil or criminal proceedings in federal court.

The Trump administration has sought to vastly escalate denaturalization efforts as part of its larger crackdown on illegal and legal immigration. In 2025, the Justice Department broadened the categories of naturalized citizens who should be prioritized for denaturalization. Last month, officials announced a dozen denaturalization cases, at the time the largest such effort in years.

Some of the 17 citizens targeted in the latest denaturalization campaign were convicted of violent or serious crimes, including sex offenses against children. Others were convicted of fraud crimes or accused of committing immigration fraud.

In federal court complaints filed across the country in recent days, Justice Department officials argued that the individuals concealed their criminal activity when they applied for U.S. citizenship or were otherwise ineligible to be naturalized, including because they lacked a "good moral character," one of the requirements in the naturalization process.

Those targeted in the latest round of denaturalization cases include a Haitian immigrant who allegedly sexually abused his daughter; a man from the former Yugoslavia convicted of sexually abusing a child under the age of 15; an immigrant from Mexico convicted of receiving sexually explicit images of minors; a former Catholic priest born in Colombia accused of child sex abuse; and a Filipino-born man who pleaded guilty to a child sex crime.

The group also includes an Indian immigrant accused of filing fraudulent H-1B visa petitions; the daughter of a Colombian drug trafficker accused of money laundering; a man born in Jamaica convicted of wire fraud; and a Cuban-born woman accused of defrauding a tribal casino. Other naturalized citizens were accused of using false identities.

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the Justice Department would have "zero tolerance" for abuse of the naturalization process.

"Criminal aliens are lying about their past crimes, including drug dealers, sexual predators, and fraudsters," Blanche said.

35 Wow! An unprecedented number of de-naturalizations! And then you look at the number. 17. 17. No, there's no missing digits. Sure, that's a higher than the annual average of 11, but when you're at that kind of level, it's easy to portray any difference as a sizeable increase or decrease.

And yes, 17 this month is on top of 12 last month. But we aren't talking about thousands of cases each month. We'll be lucky to reach 100 in a full year.

(I realize that to build a case like this, you can't do hundreds or thousands at a time because all paperwork has to be unique and specific to the case at hand. So I'll give the administration a break, but not the fear-mongers who have no sense of proportionality.)

Some gayass shit from some anti-war Vietnam vets, all "make love not war" type shit.

But what has them pissed is there was some obscure quote from some letter of some colonial about how we must welcome any and all who wanted to come.

Yeah, basically the source for their Magical Soil Theory.

Moral of the story though:
Go to monuments and historical sites now.
If you see any dipshit leftie BS--report it. Make a stink.

83 The Indian government recently admitted that there is a MASSIVE fraud operation that has been going on for the last decade in that country. There are organized crime syndicates that are forging credentials and diplomas (right down to the watermark). The Indian government estimates that there are over 1 Million Indians who used this fraud service to secure foreign VISAs including H-1b VISAs to the US.

The reason they had to admit this is because the Ministry of Law in India required all practicing lawyers in that country to submit their credentials for review and over 40% outright refused.

116 Sarah J Fields - Karmelo Anthony Trial
I’m going to be honest: the defense was abysmal.
The few witnesses called to the stand today either could not remember key details or simply did not see what actually happened. Their testimony was thoroughly challenged during cross-examination by Bill Wirsky. The defense presented no additional evidence beyond witnesses who were unable to confirm the long-standing claim that Karmelo Anthony was “attacked” - a claim that has circulated since the beginning of this case.
There were also persistent rumors that the Metcalf brothers were “bullies.” No evidence was presented to support those claims. In fact, the testimony painted a very different picture. More than 20 witnesses called by the prosecution consistently described Austin and Hunter as leaders, role models, “their brothers”.
Closing arguments are tomorrow morning. After that, the jury will begin deliberations. Judge Roach has informed the jurors that they will be sequestered during deliberations. If they do not reach a verdict by the end of the day, they will be housed in a hotel and isolated from outside communication until deliberations are complete.

119 I do not foresee this jury taking more than a day to reach a verdict.
During jury selection, the prospective jurors were educated on several important aspects of Texas law regarding self-defense.
First, murder under Texas law involves intentionally or knowingly causing the death of another person. Contrary to what many people believe, Texas law does not require the state to prove premeditation in order to secure a murder conviction.
Jurors were also told that words alone do not justify the use of deadly force. Additionally, a person cannot provoke a confrontation, escalate it, and then successfully claim self-defense after using deadly force.
I will be posting a full video later today with a detailed account of everything that occurred inside the courtroom.

This lady has been doing yoeman's work on reporting. If anyone wants to look her up on Facebook and follow the trial.

Technically, no. But practically, yes. A critical element of self defense is that the defendant have a reasonable fear for his life. Prosecutor says ‘no he didn’t and here’s why.’ Jury hears it. Defendant refuses to take the stand to say ‘yes I did and here’s why.’ That’s a slam-dunk for the prosecution, in any normal case. The question is whether this case is normal.

Plus he was not even supposed to be at the track meet that day because he was suspended from the team for bringing a knife to school just a few weeks before this happened. And he was asked to leave the opposing team's tent at least 15 times according to a dozen witnesses before the stabbing occurred. And the kid he killed told him he was not going to fight him.

172 Technically, no.

Right, so the prosecution has to give the jury enough to pass reasonable doubt that he acted as if he was in fear for his life.

The only thing we have from Anthony at the time is "touch", if Anthony anticipated a "touch", it's not a strong case that this could be construed to be fear for his life.

Perhaps "Don't touch me!" could be construed that way. But "Touch me and see" sounds like somebody trying to command the situation, not simply preserve life.

"Touch me and see" actually sounds a lot like somebody who could have walked away at that point, but obviously did not, because he wanted to stay and "demonstrate".

198 Possibility of Manslaughter as a Lesser Included Offense?

(AI Overview): While the grand jury indicted him on murder, juries in Texas can sometimes consider lesser charges like manslaughter (recklessly causing death) during deliberations. If the jury rejects the murder charge but does not fully acquit on self-defense, it is possible for a conviction of a lesser charge, but it relies on specific instructions from the judge.

I'm not sure you get to stab another kid in the chest if there isn't evidence that he didn't assault you .. legal definition of it - intentional act creating reas fear of imminent harmful physical contact: "Now I'm gonna kill your ass" . . . "You are dead MFer!" Or Cocking a fist, pulling a weapon. I don't know the deets, but it sounded like Harmelo was the one who pulled the weapon. Did the other kid shove him first? Or threaten to kick his ass? Make any kind of contact at all? Slap fight? Its weak defense. Not impossible. Was the other kid a lot bigger/Older? Known history of violence?
