John Thune Declares: I Demand a Well-Funded MAGA Primary Opponent In 2028 and I'm Going to Stamp My Little Feeties and Hold My Breath Until I Get It!

You got it, Princess.

Bill Melugin
@BillMelugin_

CBP/ICE funding bill will not be on President Trump's desk by June 1st, as he had said he wanted.

Senate going home. Bad vibes on the Hill today.

Supposedly this is over his pique at the weaponization compensation fund, but, as with Thomas Massie discovering the Epstein files for the first time weeks after Trump called for him to be replaced -- that's creating a fictional "policy" cover because the power-politics "I'm in charge" gripe is too petty to be admitted.

Julie Kelly 🇺🇸
@julie_kelly2

2h

So Thune and company having a temper tantrum over Trump's Paxton endorsement so he's using the weaponization fund as an excuse to once again not do his job.

Senate leadership is an absolute disgrace and every single one should be replaced.

13 I’m gonna try to be fair. It was a stupid idea to throw that fund into the mix at this point. The senate was ready to push a vote on the bill.

A bit of scrutiny on that fund would be good. In fact it’s the senate doing the job we asked them to do.

Yet into the mix we throw a huge money pot with no published rules or guidelines for access. And we all know how well that goes when the government throws a find out there without some understanding of how it will be spent. Nobody in the senate understood the fund. It’s why the AAG was on the Hill.

Wrong. Your good friends are dying out or being pushed out by Marxists who want you and your families dead. Your only hope is try and cut the size of government along with Trump. That and hope the Dems immolate themselves

It will be nothing short of a miracle if I pack well and make the flight on Saturday. I plan a nap on the plane, and am not eating the breakfast they offer as that's the last thing I need to start a trip.

I am also behind in productivity. Even more behind than normal procrastination. My husband has said it does not matter so I will do the best I can.

It used to be when I went out of town the house was super clean in the event the plane crashed and my MIL had to help clean out our stuff. Now she's dead and I am slacking, but still like to come home to a clean house. Full of woe and the wrong day.

Behind in gardening for two weeks. I am currently soaking ranuculus corms and telling you Morons to see what you make of this. It sounds like I am soaking corns on my feet, which I have never had and nor do I soak my feet. It sound kinky, though.

Note this would be space-only. You couldn't use that to get out of earth's gravity well. With exhaust velocities at 10% c, it would be like setting a tactical nuke at the launch pad. Actually, a continuous nuke. It would blow up everything, including the rocket, real good.

And even in space, you wouldn't want to be looking up the ass end of that thing. IIRC, minimum safe distance in the light of sight to the ass end would be maybe 100 km or something.

It went horribly because he was put into a position of explaining a program that exists only in title and a pot of allocated money. That’s untenable. There are usually weeks of discussion and something on paper that senators can look at and question. None of that is available. Zero. If I’m a senator I’m not signing off on that.

79 Trump's next move might be interesting. He has a tendency to collect leverage or manufacture it. Not sure what skeletons are hanging out there on Thune, but McConnell is a pretty easy one. Start threatening to look a little more closely at his extended family's connections to China and the CCP.

Relative to Thune, I think I'd do an advertising deluge of the fact that he's never worked in the private sector in his life...and is your stereotypical polician who could care less about the average conservative. Everything Trump does includes a prep time acquiring leverage. I can't imagine he left Thune off that list.

Former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander (D) is leading incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman (N.Y.) in the Democratic primary for New York’s 10th District by more than 20 points, according to a new survey.

In the Emerson College Polling/PIX 11 poll, 56.6 percent of respondents said they would back Lander while 23.1 percent said they support Goldman and 20.3 percent were undecided.

The constant 1g thrust trajectory is very passenger friendly. You've got earth gravity the whole time (until the midway turning point, where you have to shut off, turn around, and then decelerate at 1g). Makes things like space-toilets no problem (but have to be careful at that turning point).

The other little engineering and materials problem is on the journeys to the outer planets, like Uranus, your peak speed in between is going to get a bit high. Space dust and little particles are going to be problem colliding with you. Charged particles would be no problem. You've got a big ass EM field for your "pusher plate", so you can make your own magnetic shield. It's the neutral dust that would be a problem.

157 127 A controversial game called Plantation Simulator has been released on Steam and is receiving huge backlash from people calling it a slavery simulator.

The game is described on Steam as a simple farming simulator where players motivate workers to work on a plantation.

But the gameplay centers on a whipping mechanic applied to Black workers to increase productivity.

The developer has described it as:
“In this game, you will be whipping black people to keep your farm productive. If you whip your black person too much, they will die.”

Holy hell!

I have sympathy for this position. But it requires I believe that Thune's reaction and the sudden concern about details is honestly arrived at.

Thune made a deal on the Save Act to save Cornyn. Thune broke the deal and figured Trump couldn't do anything about it
but accept it and see how the race in Texas played out. But despite a huge spending advantage Paxton appears to be in good shape there, so Trump decided its never a bad time to back a winner and also to stick it to Thune who broke his promise.

So now Thune is all butthurt and has decided we will feign fiscal concern, and give the Blanche a hard time.

For me to be with you I must believe that Thune is someone he is not. And I cannot do that. Thune would do well to realize what happened in Georgia Tuesday - Trump ripped the GOPe out of the Georgia GOP. The same can be done in South Dakota for a fraction of the cost.

I was simply naive in that dept by the time I met my bf/husband at 22yrs. I liked guys but there was nothing til college that struck me as mutual. I dated a few times & done. Four guys before my husband in college & for two of them once or twice.

One guy on our second date ended quickly because I blew up a gas oven trying to make dinner. That was no mystery as to why I never heard from him again.

I had great self-esteem but never liked anyone til a guy I met a year before my future husband. Lightning strike.

He unfortunately died of a rare cancer months later, before anything serious. I was working in the university health center. The FIRST time I felt like going out with someone and realizing I was not abnormal, and he felt ok when we met.

I knew whe he died but didn't see him after he was diagnosed. His decision,of which I am now thankful as I was starting nursing school in the middle of this.

There really is mutual chemistry sometimes. It hit me twice.
