Trump Is Booting Illegal Aliens Out of Taxpayer-Funded Welfare Housing and I Am Here For It

Home prices are squeezing American family budgets. The median home price is up 60% since 2019, now five times the median household income. The country is short more than 4 million homes, and a record 22.6 million renter households are spending more than 30% of their income on rent. Housing costs have risen another 14% in just the last two years.
While Americans are fighting for a place to call home, a recent Department of Housing and Urban Development and Department of Homeland Security investigation revealed major eligibility errors in HUD housing programs. HUD found nearly 6,000 confirmed ineligible tenants, and another 200,000 more tenants who have gone through zero eligibility verification. In addition, HUD identified 25,000 deceased tenants still living in taxpayer-funded housing units. These aren't likely empty units. Someone is wrongly receiving this benefit.

You'll be shocked to hear this, but Congress passed laws to restrict public housing to US citizens, but were conning the rubes as usual. On paper, illegal aliens weren't allowed.

In reality -- no one bothered checking, so illegal aliens were allowed.

But the rubes didn't know so the rubes couldn't complain.

Federal law is clear: Section 214 of the Housing and Community Development Act limits HUD housing assistance to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens. In addition, the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996 prohibits public welfare benefits from going to illegal aliens and requires HUD housing programs to verify immigration status at the point of application, now a nearly instantaneous process through the SAVE program. Yet HUD rules have systematically avoided this verification until now.
Instead of using the existing Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) program, HUD created two workarounds. The first is the "do not contend" provision, under which a tenant declares they do not contend their non-citizen status and receives prorated assistance anyway. This is blatantly illegal. The second workaround is an age exemption HUD fabricated 15 years ago under the Obama administration. Current regulations exempt anyone 62 or older from verification, but this has no basis in federal law.
It turns out, in contrast to federal law, the federal government has been incentivizing illegal immigration by offering taxpayer-subsidized housing along with other welfare programs by not using any verification to ensure benefits are going to only eligible individuals. Hundreds of thousands of tenants, including able-bodied adults, have spent years, even decades, in federally subsidized units still needing eligibility checks. This is exactly what has been prohibited for 30 years, and it's part of what's driving up housing prices today.

Thanks to President Trump and HUD Secretary Scott Turner, every housing authority in the country must finally verify eligibility. This is a strong step towards restoring public trust in HUD housing. For the first time, the system Congress mandated will be employed.

Trump is sending the illegals back home and limiting illegals' access to loans and banking services.

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing banks to more aggressively scrutinize illegal immigrants, closing a fiscal fence around American taxpayer interests and resources, and likely further incentivizing self-deportations.
"80% of voters believe that illegal immigration is bad for America, and by the way, the flip side of it is 80% believe that legal immigration is good for America," veteran pollster Scott Rasmussen told Just The News.
Trump's Tuesday order, titled "Restoring Integrity to America's Financial System", directs federal regulators and the Treasury to issue guidance strengthening banks' customer due diligence, identify red flags/suspicious activity linked to undocumented immigrants (such as Individual Taxpayer Identification Number misuse, payroll tax evasion, or off-the-books wages), and manage credit risks from extending loans or services to non-work-authorized individuals who may face deportation or wage loss.

On limiting illegal immigrants' access to banking and financial products, the administration's stated goal is to reduce risks to the banking system -- such as people getting deported and then defaulting on loans or credit cards.
Banks are now encouraged by the Trump administration to be more careful with loans and services to those without work authorization, but the order does not require them to check every customer's citizenship status.

Meanwhile, the DOJ just hired 80 new immigration judges to speed up the pace of deportations.

"The Trump administration is committed to reestablishing an immigration judge corps that is dedicated to restoring the rule to the law in our nation's immigration system," acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement. "Today, we are onboarding the largest immigration judge class in agency history. This could only happen thanks to President Trump's decisive leadership and commitment to securing our borders. I also applaud EOIR's leadership team for helping facilitate these hiring efforts and recruiting highly qualified and talented personnel in record time."
Trump campaigned on a promise of mass deportations, but has faced considerable legal pushback to his efforts to speedily remove large numbers of people from the country. The DHS has estimated that as many as 22 million illegal aliens were in the country when Trump took office.

"Immigration judges" aren't judges,. They are DOJ employees tasked with judicial duties in minor matters.such as immigration hearings. "Immigration judges" serve at the pleasure of POTUS, and can be banished back to the DOJ salt mines any time.

This is significant because it means the next DEM President can make all of Trump's "immigration judges" disappear in a puff of smoke.

Cash their SS check
Stay in their elderly housing
Stay in their rent stabilized apartment
Use their handicapped card

Holland apparently has a cap on how much one can work, which limits what one can earn. This along with the new housing being handed out to the "new citizens" preferentially means that all the housing is priced out of the range of the lower middle class and below, and a lot of the upper earning types as well.

No, they're not.

The acts that created the administrative positions of immigration judge are explicit in saying that Article III judges have no jurisdiction.

What defendants can try is habeus petitions, but the administration jets almost every deportee to the 5th Circuit as soon as they're picked up. The 5th denies 95% of all habeus petitions (which are expensive to file and argue, by the way), and they get deported after having dropped $10,000 on a lawyer.

I liked counselling because any twenty minute session was pretty much the same issues as any other twenty minute session. Eventually I figured out I knew the problem and the techniques to resolve them, and I even knew the objections I was going to bring to argue why any solution was impossible.

Getting out of debt is hard, but for most people it is not complicated. You want complicated, go to AA or NA

The “media” and public education has left recent generations almost wholly unable to make cause and effect type comparisons. They advocate for “open borders” yet complain they only make $16 an hour, and can’t afford food, rent, a car, insurance, or anything else.

I was talking recently to an acquaintance who used to handle voter fraud cases when he served as a DA in a midsized city (in clarification, he's conservative). He told me why there are so many dead people on the voter roles. It's NOT just for a single vote. What the fraudsters do is take that individual's address and use apartment numbers so that (sometimes) hundreds of people can illegally register at the same address. Most using that singular address by adding a Apt. # are non-existent, and moles working the precinct will fill out the ballot, process it, and quickly 'misplace" it. However, some of these voters are illegal immigrants with doctored ID based on crib death babies who were given an SS #. He says he has no doubt that the DNC is indirectly involved....but never found the direct attachment.

USPS parses each ZIP into a Route. They know exactly how many residences are in said route and type of residents. Via census they also know pop and ave incomes.
There are around 10 companies that will validate an address for less than a 5 cents.
You could validate the the addresses of a county like Harris county Texas for about $25k in about 60 seconds.

I actually did some math on average home prices, and prices for things like food and clothing indexed to the price of Silver for the last 80 years. I was looking at them against average wages - not salaries by the way.
On the whole, we do more with less than at the end of WWII, but we have been slipping on purchasing power. It is the problem of inflation which outstrips earnings in real terms, compliance costs we carry, and the enshittification of everything we buy so we can afford basics.
There is also the inflation problem, there is no safe place to store wealth any more, inflation eats it. There are no safe jobs anymore, everything is a gig now, you get fired for anything, AI, COVID shots, anything.
Dollars lose value, stocks are a casino, bonds are a ponzi scheme, and property is priced too high. Inflation destroys virtue, and it always has

225 221 this is called "briefcase" deportation. Trump is literally just enforcing the existing laws on the books.

This will deport 5X whatever the ICE can catch on the streets - you simply systematically remove all potential pathways to staying in the U.S. as an illegal - no job, no bank, no housing = no reason to stay or come here.

Offer the illegals $5k and a plane ticket - a huge fraction will self deport.

There was a study out of MN that showed that for every 1 ICE arrest, 6 people left the workforce.

The self-deportation to forced deportation ratio is somewhere between 3:1 and 6:1.

Forced deportations for the first year were about 1 million (all from the interior, which no administration has done before).

So, somewhere between 3 and 6 million left America in the first year of the Trump administration.

But if you count border turnaways, then Obama's numbers are better, or something.
