Republicans -- the Real Ones -- Win Big In Georgia, Sweeping the Suprme Court Races and Sending Raffensberger and His Grima Wormtounge Into Retirement

First, the two Supreme Court races:

OSZ
@OpenSourceZone

Republicans sweep and win both Supreme Court Elections in Georgia tonight

🔴 Charlie Bethel: 51.6% ✅
🔵 Miracle Rankin: 48.4%

🔴 Sarah Hawkins Warren: 59.7% ✅
🔵 Jen Jordan: 40.3%

(85% Reporting)

I saw Black Conservative Perspective crowing that when Republicans bother to vote in these non-presidential years -- which we've been pretty bad about lately -- we win.

On to Secretary of State and chief vote-counter Brad Raffensperger, the Democrat plant who insisted that there was not a single fraudulent vote cast in Georgia in 2020.

He attempted to illegally hide his counting of the votes from outside observers, but was ordered to allow observers in by a judge:

LindellTV
@RealLindellTV

May 19

🚨 BREAKING NEWS OUT OF GEORGIA: A Fulton County judge has officially ORDERED that Georgia State Election Board members be granted access to Brad Raffensperger's controversial "secret bunker" where statewide election results are aggregated.

The order, signed by Judge Earl Glanville, was filed this morning and marks a major victory for election transparency advocates after months of backlash over the locked-down facility being hidden from board members, candidates, and the public.

"There should be equal access and transparency for everyone." - @1stVCGAGOP

Grubbs also raised serious concerns about @GaSecofState allies allegedly having insider access to election operations while election integrity advocates and even board members were shut out.

She further accused Raffensperger of placing election workers in difficult legal territory by reportedly visiting county election offices while actively running for governor - citing Georgia election law restrictions on candidates being present around ballot processing operations.

"If Georgia's elections are truly the cleanest and most transparent in the country... why keep this place secret?"

Massive development in Georgia election oversight.

Update: Piper says the judge rescinded that TRO, so the secret vote counting is back on, at least unless he decides otherwise at an upcoming hearing.

Raffensperger was running to be the "Republican" candidate for governor.

Republicans rejected him like he was Tom Massie asking them if they're "swingers."

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger became the latest enemy of President Donald Trump's to lose a Republican primary on Tuesday.

Billionaire Rick Jackson and Lt. Gov. Burt Jones advanced to a runoff election for the GOP nomination for Georgia governor -- locking out Raffensperger, who rose to prominence defending Georgia's 2020 election results but struggled to gain traction among his party's increasingly MAGA base.

Raffensperger's defeat is another sign of Trump's grip on the GOP, following the president's wins ousting state Republican senators who clashed with him over redistricting in Indiana and Sen. Bill Cassidy's loss in Louisiana on Saturday.

But the runoff also prolongs an already rancorous and expensive primary by several weeks. Jackson, a political newcomer who entered the race late but quickly rose in the polls, and Jones, who boasts Trump's endorsement, are both courting the same MAGA voters.

raffenspergerloses.jpg

Raffensperger's hand-picked toadie Gabe Sterling was meanwhile running to fill his position as chief Democrat vote-rigger.

This is amazing:

Election Wizard
@ElectionWiz

Gabe Sterling (Raffensperger's right hand at the GA Secretary of State) just lost the GOP primary for the job. In 2020 he was on TV insisting there was NO fraud. Then it turned out someone had fraudulently voted using his own home address. Tonight MAGA returned the favor.

Students of physiognomy will be interested to learn that he looks like Karl Rove's jerksock came to life and developed gynecomastia.

This fat pile of old dusty cum was a apparently a star witness for the Pelosi/Cheney J6 committee, providing false claims about zero ballots being double-scanned (and counted twice).

Flopping Aces
@FloppingAces

Well, well, well... look what the hell just happened.

The GOP base didn't ask for permission from the consultant class, the donor overlords, the Senate fossils, or the New York Times editorial board before deciding they're done being treated like obedient little peasants.

Massie got the memo. McConnell's rotting machine got the memo. Raffensperger got the memo.

And that memo was written in giant, flaming primary-night letters:

"We're done carrying your worthless dead weight."

Of course the media is melting down, screeching "Trump crushes dissent!" ... because God forbid they admit Republican voters have spines, long memories, and a bullshit detector that's finally working overtime.

This wasn't a cult. This was a goddamn performance review.

Voters didn't send Republicans to Washington to play brave little mavericks and sabotage the only movement actually fighting back. They sent them to deliver.

The base isn't confused. It isn't hypnotized. And it sure as hell isn't asking for permission anymore.

It's cleaning house ... and taking no prisoners.

Hilarious how "democracy" becomes a terrifying threat the second Republican voters actually use it.

More from Flopping Aces about the base finally getting #Based here.

There's a bigger point here, and it's the precise opposite of the Times's witless frame. The Times ominously described the GOP having become "firmly in thrall" of a "cult of personality" dominated by a hypnotic former reality-TV star. But it's the exact opposite. It's pure representative government. Trump didn't purge the incumbents.

Primary voters purged the incumbents.

Think of this: Nearly 20% of the GOP-controlled Senate (up to ten Senators) will be replaced this year. That kind of political earthquake hasn't happened since at least 1980.

🔥 Trump can endorse whoever he wants and can rant on Truth Social all he wants, all day long. But Cassidy, Massie, Raffensperger, Indiana State lawmakers, John Cornyn, McConnell's protegé Whatshisname-- they didn't lose because Trump.

Cassidy didn't lose because Trump woke up one day and felt like purging him; he lost because Republicans never forgot his impeachment vote and were finally offered a viable alternative. Massie didn't lose because Trump hates his spirited personality; he lost because he kept voting against policies that the GOP base actually wants, and they decided they were done with the "Mr. No" show. Raffensperger didn't flame out because Trump's feelings were hurt; he flamed out because Republican voters believe he'd helped Joe Biden carry Georgia and then covered it up-- and this time, instead of watching him get promoted to governor, they snatched the promotion away.

This is not a cult of personality. These incumbents only lost their seats because actual Republican voters in their states decided that we want someone who will align with the president who we chose and his America First agenda.

It's really that simple. We don't want Congressmen to be slaves to Donald Trump. We want them to be slaves to the agenda. If that means supporting and defending the President, then just do it and quit whining about it. That's the distinction the Times tries to misinform readers about; it wants us to feel uneasy that Trump has become too powerful, so we don't realize how much power we have.

In other words, the Times's fake narrative is: reality‑TV star dominates a personality cult. That is a narrative designed to fracture conservatives. But the reality is, Republican primary voters finally figured out how to purge the RINOs.

The leftwing media is desperate to preserve the viability of RINO turncoats because RINO turncoats are the tools the Democrats use to keep conservatives out of power, eternally.

The media only pretends to hate most Republican politicians.

It doesn't really hate them-- because it knows they're all on the same side, deep down.

What the media really, viscerally hates is Republican voters, who cannot be bullied.

And who want some accountability.

This isn't revenge. It's a reckoning.

Okay I lied it's also revenge. But don't forget the reckoning part, which is important too.

As Flopping Aces said: It's a performance review, and it's time to cut the dead weight, layabouts, malingerers, and clock-punchers.

This is more Democrat jealousy.

They wish they had a party leader that could command this kind of voter loyalty.

Obama came close but even he had lost his touch to get fellow Dems elected by 2010.

Nearly every time they send Obama out his campaigning gets lackluster results.

Meanwhile, Trump is swatting his GOP enemies out left and right.

Losses: ~263
Overall Win Rate: ≈ 57.5%

88 Real disappointing results in this race. Definitely shits down any idea of a fully blue Georgia state government for the foreseeable future, despite strong performances in the gubernatorial election.

It looks like the GA Democratic Party didn’t know how to message who their candidates were before the election. Many dems in Atlanta’s metro voted on which name sounded the Blackest, which is how you end up with the Republican judge winning Harris +70 Clayton co.

Exactly. The Dems just lost these races not because the GOP did anything special but because Dem leadership was incompetent when it came to organizing.

One thing this election showed me was how out of step I am with the average primary voter. Every one of my candidates lost by massive margins.

94 I think Flopping Aces has a point. What most hurt Massie was not his sticking his finger in the eye of the biggest bully in American politics (AIPAC et al) but rather not being a team player when the time came to swallow the massive budget pill and fund ICE. Voting against funding ICE was unforgivable.

All those millions raised against him was not used to publicly debate US aid to Israel in Kentucky. It was used to attack his voting record and his character.

BTW, there has long been a rumor that the voting machine shenanigans in GA are controlled by a bipartisan elite. Not only kept Trump down but Tank Abrams out.

Even the mere question of impropriety was met with outrage and personal attacks.

And Ratshitburger was not just refusing to even look at those--he was denying they even exited--causing an exasperated Trump to say you can't even find 11k votes?

Okay, I haven't voted in every single election. Here are a a few reasons why.

I'm a Republican living in Texas. Conservative Republicans handed the state legislature a resounding victory for the GOP. Republicans in Austin responded by giving half of the committee chairmanships to Democrats. "Republican voter guides" routinely urge us to vote for staunch conservatives like, say, John Cornyn. Hey, didn't Chip Roy want to impeach Trump? Didn't he call MAGA voters "useless fucks?"

Democrats can pull the lever secure in the knowledge that whatever lunacy they're advocating will be promoted by anyone with a D next to their name. Republican voters can be assured that 65% of the people they vote for will immediately work to secure Democrat victories.

In supposedly conservative states, primaries are open, meaning they can be screwed with. In liberal states, primaries are closed.

Extensive fraud.
With a massive assist from the GA GOP as part of their deal that neither party will rat out the other's fraud.

But, others are noting, the GA Dem gov candidate is so bad, it's going to drag down the whole ticket.

Errockson was pissing and crying just days ago that the Dem supreme court early votes were proof--PROOF--that the Republicans are going to lose badly in November.

179 The GOP vote has carried a lot of this deadweight through multiple election cycles because the primaries didn't offer any real choice: the non-incumbents were just sock-puppets. In the general, the RINO incumbent was often just marginally better than the Dem runner.

We'll see if this theory plays out in the Paxton-Cornyn primary next week.

Texas, like many Southern states, shifted to the GOP gradually, and that meant than when the majorities shifted, the people in charge were the virtuous losers who spent their entire young lives in the minority and figured it wouldn't last so pad your pocketbook while you can.

Also people who worshipped "soccer moms" so figured you had to govern like Church Karen.

I've said a number of times around here that the GOP is not interested in governing. They are perfectly happy to be useless ticks that throw us a bone now and again if it means they get to stay in office as a second-tier party grifting off their donors.

Now they are seeing that we are no longer interested in keeping them there and are panicking.
