Unite the Kindom Rally Draws Tens of Thousands

Starmer-aligned police claim that around 60,000 showed up, but I don't believe them. It looks well in excess of 100,000 to me.

Bari Weiss' CBS News still calls it "far right" despite it being mainstream.

To the communist media, "far right" merely means "anti-leftwing extremist."

Police estimated that around 60,000 people attended the "Unite the Kingdom" march, making it one of the largest right-wing mobilizations seen in Britain in recent years, though smaller than a similar Robinson-led rally last September. Robinson is the founder of the nationalist and anti-Islamist English Defence League and is one of the most influential far-right figures in Britain.
Crowds carrying St. George's Cross and Union flags marched through central London chanting "we want Starmer out" and "Christ is King." Some wore red "Make England Great Again" hats, echoing President Trump's Make America Great Again movement.
People cited a range of reasons for attending, but many described feeling ignored by the government and alarmed by the direction of the country.
Christian imagery was highly visible throughout the demonstration. Protesters carried large wooden crosses, waved crucifixes and some dressed as Knights Templar. Chris Wickland, who described himself as a priest from the Confessing Anglican Church, told CBS News he was there "to represent Christianity," adding that "something is disappearing from our culture and from our nation ... and that was Christianity."

Good. I find that right-leaning political movements that are not leavened by Christianity tend to get weird and nasty.

Another man, draped in an Israeli flag, said he wanted to "bring back Judeo-Christian values to this nation." He said he was not Jewish or Israeli, but described himself as a British Protestant who believed Israel had "always been an ally to the United Kingdom."

There was also a visible Iranian opposition presence, with some demonstrators waving pre-revolutionary Iranian flags. One Iranian man told CBS News he was there to "stand against all people who want to tear down the country."
Speaking from a stage in Parliament Square, Robinson urged supporters to become politically active ahead of the next general election.
"If we don't send a message in our next election, if you don't register to vote, if you don't get involved, if you don't become activists, we are going to lose our country forever," he told the crowd.
Robinson also praised billionaire Elon Musk for his public support.
"None of this would have happened if it wasn't for one man. Thank you Elon, on behalf of Great Britain," Robinson said, prompting thousands in the crowd to chant "Elon."

It should be noted that the march was "mostly peaceful," and by "Mostly peaceful," I mean nearly 100% peaceful, despite Queer Starmer's attempt to gin up hatred and violence against the marchers, and incite the police to bust skulls. Police were praised for being professional -- perhaps they sense that Queer Starmer is weak and on his way out, and declined his open invitation to beat up his political opponents.

Queer is, reportedly, talking about resigning and claims to want an orderly transition. Frankly I've heard this before. He sounds like the IRGC pitching new "peace plans."

When I was a young deputy DA, I was assigned a careless resulting in death case concerning a young girl running a red light and striking a car containing an elderly couple. She took the stand and on cross-examination, I had three goals: 1) she had only recently begun to drive, 2) she was unfamiliar with the rather complex intersection, and 3) she may have been confused because there were green signs and such all over everywhere. I had just begun to question her when she burst into tears and it was obvious she felt guilty and deeply regretted the accident.

The jury deliberately for several hours and at great volume. (I could hear the yelling but couldn't make out the words.) Eventually they convicted her of careless driving but not resulting in death (which was contrary to reality). I thought I might have been wiser to forego cross entirely.

P.S. I'm so glad I don't have to make decisions affecting the lives of others anymore.

A McDonald’s employee in Massachusetts is now facing criminal charges after a viral video allegedly showed her putting fries in her mouth… then back into a customer’s order.

The incident happened at a McDonald’s on East Main Street in Southbridge.

In the video, the employee is seen grabbing a handful of fries, stuffing them into her mouth, and then dropping them back into the fry box while another worker laughs and records.

“So you want French fries today, right?” she says to the camera.

After the video spread online, both employees involved were fired.

Police and local health officials launched an investigation to determine whether the contaminated food was actually served to a customer and whether anyone may have been affected.

Authorities say the employee, whose name has not been publicly released, is expected to face criminal charges in Dudley District Court.

Police have not yet announced exactly what charges will be filed.
