Murkowski, Collins, and Paul Defect to the Democrats, As Usual, to Demand Trump Surrender to Iran

Boy that Rand Paul, what a Great Conservative Manlet.

Alaska's embarrassment, Senator "Princess" Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), has struck again. This time, she joined Republicans Susan Collins (R-ME) and Rand Paul (R-KY) in voting for a resolution to force President Trump to pull out our armed forces who are still poised, locked, loaded, and aimed at Iran. The good news is that the resolution still failed.

...

The resolution failed in part because of the Democrats' last sane Senator: John Fetterman (D-PA), who voted against the War Powers resolution. The administration is insisting that the cease-fire is, in effect, a reset button on the conflict's 60-day window.

Speaking of the odious Rand Paul: Rand Paul's son doesn't fall far from the Rand Paul, or Ron Paul, tree.

The adult son of Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) launched a vile antisemitic and homophobic tirade at Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) at a DC bar Tuesday night, saying at one point that the Iran war was "about the gays and the Jews, and I hate them both, and I don't care if they die."

In a phone conversation recounting the evening, Lawler told The Post that he was sitting at a popular DC bar with a friend and a reporter for NOTUS, which first revealed the incident involving William Paul.

"So Rand Paul's f--ing son is sitting next to us at the at the bar ... And he just like chimes in on our conversation, f--ing drunk and belligerent, and then starts going off about, you know, if [Rep. Thomas] Massie [R-Ky.] loses [his primary], it's because of my people," Lawler recalled.

"I'm like, 'What people?' He goes, 'Jews,' and I'm like, 'Do you think I'm Jewish? ... I'm Irish-Italian Catholic, buddy,'" the Hudson Valley lawmaker went on.

"He's like, 'Wait, you're not Jewish?'" Lawler recalled the younger Paul asking, to which the lawmaker said he replied: "And even if I was, what's the problem?"

"And then he got into the Middle East, and he was talking about, like, us trying to steal Iran's land for the Jews and steal the West Bank, and I'm like, 'What are you talking about?'"

At that point, William Paul said: "This war, it's all about the gays and the Jews, and I hate them both, and I don't care if they die."

...

...

"Last night, I had too much to drink and said some things that don't represent who I really am. I'm sorry and today I am seeking help for my drinking problem," William Paul posted on his X account Wednesday afternoon.

The senator's son previously pleaded guilty in 2015 to driving under the influence after smashing his Honda truck into a parked car and being found "belligerent" and with "a strong odor of alcohol," per the Lexington Herald-Leader.

Uh-huh.

He also apologized to Lawler... for calling him a Jew, when he wasn't a Jew at all.

New: Sen. Rand Paul's son drunkenly accosted and hurled anti-Semitic insults at Rep. Mike Lawler at a Capitol Hill bar on Tuesday night.

His son told Lawler that if Rep Thomas Massie loses, it's going to be because of "your people."

"My people?" Lawler asked Paul.

"Yeah, you Jews," Paul responded.

"Do you think I'm Jewish?" Lawler asked. "I'm not."

"Oh wow, I'm so sorry for calling you a Jew," Paul said.

He then said that Jews were "anti-American" and how Lawler and his "Jewish supporters" served Israel more than America.

I don't really care what this fat alcoholic Daddy Got Me a Job Nepo Baby Failure thinks -- but it is a very interesting look inside the "thinking" of the entire Paul family, and how they launder straight-up antisemitic hatred and support for Islamists though bullshit jive about "libertarians" being absolutist pacifists.

The female counterpart to Bob Dylan, folksinger and anti-war protester Joan Baez, was the last act on Friday evening. She started at about 1:00 am. Appropriately, she wished everybody a good morning. Her perfectly arranged set combined with her beautiful and skillful voice was a fine finish for a chaotic and exhausting first day. During her performance it was drizzling, and then after her she finished it started to rain heavily.

According to Star Fleet Archives, her set list in order:

“Oh Happy Day”
“The Last Thing on My Mind”
“I Shall Be Released”
“Story about how the Federal Marshals came to take David Harris into custody”
“No Expectations”
“Joe Hill”
“Sweet Sir Galahad”
“Hickory Wind”
“Drug Store Truck Driving Man” duet with Jeffrey Shurtleff
“I Live One Day at a Time”
“Take Me Back to the Sweet Sunny South”
“Let Me Wrap You In My Warm and Tender Love”
“Swing Low, Sweet Chariot”
“We Shall Overcome”

There is no detectable genetic difference from the people who call themselves "Palestinians" and the people who call themselves "Jordanians".

It's really that the politicos from Egypt kept a group of that people in "refugee" camps for decades, so it could remain a political issue. Both Arafat and Aziz were Egyptians. It's all about a non-Muslim country in the middle of Islam.

But Arafat and Aziz basically kept relatives of Jordanians from just going to live and assimilate to Jordan. After all, Islam couldn't have the "Right of Return" just whither away, as the number who could return dwindled.

Even famous "pacifists" weren't pacifists. That piss-drinker Gandhi was perfectly comfortable with violence, he volunteered as a stretcher-bearer during the Boer War, recruited Indian soldiers for Britain during WWI, and later on his whole strategy for Indian Independence was built on provoking violence from the Limeys, to shame them for beating down and killing "peaceful" Indians. Since the Limeys were somewhat civilized, the strategy worked because it attacked their self image. Looking this etymology up, the ancient Hebrew word was "Peleshet" and the Egyptian was "Peleset", both of which go back to around the 12th century BC. That went through Green and then Latin into some close to Palestine.

In the 2nd century AD, after the Roman destroyed the Temple, and exiled and slaughtered the Jews to put down the rebellion(s), they renamed the whole thing to "Syria Palaestina". That was pure spite to the Jews.

Don't know current election mechanics in PA but in a 3-way race it could be doable for Lurch, if the GOP candidate is sufficiently unimpressive.
