Sounds right to me. Biden's FBI didn't want to leave any evidence that might trace back to one of their buddies. We said it here on the blog a lot. Of course for Democrat voters whose worldview is that their party are the 'good guys' there is a lot of mental dissonance and a "it was staged" conspiracy is so much less jarring that the truth.

I think the problem is that it smells like a conspiracy, the way that all the evidence got dug up, the body got cremated without notice, and no evidence that there was a follow up investigation of the incident--and this has happened a number of time.
The entire media for the last 20 year loves to point out how much coverage and investigative power the Feds and local police have, there are television series about it, and then "no one knows nuthin"

I wash my hands of him and shake the dust from my shoes. I don't have a nephew now. There are tons just like him I know. Now that AI videos are getting really good, the hip kids are falling for the videos even harder than the boomers did. They don't have the real life experience to compare things they see to the likelihood of those things being real.

I tell him a fatal dose is somewhere around 8 to 12 tablespoons. I see it's a gastrointestinal irritant, a CNS depressant, and can cause pneumonitis if aspirated.
I tell him this. He tells me he trusts Dr Andrew Kaufmann. I ask him if he's sure he's not being pranked. Andy Kaufmann? Really? Like the comedian? He says no. I look this guy up. Apparently he's a real MD, but I'm skeptical. He tells me he'll text me later today, or maybe not.

My work had a snap meeting this morning to tell us nothing much. We have been under a contract for NOAA for data processing and that will most likely end in June of 2027. I guess our managers and other agencies that understand that we do great work and the in house group NOAA will use in our place, has not demonstrated they can do it as well talked them into that versus the original "we will switch at the end of August" plan.
I hate these very little news meetings. I suppose folks get wind of rumors that are worse than the facts and management needs to present the facts in response. But I don't grok why they can't just send an email.

I've played a WWII computer game in the Pacific. It's pretty hard to find places to park an airbase on to even see the enemy coming in places.

Leftism doesn't need to go back to actual religions to explain cancel culture, purity tests and purges. It's built in when asking people to believe stuff that makes no sense.

Puritan culture cross fertilized with Marxism explains the modern left in this country. And culture persist far longer than the actual necessity that created it in the first place. See the Arab world for example stuck in raiding patterns of Bedouins.
Leftist religion is based on a warped view of Christianity with Christ which is why there is no forgiveness in them nor pity or mercy. Heretics to them are disposable non people.
You see the same issues in the early Puritan colonies and back in Merrie Olde England to the extent that even Cromwell had to brush back those that wanted to go full leftist for their time (Levelers).
There is also why the Amish, Hutterites, and Mennonites are so peaceable, they are farming survivors where their most radical brethren were slaughter in Munster. Lutheran and Catholic princes united in Germany to stamp out those proto marxist leftists (community property and polygamy make for a weird mix).

There was certainly staging in the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. They had to develop the uranium bomb and the more complicated plutonium bomb. They had to separate isotopes for uranium and breed plutonium in reactors. They had to develop a bomber capable of lifting the bombs and delivering them to target. They had to get the bombs to a forward base within the range of that bomber’s ability to deliver and return. The pilots, bombadiers, navigators, and other crewmen had to be trained. There were a lot of stages!
