What's the name of that phobia where you get triggered by a large group of holes? I just got a dose of that and now you can too.

Dogs just want to help. If it involves carrying things around in their mouths like it's treasure, so much the better. Yup, anything involving grabbing things in their mouths and carrying them, they're Johnny On the Spot.

This is pretty much my deck. I've put out a freakin' smorgasbord for these dumb birds. (And squirrels.)

I had some ground beef that had just turned so I cooked that up and put it out for the crow. He loved it. He filled his mouth up four times and flew it back to the nest.

He still has not brought me a gift. But he also doesn't fly away when he sees me.

I hope it makes American Crow noises vs those crows in chy na. You don't want to offend your new friend, Ace. He/she seems content with you now.

Maybe use the kazoo in a park with strange crows first and see what happens?

Our finch now know my husband the bird man. They know he feeds them. When I start sitting on the front porch, as soon as these babies fly off, I'll probably get my eyes pecked out if she's planning a new brood. Apparently they are busy birds who mate frequently and not always for life.

I have this (aversion, not fear) and those ads were really hard. It’s hard to explain the feeling it invokes because it’s not really rational. The best way is if you looked at something that was gross, so much so you want to stop looking at it as soon as possible.

Like everyone else, Instructure is trying to get on top of the AI bubble. They have a beta AI-assistant embedded within the platform. Who knows what sort of vulnerabilities it has?

Found out why Dutch's show career looked so short based on the spreadsheet I made for him. I don't have two-thirds of the shows from 2014, where he was #1 Borzoi in Breed rankings, and none from 2015.

Worse, I doubt I can resurrect all the shows he appeared in but didn't get a ribbon, since in that case he wouldn't appear in the AKC's show results.

I had hoped Her Majesty still had her handwritten list in her daytimer but she says no, she only has Delilah's.

Our hospital system in Southern Ontario had 5 hospitals hacked and they didn't pay the ransom. It was a mess that kept on giving for months.

I think I had to take my late mother there once during that time and everything was paperwork.

I forgot what happens during this. There are supposed to be back-ups but yada, yada, yada. Not that simple.

And when they were mostly mathematically eliminated by week 8 or so, it was easy to not be a die-hard football fan.

I missed it, thinking it was today for some reason, but May 5th was the cross-quarter day, halfway between the spring equinox and summer solstice (halfway defined in terms of the sun's ecliptic longitude).

So by the so-called "solar season" definition, where the equinoxes and solstices occur at the centers of the season, summer started May 5th. Otherwise, that was "peak spring".
