Oy vey. I just saw that the US State Department returned hundreds of rare artifacts that were ascertained to have been stolen from Italy and sold in the US market over the years, along with a mash note about how great Italy is.
We should have stuffed them all in the Smithsonian, in a special exhibit called "1/1,000,000th of What These Dirty, Cannoli-Rolling Greasers Owe Us." Those foreign devils don't have any American treasures to exchange, and if they did, they wouldn't. *spits* Posted by: Yudhishthira's Dice at May 01, 2026 07:41 AM (BI5O2) 15

About the Progressive Pastors- PJ media has a quote "woman pastor ( shocker)" as if all woman pastors are like this. They aren't. I find the stuff quoted there egregiously bad. I have never said anything like that in my entire pastoral career and wouldn't . I think the woman running for Congress who married two Satanists is an embarrassment and should have been removed. If they were Satanists they couldn't have a fellow Satanist to officiate at the wedding?! Stop being "nice"because they looked at each other tenderly Bleeech!
Additionally , they are equally progressive male pastors who say horrendously bad stuff And no, I don't want to debate the ordination of women. Nobody is going to change my mind and I won't change theirs P.S. I am going to donate to the campaign of the man running against this person. And I'm off for today and won't be back to this thread. Sheinbaum mentioned the case of Salvador Cienfuegos, a former Secretary of the Army who had been indicted and arrested in the U.S. on drug charges. Due to political pleading from Mexico’s government, the U.S. Justice Department sent Cienfuegos to Mexico to allow them to prosecute him first. However, as soon as Cienfuegos arrived in Mexico, then-President Andrés Manuel López Obrador freed him and soon afterward awarded him a medal.

Maybe recency bias but since Lincoln IMO the only president as consequential as these two was FDR and his legacy is mixed (positive: won WWII, negative: the new deal). Has anyone asked Martha Stewart if she believes it's unjust that "Jimmy Drama" Comey is getting indicted for his sea shells?
As a young prosecutor who needed to make his bones, Comey put Martha in jail for deleting and then undeleting a text message. Also, for lying to the FBI agents who showed up at her door unnanounced (that's if you believe that their later-filed report was truthful and accurate.) That's all Comey had. He knew Martha never inside-traded and so he didn't include inside-trading charges, just charges for obstructing an investigation into crimes that Martha didn't commit. USA Today: I voted for Harris in 2024. She shouldn't run in 2028.
Instead of standing up for the people who voted for her, former Vice President Kamala Harris has been absent from a conversation that Democrats should be easily winning. I think that’s literally everyone’s opinion. We voted for her because she was the better option of the two, but by no means was the “best” option overall. Anyone who thinks they can win should run. But I want a real, competitive primary. No "turns" or coronations, 4+ candidates duking it out. We have the right to choose the candidate. Do we though? The DNC has shown in the past that they will hand pick their candidates. And before I get flack from anyone, I'm as liberal as liberals can be. She is a very talented and competent person. No doubt about that for sure. But she did run in the primary in 2019 and Bernie and JoeB were the front runners. She had her chance in 2019 and didn't convert it to a nomination. Leftist whites won't vote for a leftist black. This is for two reasons...
1. Leftist white know, deep down in their heart, that the colored folks is lesser. 2. Leftist white know, deep down in their heart, that leftist policy is each race getting what it can from the others and they don't want to "pay their fair share". Posted by: I used to have a different nic at May 01, 2026 08:12 AM (ExV1e) That’s exactly what just happened in the primary race between Talerico and Jasmine Crockett. Over 90% of the black voters in that race voted for her, but white liberals voted against and got a narrow majority. New - the Trump administration says the U.S.-Iran ceasefire that began April 7 has effectively “terminated” military action for War Powers Resolution purposes, per senior admin official. That means in their view, 60-day clock for Congress to weigh in does not apply: ------- I just have to bring this up because it's what I said would happen. People worried that Trump would have to go and ask for permission to strike Iran again from Congress were wrong. Hell, Obama's Libya campaign, which he never got permission from Congress for and lasted well more than 60 days (about nine months), never even had a reset. There was a lawsuit from Congress, though. Polls are for strippers. Posted by: Quarter Twenty at May 01, 2026 08:36 AM (2Ez/1) ====== That's part of the problem, but the bigger problem is sample size and randomness. It's expensive. You have to contact thousands of people to get hundreds of responses, and once you're in the hundreds, well, weighting tends to come in. A truly random sample gathered from a few hundred people is hard, especially if there are behavioral differences regarding polling across different partisan demos (which there are). So...they weight the data and then run the stats. If the weighting is correct, well, then you can get a decent result. But then...you might as well just throw up PVI and choose a couple of random numbers within 3 of each major point. Back in those old days, every Dem politician knew that their only chance in a tight election was heavy black voter turnout, and black community leaders responded by working hard to get their people to vote. Moulton represents the core Democrat party thinking, and if you don’t realize that you need to pay attention.
It’s pretty obvious what Democrats want to do to the opposition, and they will brook no process, law, rule, principle, election or norm to get there. They don’t want to govern, they want to rule. They’ve shown you during COVID how they will weaponize the government to steal your rights. They used the Russian Hoax and all auspices of the government to attempt a soft coup. They undermined the election system (and still are) to trying and subvert the people’s will. This isn’t hyperbole. It’s demonstrably true in every instance. Their own words betray them. At this point you are either part of the subversion or an idiot to elect any of these people. Posted by: The Crow at May 01, 2026 08:42 AM (xZEBF) 160

@DrOzCMS · 19h Today, CMS notified Governor Walz and the state of Minnesota that we are deferring an additional $91 million in federal Medicaid funding. This follows a pattern we can’t ignore. From the “Learing Center” scandal to the recent DOJ action involving childcare centers, Minnesota’s Medicaid program has shown serious vulnerabilities to fraud. These are not isolated breakdowns—they point to systemic issues that must be addressed. Here’s the reality: the federal government funds roughly half of Medicaid. That gives CMS both the authority and the responsibility to ensure those dollars are spent legally and appropriately. When they’re not, we act. . . . Booya!! The problem is Thatcher broke the back of the working class in England like Obama did here. They had far too much power so it was coming to them, but she fundamentally transformed Britain and indirectly accelerated it into the globalist state we see today.
There may have been no stopping that march but pulling the plug on the white working class IMO ended up aiding the globalist agenda. Posted by: dantesed at May 01, 2026 Mayday originated in 1923 when Frederick Stanley Mockford, a senior radio officer at Croydon Airport in London, was tasked with creating a distress signal easily understood by international air traffic. Because most flights at the time connected London with Paris, Mockford derived the term from the French phrase "m’aider" (help me), a shortened form of "venez m’aider" (come help me), chosen for its phonetic clarity over radio static. And those reading out of state probably don’t know that the most cutting criticism of him from inside Texas wasn’t that he was just an old school RINO (although that’s true); it’s that he long ago forgot about the State and its voters, and instead acted like he was a full time permanent resident of DC only. It's almost like they stay on offense to keep you from even finding out about all their theft and fraud, let alone doing anything about it.

I had a good buddy from near Terre Haute, just across the line in Illinois when a boy. He had a lot of jokes about "Terrible Haute," as in its golden era it was dominated by houses of ill repute. Some of the madams became prominent citizens. Many good Christian families would not shop or visit there, decades ago.
It's the home of the Hulman family, owners of Clabber Girl and for a long time, the speedway at Indianapolis. It has an epic sprint car dirt track, although I will say that it is a uniquely dusty clay and in glorious summer you won't see the end of many races. https://tinyurl.com/25ets2mu Posted by: Our Country is Screwed at May 01, 2026 09:11 AM (N39Ws) This video does several things - it proves there was no friendly fire and it proves the agent who 'wasn't watching the door' was in fact watching the door. He glanced over his shoulder to watch someone walk past from a different angle, but wasn't not screwing around, was not being lazy, was not ambivalent or derelict. It also shows just how quickly Allen was able to get onto the USSS and how quickly the first officer got their weapon out. Goodfellas (1990) – Martin Scorsese’s mob drama uses "86" in a context implying getting rid of someone, aligning with mafia slang for elimination. Pulp Fiction (1994) – Quentin Tarantino’s film features a scene where a character is told to "86 the gimp," meaning to remove or deal with a problematic individual, showing the term’s darker connotations in criminal contexts. Reservoir Dogs (1992) – Another Tarantino film, where "86" is used similarly to indicate getting rid of someone, emphasizing its association with exclusion or elimination. Casino (1995) – Joe Pesci’s character is "eighty-sixed," reflecting mob slang for execution-style removal, demonstrating the term’s use in organized crime narratives. Paxton is much like Trump; he’s partially inoculated against attacks because has been under constant attack for 12 years now. It’s hard to believe any claim can come up because his opponents have been throwing everything they can find at him nonstop for that entire time.
The impeachment hearings of Paxton in the Texas House sealed it for me - the Speaker promised that all of the hard evidence of Paxton’s unfitness for office would be revealed, so I paid attention closely at the time. And I was disgusted that every time they got a witness to testify about some awful thing, they’d be asked “so you saw this personally?” And the answer was always “no, but my cousins girlfriend told him that’s what happened, and I believe her.” “So is she here today?” “No she said she didn’t want to do this kind of thing, but I believe her!” Every single big complaint they had against him turned into some version of that, which is why the case became a laughingstock. So his enemies are down to saying that he’s bad because he and his wife broke up and he fell in love with another woman. Big deal. Posted by: Tom Servo at May 01, 2026 09:20 AM (H1WUE) 264
