Having lived in the rural Southwest now for 13 years, I've had an opportunity to be around a lot of horses (sometimes just out hiking on trails).

I am ALWAYS amazed each time at their physical build, strength, and magnificence ... and understand now why, during the Civil War, U.S. Grant punished a Union soldier (had him tied to a tree for hours; too bad not whipped) for abusing one.

168 This is impressive. She really captures the musculature and movement of the horses. These aren't spindly race horse types. They are heavily muscled for farm work and hunting over rough terrain. Bonheur lets the viewer feel the sheer power on display. The landscape is not as dynamic, of course, but it is equally well done.

This is a painting that benefits from enlarging. That lets you see even more detail and the people in the scene. The humans are pretty much lost among the horses. It must be very impressive seen on site.

BTW, Bonheur was also a sculptress and her work is as detailed and lifelike as the paintings.

How stupid do you think normal people are that they would need financial and tactical backing in order to accomplish that?

You don't need Soros to make that happen. You don't need the Iranian government.

274 Normal peaceable peoples don’t do this kind of stuff.

Leftists have the slowly boil the frog strategy, a volume control, they turn up and down.

Regular people don’t do shit. Till they do, then watch the fuck out. Leftists know this, their strategies have entirely revolved around this fact for 60 years. It’s axiomatic. Push everything as fast as possible, cement the gains, codify it, and don’t surrender any territory.

That’s why they hate Trump, and anyone like him, because he doesn’t play the role of Failure Theater piñata Republican. Grovel and apologize publicly on behalf of Americans for something we didn’t do to people who aren’t in fact victims, but perpetrators. Mind Games 101

It’s a mistake to ascribe absolutely everything to conspiracy. If you do that, you may as well be BurtTC, who never could grasp that basic truth.

You're on a game show. You got 2 doors to pick from, and you know whats behind each. Behind on door #1 is a paradise, the land of plenty, low taxes, freedom be anything you want, choose your destiny, life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, etc.

Behind door #2 is a shithole where crime is rampant, criminal invaders from other lands come and steal your resources, murder you, you get taxed out the ass, told what to drive, how to live, etc etc. What do you pick?

The dems pick #2, they want to create whats behind door 2, and they want to force you to live with it every...fucking...time these motherfuckers wake up breathing and vote. Every dem is a defective human, a piece of shit. There is no average dem, there is only dem, and they are shit.
