Glackens was one of the founders of the Ashcan school, which also included Robert Henri, George Luks, John Sloan, and Everett Shinn. My local museum used to have a fair number of paintings from these artists, until the museum went woke and decided we all would be more enlightened by "art" from marginalized communities.

Dems believe Butler is what lost them the election so that is a lot of the rationale.
What lost them the election was trying to squeeze that shrew in when no one voted for her in the first place, and Trump actually fighting back. He's an amazing campaigner and a bitch to go up against. But they don't want to know all that. Posted by: ... at April 28, 2026 10:51 AM (USUCU) ------------- Thank God Trump's a billionaire because they tried to bankrupt him, his family, and his organizations with Lawfare ... and yet he persisted. I think that was a factor as well; had they just ignored him, he may not have re-won the nomination and Presidency. Posted by: ShainS at April 28, 2026 11:01 AM (VdTX+) 217
"We need another Trump in 28. Anything less than his sort won’t do. Relentless is what I want in the next guy.

I am not the optimist that are JackStraw and TJM. The reason being that gains made are not permanent in our system of governance. Underlying that, of course, is our devolving from being a moral, principled nation, or people. How I wish all of that were not true.

This included 600 parts for four different jet engines for planes like the Boeing 757 or Airbus 320 that were on the way to be scrapped. I don’t believe there is another Trump. Like Rush Limbaugh, he is one of a kind, and irreplaceable.
Trump is one of one. But it's likely that other members of his administration are getting (more) radicalized by the left's constant bad behavior. Posted by: Ian S. at April 28, 2026 11:06 AM (2ocoG) 223

Posted by: Ian S. at April 28, 2026 11:06 AM (2ocoG) ======== In terms of immigration: Trump's one of a kindness would actually lead to much softer immigration policies than his administration is pursuing. The one of a kindness when it comes to immigration is centered entirely around Stephen Miller. The difference between Trump 1.0 and Trump 2.0 is a question of personnel mostly.
