Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Tucker Carlson Is Scraping and Clawing and Suing His Sister to Claim a $2,414 Monthly Payment from the Swanson Family Fortune His Sister Says He's Not Even Entitled To?I've linked Malcolm and Simone from Based Camp before. Commenters said "who are those lefties with the huge Power Spectacles" and yeah, they do look like total lefties, but they are deeply #Based. Anyway, discussing Tucker Carlson, Malcolm said that he didn't really believe the take that "Tucker is independently wealthy due to his family fortune and hence is not bribable by Qatar" because he's not actually an heir to that fortune. One can be part of a family without being an heir to the rich members of that family. Not that he was saying Tucker Carlson was being bribed by Qatar -- just that he doesn't have the big pile of money people assume he does, which would make him un-bribable. Based on this article from the Daily Mail sent by beckster: Tucker is only getting $2,144 per month, and he has to lodge lawsuits just to get that much. So he doesn't seem to even have enough Podcast Money to just tell his sister, "Take the $2,144 per month, I need it not."Chances are Tucker Carlson didn't eat many TV dinners growing up.He's also not missing many meals now. He's a Hungry Man Sirloin Steak Dinner with Brownie 4. Yeah I'm rating dudes now too, who cares, half of you say I'm gay despite me being so straight I singe quim at 40 paces. But according to the sister he barely acknowledges, he now wants more than his share. The multi-millionaire former Fox News host is embroiled in a bitter he-says-she-says battle with his heiress stepsister Dr Roberta 'Bo' Hunt, over the Swanson TV dinner family fortune she claims he is not entitled to, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal. Is it that bad, Tuq'r? You have to fight a woman for rent money? It's possible that Tucker signed the documents because his ne'er-do-well, ne're-employed idiot Nazi brother needs the money. Tuq'r keeps saying the doesn't talk to this woman, which is odd, because the questions seem to be whether he filed a legal motion to take $2,414 per month from her, not whether he talks to her or not. ... The Swansons' holdings were estimated to be in excess of $100 million at the time, almost a billion dollars in today's money, after the sale of their food business to Campbell's Soup Company. ... So when 18-year-old daughter Patricia announced to her father that she had secretly married beau Howard Feldman, Gilbert felt the need to scramble to protect the family legacy. He demanded his daughter sign over control of her inheritance to the family lawyers, then set up a trust that stipulated Swanson riches could only pass to grandchildren 'born in lawful wedlock', according to Hunt's 2024 lawsuit. The Carlson brothers' entry to the Swanson family was a little more turbulent than 'lawful wedlock'. After majoring in architecture at UC Berkeley, Lombardi met and married Tucker's father, TV newsman Dick Carlson, and moved to Los Angeles, where she had the two boys. ... According to Dick's divorce filings, Lombardi also fell into 'alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine abuse' that 'left her incapable of properly caring' for the children. Tucker put it succinctly in his father's obituary: 'His wife departed for Europe and didn't return.'So, Tuq'r's mom was a bohemian pot-head who fucked off to Europe, abandoning them, and then, long story short, Tuq'r's father had an affair Patricia Swanson, then married to another man. Later they married and Patricia adopted the Nepo Babies Tuq'r and Buckley, but the grandfather apparently didn't want them included in the family's trust. Once ensconced in La Jolla, the Carlson pad became the venue for high society dinner parties where future California Governor Pete Wilson and author Theodore Geisel -- aka Dr Seuss -- were regulars. Two streets away lived Patricia, married by then to architect George Hunt, and their teenage daughter, Roberta. ... But Hunt says her father left her mother after she and Tucker's dad began an affair. Dick moved in with his two sons around 1977, leaving Hunt feeling like 'an afterthought' in the family throughout her teenage years. Patricia adopted the Carlson boys in 1979. 'It was all about Dick Carlson and his boys,' Hunt, a Georgia Military College professor, said. 'Whenever anything would go wrong, I was always the one who got in trouble.' ... Asked by the Daily Mail whether he grew up living in the same home as Hunt, Tucker took on an indignant tone, characteristic of his expressive on-screen persona, and replied: 'No!' 'I've had no contact with this person in more than 30 years,' he added, claiming he last saw her 'in the 1980s', and that 'I don't know who this person is really.'Yeah but are you filling motions to grab that $2,414 or not? That's the question. No one cares whether you're friendly with your adopted half-sister. That's not the story here. This is just Tuq'r's usual dishonesty and evasiveness. And evidence does shoe them together sixteen years ago: Because lying is a drug that Tuq'r got addicted to long ago. Like he got addicted to booze and, I'll warrant, drugs. ... Hunt claimed that on one occasion in the years before her mother's death, Patricia and Buckley asked her and her cousins to sign papers that would confirm the inclusion of the Carlsons in the Swanson grandchildren's trusts. She alleges a trust established by her grandfather specifically bans inheritance by anyone other than blood relatives, excluding adopted family members. And she makes it clear the lawsuit is personal, pointing out that the Carlsons never knew her grandfather, the source of the disputed legacy, while to her, he was 'Big Poppa'.So again, this doesn't prove he's being paid off -- but it does disprove the claim that he is so rich due to his dad marrying into the Swanson fortune that he would never be tempted to take money from a foreign power or play to the algorithm to boost his ratings. Below: Tuq'r is angry at Trump for focusing all of his attention on Israel.
Nick Fuentes just happened to be at the SPLC organized "Unite the (Fed) Right" rally in Charlotesville --but say it's a fed op to suggest that maybe he was in on the op. Nicholas J. Fuentes Bonus: The left is suddenly very, very worried that a small number of partisans controlling the media could -- if you can believe this -- use their media power to influence public opinion.

The wealth (or lack thereof) of this puffy goober is fodder for tabloids, I guess, but it never mattered for trying to understand the motivation for his rantings.
Even very rich guys can be bribed, can want to make even more money (almost all of them do), and/or are susceptible to other kinds of persuasion. I personally think Tucker had a nervous breakdown and is not medically insane. But it doesn't matter. He still rants like a madman about insane shit. So, sigh, I never defend Tucker. But...
If granddad died before mom...she inherited and could do what she wants with the money in her will if she decided to change the terms of the trust. If granddad wanted to secure these "just for blood relatives", he should have made the beneficiary directly those kids. But he didn't...he seems to have made it mom, and thus Tucker is likely in the right, although that's pending if mom made changes correctly. And his half-sis sounds like a piece of work as bad as he is...there seems to be no family relationship by either side there, and neither with the other adoptee. so basically Tuck is NOT a member of the Swanson family at all?!? ugh this sort of thing is so toxic. first families get dumped for second (and third) families in rich households all the time, but in this case he and his brother are not by blood even related to the Swansons! I'm a "first family" kid. btw it does suck but I didn't get anything and didn't want anything (except attention which I never got from my wayward, rich Dad). he went on to have 3 families! the kids from the second try to bitch to me as if I am going to feel sorry for them lol. so yeah, I think the idea that Tucker is rich is probably false!!! When you leave folks out, when you change percentages, when you direct things to certain people, the ugly comes out. Also, have the lawyer of the family meet all the heirs after the funeral and tell them they could all inherit something or they could all fight it out and pay him the entire estate in fees. An adopted son would be as much a presumptive heir as a biological son. However, if you have a will or trust you can exclude any or all of your presumptive heirs (depending on the state). If the parent died without a will or trust the intestate laws would apply and the adopted son would get the same standard share as the biological one. Part of the issue with settling estates is that once someone sues to contest the will, the provisions in the will become subject to the whims of a judge. The original wishes of whoever made the will are not considered because the state knows better than anyone else, including the deceased. It only takes one greedy asshole to set the whole proceeding on fire, and anyone willing to do so has no qualms about burning every family relationship to the ground in the process.

Let me break this to you gently. Most people you know are living relatively paycheck to paycheck. Rich. Poor. Whatever.
The idea of living below one's means is very, very rare. And always has been. That's why our parents worked like dogs for shitty companies that jettisoned them at the drop of a hat. Just how its always been. Posted by: Yep ... VPN at April 24, 2026 04:17 PM (Vfb5s) Maybe. We lived below our means to save for the kids college, pay off the mortgage ASAP, save and invest for retirement, save to take one nice trip per year(for certain values of nice). Anyway, it's not particularly had once you make up your minds (you and spouse) to do it. But, basically you're right, the demographics we ran for the area surrounding the biz showed pretty much everyone was house poor with loaded credit cards. Apparently, if you read the article, mom either did or was doing the legal work to change that (depending if the single suing party signed or not - I bet she did, b/c her other siblings did, and I doubt she was a holdout with mom alive).
There is no legal work to be done ... if Gramps Swanson made it clear. I've got two kids. Both mine - both with Mama. And if she dies before me ? I can leave it all to the dogs. Or a tree in the back-yard. As long as I spell it out. This idea of "entitlement" is the problem. Tucker isn't entitled to anything. It was never his to begin with. Posted by: Yep ... An adopted son would be as much a presumptive heir as a biological son. However, if you have a will or trust you can exclude any or all of your presumptive heirs (depending on the state). If the parent died without a will or trust the intestate laws would apply and the adopted son would get the same standard share as the biological one.
Posted by: Chuck C at April 24, 2026 04:12 PM (D0HYP) You can cut them out of the will, but it can open the will up to be challenged. If you want to "cut them out", you have to leave them something that is spelled out in the will like a $100 or something. Otherwise, the heir may challenge it on being forgotten. Take the man seriously here for a moment. If you believe voters can be easily misled on issues they don't fully understand your take away should be to minimize government overall and move as much power to the local level as possible. That way smaller groups of people are highly incentivized to make decisions on things outside of what the media tells them. But his take is just...as long as people I like control the media it will be ok if they are misled. Posted by: 18-1 at April 24, 2026 04:41 PM (sKqQm) 225

It probably has nothing to do with the 2400 per month but the ultimate distribution or future distribution of the trust. If this case determines under the terms of the trust that adopted beneficiaries are excluded then both Tucker and Buckley (and heirs) are then cut out. Which means that depending on the terms of the trust leaves more for distribution to sister (and her heirs). In other words, sister doesn't want a Kennedy situation where entire generations do nothing but drink, hit on waitress and try to parlay their famous name to a Congressional seat they other wise have no business being in. Regarding estates, we are lucky to have siblings who are nuts but not greedy nuts who contest anything. When my mother goes to her reward it will be complicated, the land/house stuff divided in half, as brother lives on the lake. But no big fights over jewels or anything because I have no sisters to fight with.
My neurotic SIL did whine and complain when I chose (for my husband...he gave me the right to choose stuff as we wanted no furniture of his parents) a painting of their home in Long Island. She "could" ask for a copy and I'd make sure she got one (she'd pay). However, she spent much of that day whining so I guess I was not singled out except for jewelry. I don't need jewelry, at all, or anything. I have plenty of everything. However, it was obvious that I got a cheap brooch (because I bought it for MIL when we had no money for a gift), and the rest got her good jewelry. It may be because I produced sons vs daughters to inherit stuff. I could have moaned about this but I wanted to get out of there and have a drink.
