I was out for lunch with a friend. We hadn't seen each other for a while. While sitting in a restaurant another woman came with a beautiful tee shirt in colorful script which read, "Creator". That reminded me of the creator - God Then when I went to a little store nearby I passed a car which had on the back bumper a sticker which said, " I hope something good happens to today. " I thought that was very nice.

Even with a lighter it's hard to get a pipe lit under those conditions. Maybe on Thursday with the rain coming I can nip down to the pipe shop in Wichita, sit for a while, and commune with the briar and the leaf.

Though there is a vape-type "smoke" shop only a couple miles from here. I wonder if they would mind if I had a pipe there if I bought some pipe cleaners . . .?

59 Don't get me wrong; I'm not complaining about the weather here! The dry, lower temps compared to Da Swamp are marvelous. If I could smoke my pipe inside the hotel, the winds would not bother me.

Except -- Yesterday I went out to wash the car at a self-serve place. The surfaces dried almost before I could dry them, leaving some faint spots despite the "spot-free" rinse. Which is why I always dry my car instead of depending on "spot-free." Still, as I was coming back to the Buick after my burger at Bogey's, a senior citizen climbing out of his SUV called, "Pretty car!"

And she can't get onto the site id.me because her ID has an initial that their records don't have. Normally this could be handled with a phone call but she has to keep an eye on dad.

If it would help, I'd fly out there and do the yelling for her.
