The Morning Report -- 4/ 20/26

Morning Report intro.jpg

Good morning kids, Well for sure the Epic Fury in and around Iran continues epically and furiously...

The USS Spruance destroyer intercepted Iran’s Touska cargo ship in the Gulf of Oman, taking custody of the ship after it refused warnings to stop, according to the president.

Yet with that the kabuki theatrics of so-called "negotiations" with the mullahs continues. Or at least would continue if they even decided to attend, instead of flipping the bird at President Trump. For the Trumpteenth time, it ultimately will lead nowhere. Unless the last vestiges of the Islamic regime are ripped out of Iran root and branch, regardless of how much ordnance is dropped, how many power plants, bridges and infrastructure is destroyed and ships sunk, they along with every other Muslim on the planet will never cease in their eternal quest to conquer the world and/or destroy it in the process.

Talk of a “grand bargain” with Iran revives a failed playbook of concessions and deception that history shows only strengthens Tehran’s regime. . . Here’s what you need to know. . .When the Iranian regime hears the term “grand bargain,” they begin to salivate. It’s better than hot mint tea after a day-long forced march in the Great Salt Desert. To them, it means they will survive. Even better, they will have succeeded in suckering those stupid Americans once again into a very bad deal.

Still, the prospect of an Iranian A-bomb or a nuclear arsenal replete with the long range missiles to deliver them to any sane person was and remains completely intolerable. A little pain at the pump or watching your children die of radiation sickness until your own eyes melt like the Nazi. Trump gets it.

And speaking of Nazis, here at home we have their kissing cousins, the Democrat Leftists and their coven of power-mad insane fiends to who originated the phrase "Death to America" which the Mullahs glommed onto and made their own.

During a recent livestream, Piker declared that “if you cared about Medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, you would kill Rick Scott.” Scott (R-Fla.) has since pushed for Yale University to lose funding for allowing Piker to speak at an event. “He wants me killed. He wants every capitalist murdered,” Scott bemoaned matter-of-factly on “Fox News Sunday.” “He said that we deserve 9/11. He’s clearly antisemitic. Democrats are campaigning with this guy.” “The Democrat Party supports this stuff,” he added. “Yale, if they want to go support somebody that wants to be a capitalist murdered in this country, right, so I don’t want them to get any federal funding. I mean, it’s pretty simple to me. They shouldn’t be doing this.”

WIth backstabbing criminal Quisling traitors and vermin like Chris Murphy, is it any wonder we have assassination attempts, firebombing, drive-by shootings, riots. This is the kind of incitement that leads to complete dissolution.

Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) was in Spain this weekend for some reason, trashing the United States as being in the midst of a crisis, claiming that Trump is trying to take over our democracy, calling him a totalitarian, and on and on.Murphy reminds me a lot of Senator Elizabeth Warren. Like Warren, Murphy has not dialed down his insane anti-Trump rhetoric below eleven even once since the 2024 election. It makes me think he is planning a 2028 run for president, not because he thinks he can win, but because he wants a position in the next Democrat administration, or a job in media. This performance, and it is a performance, is a total disgrace.

Of course he went to Spain:

Pedro Sanchez’s anti-American crusade exposes a deeper truth: the global Left’s ideology remains rooted in recycled Marxism, repackaged through expediency and contradiction.

Ah yes, Murphy does the "Dirty Sanchez" smearing his own country in a foreign capital during a time of war.

It really is us or them. Something's got to give, and if push comes to shove, it's not going to be me.

Compare and contrast this cancerous fistula with one of the greatest American patriots of all time, Justice Clarence Thomas:

Progressivism seeks to replace the basic premises of the Declaration of Independence and hence our form of government.  It holds that our rights and our dignities come not from God but from government.  It requires of the people a subservience and weakness incompatible with a constitution premised on the transcendent origin of our rights.

It is unfortunately rare these days to hear any public figure describe the threats of “progressivism” so clearly.

Have a great day!

He's anti-American, he's nasty minded, and he is really dumb.

All he needs is a few cross-dressing photos to come to light, and he could be the symbol of today's Democrat Party.

The district in NJ I used to live in had the moderate GOP rep, Rodney Freylinghausen, when he retired the odious Mike Sherril won his seat, when she became governor her seat was up for election, a literal Soros funded Marxist lunatic has won the seat, so a district that once had a moderate Republican is now represented by a Bernie Sanders social justice warrior in the span of 7 years.

Yale can host these sorts of antisemitic, anticapitalist, anti-American murderous thugs if they wish. It is certainly the right of the college to support the end of western civilization this way, if that is their wishful opinion.

But, at a minimum, American tax dollars should not go there to support Yale. In fact, the "school" should be closely examined and investigated. Maybe Yale should move to Gaza, or London, or somewhere else in Caliphate.

I don't agree here, MP4. There are fewer federal government employees today than in the past 60 years. Illegal immigration is near zero. Legal immigration is collapsing. There is a Grand Conspiracy case being heard by a grand jury in Florida. Birthright citizenship has been challenged as never before and is a justice or two from being overturned - as Roe was overturned.

There are sweeping, systemic, domestic victories. Enough? No. But honestly, there will never be enough.

And that's what I have to tell myself when I find myself making the exact same complaints you're making here - No modern American president has ever (ever) done more with less and with more aligned against him than has Trump. "Yeah, but he hasn't done..." is not only not effective, but it removes the external incentives for him to even keep going.

Let's try one example: we know Fauci lied. We know he engaged in animal torture. We know he was instrumental in developing a bioweapon used not just against the US, but around the world. Why is that bastard not swinging from a length of piano wire right now?

Anyway the point here is that this argument the world must sit around and wait - till the Iranian mullah regime (or anyone else) has nuclear weapons ready to go before it is “just” to respond is twaddle.

Nuclear proliferation was the #1 concern, before atomic weapons had even been constructed. They knew they could not be “uninvented”, and that any nation with sufficient industrial capacity and engineering capability could build them.

I was having a discussion with a friend who listens to too many talk radio hosts, who was saying “Trump is going to have to use nukes in Iran soon!”
And I asked Why? Why would we do that? There’s nothing a nuke can do militarily that a precision conventional weapon can’t do better, except kill a lot of civilians at once. And why would we want to kill a lot of civilians who would be on our side?

There’s really no rational case for using nukes now, except as a threat.

And you - I hope there's a MoMee in your future. I still remember fondly getting to share a drink with you.

As to your example, I think the Art of the Possible overrides everything. Could it be done? Possibly, but not likely. Would it cost a massive amount of political capital to achieve even an unwanted outcome? Almost definitely.

And then the tricky part - would I rather Trump spend that political capital on things more likely to generate wins? Yes. Yes I would.

And this is, I think where we disagree. I don't want to tilt at windmills. I want to stack victories. Victory is contagious. It took more than one Administration for America to get here. It'll take more than one Administration to get out. Trump, though, is showing the way - get up, hit back, flip over their rice bowls, fuck their 'propriety.'

152 Under the proposed rule, undergraduate programs will have to prove that degree recipients earn at least as much as a high school graduate before being eligible for student loan funding.

How could a college degree, no matter how stupid, cause you to earn less than someone with only a HS diploma? They should require the degree to earn substantially more - where they can quibble over what substantially means.

For those of you on X @Shipwreckedcrew posted an interesting piece on his substack the other day. He's a former DOJ prosecutor turned defense counsel and he represented dozens of J6 defendants largely or donations.

He claims that the DOJ career prosecutors he went up against with J6 cases were overwhelmingly, your woke women who were placed there by Obama/Biden. That was the DOJ that Bondi took over. They can't all be replaced with the snap of a finger.

Just last week Blanche removed the career prosecutor hearing evidence in Florida in the conspiracy case against Trump for supposedly slow walking cases against Brennan and others and replaced her, yes her, with Joe diGenova who is a fierce defender and believes the 2020 election was stolen. Let's see how he does.

170 73 The Angry Young Women say they want “revolution”: “systematic change.” Racked by chronic fatigue and endometriosis, they find satisfaction in protest, nonbinary comedy evenings, and pursuing “moral missions.” But even then, that satisfaction is fleeting. “You’ve got to be pessimistic,” one young woman says. Mike Rowe's advice to young men has no appeal to young women. Very few want, or will lower themselves, to be plumbers, machinists, electricians, auto mechanics, or workers in other necessary trades. Parents and teachers actively work to keep young women from such career paths, told they are beneath women. Add to this that young urban and suburban women are told marrying tradesmen is beneath them. Yet there are only so many male bankers, doctors, lawyers, dentists, stock brokers, trust fund babies, tenure-track college professors, and even engineers. Teaching is the fall back career it seems. Putting women in direct daily contact with ultra-woke women. What a mess.

221 >>In all honesty it has become so visibly and persistently corrupted, I no longer have full faith in our justice system. It's about 50%.

I think that's fair. As I said above Ship posted interesting stuff about how both Obama and Biden weaponized the DOJ with woke prosecutors, many of them young women, and turned it into a political operation. That took a lot of time to build and it wasn't going get turned around in a few months no matter who was in charge.

The replacement of the career prosecutor in FL and the insertion of diGenova is a positive sign for me. If anything he is more adamant in his belief of a conspiracy against Trump than we are.

Nothing mystical or magical about it. Florida was chosen specifically because it's not DC or Virginia. And the judge overseeing the GJ is Aileen Cannon, the judge who shutdown Jack Smith's ridiculous special counsel case.

The odds of justice in a case like this are much higher in Florida than in a typical Democrat stronghold. Again, nothing good might come of it but in Florida at least we have a shot.

Trump has done more to explain the moral case against abortion than 50 years of nearly all elected Republicans.

All of them could mouth the right phrases, say they're "pro-life."
But almost none of them believed it or could make any coherent moral case against it.

And when Roe was over-turned, we saw that weakness as so many states were able to expand abortion.

not sure what year she is but she should do those 1-day clinics schools have in the spring and summer. I'm sure Kutztown has one. WCU is another great idea! also has great arts and great field hockey!

300 I'll say it again, we all thought Trump was going to lose the election in June of 2024.
All of the news was full of how he was losing.

While Trump was already vetting his future cabinet.

Someone on X made a comment, "Trump doesn't appear worried about the midterms. Why?"

Of course the retarded shit-monkeys flung to "cause he's going to cancel the election!" to "cause he wants to lose so he can blame all the problems on the Dems!"

well let me know where she likes - I do still know a bunch of coaches

FH is a great way to get in and get money at the DI and DII level. not sure how that works for DIII but this is the best area for DII hockey and it's kind of perfect for intense hockey but not as intense/time consuming as DI

PSU is DI of course but they are a program that likes to take US players and they are good with scholarship money too. And they have a wide variety of majors ; )

303 It's been revealed that young American men under 30 are LEADING a massive Christian and spiritual revival

Seems to pop up every Lent, and is usually connected in some way to the Bishop of Rome telling us to rub our knuckles in shit.

If only American christendumb could suck up to the existence of God or his word the same way they ass-nose the Church of Quinnipiac Poles. But you're going to believe what you want to. You're rolling to hell on a very chummy band wagon.

304 Why would arrests of high-ranking Biden officials increase conservative turn-out in the midterms?

Why would it increase irregular Republican-voter turnout?

305 "Sen. Chris Murphy Trashes Trump in Spain: ‘Most Significant Threat Since Civil War’ "

How come...Murphy doesn't have to worry about death threats, but Trump on down, do? I mean, even Pam Bondi had to live on a military base, and she did next to nothing...

306 The Iranian leadership isn't going away until we litter Tehran with 10's of thousands of parachuted AK47's and grenades. Litter the rooftops, courtyards, and streets with them.

The IRGC can't be everywhere at once and probably 80%+ of them would fall into the hands of citizens. The ones that IRGC pickup are essentially useless because they already have small arms.

I have my doubts that the citizens will revolt but at least you can say we didn't give them a chance.

307 As stated above, getting rid the IRGC is the answer.
