![]() Palm Beach’s legendary Mar-a-Lago estate transformed into a dreamy Enchanted Garden for Bettina Anderson’s bridal shower, celebrating her upcoming wedding to Don Jr. The whole affair was bursting with romantic spring florals and elegant vibes. How Bettina captured Don’s heart might come with a dash of tabloid scandal, but we’re fully embracing the playful spirit of those “Love Trumps All” cookies that were served. We are also ignoring the potential double entendres of this messaging. Anyway, Bettina Anderson looked every inch the radiant bride-to-be in a bespoke Safiyaa Agyness dress. The good news? The ready-to-wear version is still available on the Safiyaa site for $2,460—and it’s just as stunning.
![]() She paired it with a delicate Dior Small Lady Dior bag in Latte Cannage calfskin, plus a touch of sparkle from Manolo Blahnik Hangisli satin jewel-buckle slingback pumps in white. For a more budget-friendly option with the same flattering silhouette, try the blue floral midi dress by Mac Duggal—yours for $498 at Nordstrom. ![]() Ivanka Trump brought sophisticated charm in a Zimmermann Alchemy Paisley structured linen and silk organza midi dress in a soft pale pink. It’s still available in limited sizes at Nordstrom for $1,950. She finished the look with what appeared to be a classic brown Hermès Kelly bag. ![]() Want a similar corset-to-fit-and-flare vibe without the splurge? The Hutch Amara Corset Pleated Tulle Fit & Flare Midi Dress at Anthropologie is a winner at $348. ![]() Tiffany Trump leaned into delicate romance with the Duchess The Label Dahlia Dress in a dreamy Powder shade. It’s still available… but you might need to hop on a flight to the Philippines to snag it. A lovely stateside alternative: the As It May Samara Lace Midi Dress at Nordstrom for $595. ![]() Laura Trump went bold and vibrant in a teal-and-pink floral shirt dress from The Westside. Sourcing this one may require a detour to India or Dubai, so consider the fun Alice + Olivia Lucy Sleeveless Mini Shirtdress as a breezy stand-in for $465 at Saks. ![]() And stealing the “sweetest guest” award: Arabella Kushner (Ivanka’s 14-year-old daughter) looked perfectly age-appropriate and adorable in the Zimmermann The Wylie Picnic Dress in Blue Palm from the Resort 2025 collection, originally $850, now sold out. ![]() For a similar tropical ruffled charm that’s actually in stock, Dillard’s has the Mestiza New York Torero Tropical Palm Toile Print square-neck tiered ruffled maxi dress for $595. ![]() With this dreamy kickoff, anticipation is high for the wedding itself! ----- Thanks, Piper! A few hours ago Trump ordered the USS Spruance to open fire on a Chinese cargo ship headed for Iran which refused to stop for the blockade. The Spruance contacted the Chinese ship and told them to evacuate their engineering section; then sent several 5” shells through their engine compartment. Then they boarded her.

I've seen an interesting transition in leftwing memes/videos/screeds.
Recently they argued that increasing taxes to draconian levels would not have any effect on how much people worked AND that it would be good that people would just stop working. Well, now they've simplified the argument - they'll just kill anyone who makes over $X and that will leave enough for everyone. Amusingly though the Karens I see signing onto this on upperclass leftwing forums are exactly in the target group of the rich to be eaten in the forums for poorer leftwing groups... Playing little league, I was aggressive at the plate. Elbows up, closed stance and striding toward the mound. One game, the first time up, the pitcher nailed me just under my left arm. 37 A few hours ago Trump ordered the USS Spruance to open fire on a Chinese cargo ship headed for Iran which refused to stop for the blockade. The Spruance contacted the Chinese ship and told them to evacuate their engineering section; then sent several 5” shells through their engine compartment. Then they boarded her.
It’ll be damned interesting to see what cargo they were hauling - I’ll bet it wasn’t condensed milk. Goes without saying that both the Iranians and the Chinese are pissed the hell off. Posted by: Tom Servo --- Apr 19, 2026 · 7:25 PM UTC Today, an Iranian-flagged cargo ship named TOUSKA, nearly 900 feet long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft carrier, tried to get past our Naval Blockade, and it did not go well for them. The U.S. Navy Guided Missile Destroyer USS SPRUANCE intercepted the TOUSKA in the Gulf of Oman, and gave them fair warning to stop. The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineroom. Right now, U.S. Marines have custody of the vessel. The TOUSKA is under U.S. Treasury Sanctions because of their prior history of illegal activity. Been doing some "engineering" today - since I will be traveling semi-solo a couple of times over the next month, I need to be able to get me, my scooter, and my luggage from Point A to Point B by myself. Mr. TiFW and I have been looking at bungee cords and luggage straps and various and sundry things to make my job easier and keep my luggage attached to the back of my scooter without all of the pieces wildly careening around, striking unsuspecting airport/hotel patrons. This system must also be easy to set up and take down without executing the 5 basic ballet moves, because - again - I will be on my own. I have a bunch of different pieces being delivered to Chez TiFW over the next couple of days - I will figure this out and have fun doing it! I told Mr. TiFW that I can't believe that no one has come up with a solution for this problem by now - my scooter is "freedom" for me, but I always feel so bad for Mr. TiFW when he has to schlep his bags and mine and Rebecca's when we travel. You may think so! But I am down to 2 finalists in the sink for the half bath, I need to decide on laundry room wall paper, and I am still really wanting teak in the master bath. It’s a lot, I am weighing whether I have a temper tantrum over it or not. 😂. If not teak, then it’s tile picking out and that will be like starting over. I promised I would settle on at least the sink today, and this did not happen. But I found wallpaper I would love in my room and that wasn’t even on the list!

We had a massive ant hill built under an inverted, old-timey bathtub, most visibly above ground. Boy, were we wrong about the range of their spread. Still, the gasoline worked but we were chasing wildfires for at least an hour. Too much gas, and I'd bet some of those ants were bailing for an exit when they got covered with the fuel.

And on another note, I just wanted to give another plug to the "Sight and Sound" production of " A Great Awakening movie ." Of course I learned about George Whitfield in church history class, but this movie really made him come alive for me. This is a background video with the actors talking their roles. What I liked about t it is that they both are so refreshing and down to earth and really rather humble. It doesn't sound much like Many Hollywood actors, does it.? I don't know about the actor who plays Benjamin Franklin, but I'm guessing he wouldn't be working with them for years on their stage shows for Sight and Sound if his faith wasn't important to him. Jonathan Blair who plays Whitefield is quite forthright about his faith. Anyway, it's a non woke movie and it's really a guy friend film, since the only woman in it is Whitefield's mother . Eight minute video. Although maybe it's better if you've already seen the movie. https://tinyurl.com/38t72f9b Posted by: FenelonSpoke at April 19, 2026 11:15 PM (jtjbl) 212

So we had to talk to cops for awhile, and then I had to go make a big, ugly scene in the courtyard of the rathole apartments across from her church once they left. But I can say this - no matter how much it might suck, at least I'm not a 53 year old man with undescended testicles, in a Democrat GOTV choir singing a desultory parody of "Golden" by Huntr/x.
