A cliffside path in Italy.
Another high path. Many years ago some friends and I were hiking one of thoe insanely high, narrow paths in Utah when we came across a panicked woman, nearly frozen with fear. Her asshole hiking companions had gone on without her, telling her to go back to the trailhead and they'd meet her there in a couple of hours. But she was too scared to move. We had hiked half an hour getting to that point, but my friends and I did the right thing and escorted her back down to the trailhead before retracing our way back up. Scariest trail I've ever hiked. I am positive a right wing conman will eventually drill that well. I have no clue who it'll be, but I kind of doubt it'll be Carlson. His con is Christian in flavor, and he'd have to shed a lot of marks to gain a few. I'm guessing it'll be a less popular, relatively irreligious (but not stridently atheist) political huckster, with a similar audience, who sees the light of Allah and sheds a few hundred thousand low-paying marks to convert a different few hundred thousand low-paying marks into ludicrously high-paying ones. We have come to the sad conclusion that The Big Dummy just cannot figure out a treadmill. We tried him on the Jog-a-Dog in the kennel and the people treadmill in the house and he can't move his feet. Snake Plissken starts a business and gets rich, but then a Muslim commie gets elected and he has to reach the Gulf Coast before the exit taxes fleece him bald - in this race against time and CHUDs, Snake's only hope is to don a heavy coat of blackface and pretend his sacks of money came from a daylight robbery the DA ignored.

I got off on the tangent of looking up the IAU rules and conventions for naming solar system bodies and the features on them. As I figured, it's a complex thing. Different objects and classes of them have their own themes. But always, there are exceptions, and they can basically override any of the rules if they want to. There are two broad subdivisions. The IAU's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN) handles the names of planets, their moons, and any surface features on them. The Working Group for Small Bodies Nomenclature handles the names for the minor planets, asteroids, and all that. For the Moon, the broad theme is craters are to be named after explorers, scientists, and engineers. Mountains and mountain ranges are to be named after terrestrial mountains and ranges. That's the general convention. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (w6EFb) at April 14, 2026 08:37 PM (w6EFb) 113

Sure they can; it just won't be anybody the original audience can stand. What about that fat woman the played the president in that Die Hard rip off? She was throwing around 250lb stuntmen. She wouldn't even need that eye patch because only men are weak enough to lose their eyes. And instead of rescuing the President, his dying words are to appoint her President. Rooooll credits. ---- It's a shame. Adkins is totally better on fight choreography... he's a really technical action star. But Statham is great too. Not so much on the fight scenes, but he has a less pretty-boy look, and the gravelly voice makes acting basically unnecessary for him, lol. Sweeynes got Barbue tits so she’s a cinch. And forget about anyone playing the Borgnine or Lee Van Cleef roles. People like that don’t exist any longer. Completely off any subject. Shopping for a fluoride toothpaste Sensodyne is the most popular product. Prices vary but three 3.4oz tubes for +/- $20 is common. And they all contain a whitening agent.
Whitening teeth while making them harder seems contradictory. Shopping on I find Colgate with the same amount of stannous fluoride priced at two 5.1oz tubes for $8. That's the better buy. (caveat, every one with stannous fluoride says whitening - sometimes, you just get fucked) Posted by: Braenyard - some Absent Friends are more equal than others _ at April 14, 2026 09:47 PM (yRrl+) 215
Again, you can't be a retard if you're going to be a bigot.

Can't stand the taste of Sensodyne, don't know how it's so popular. Colgate makes a paste for "sensitive" teeth too, and it tastes much better. I liked Aquafresh sensitive best, but it's hard to find now.

If you want maximum fluoride, get 3m high fluoride toothpaste and 3m high fluoride after toothpaste gel and 3m high fluoride mouth wash.
The only way to get more fluoride is to eat pure fluoride. Posted by: Thomas Bender at April 14, 2026 09:59 PM (XV/Pl) 224
