Slowly. Had some Record Shows to go to this month, so everything has been on the backburner for a few weeks. Got an Iron Maiden that needs some new Flipper Coils and a Star Trek ready to move into the workspace for repair this month. Also, have a guy who wants me to do a Playfield and Cabinet Swap for a Fathom this Summer. Just been enjoying the 10-12 machines here that are in good playing condition until I start back into resto work. Also, have a bunch of downed trees to cleanup after the winter. ...and fencelines to repiar once those are taken care of. Which of course take priority to pinball dorking. Pretty sure it is a standard 'Willieism' from when he introduces female performers who join him on stage. I have only seen him use it for Emmylou...but, most performers have their canned lines for occasions. If you ever saw BB King, he'd start most shows by saying 'Tonight I am X years old...', and everyone would clap as if it was his Birthday. Posted by: Don Black So it will be just like the time that David Letterman, who was at NBC and hosted a morning show, presented shots of outside the NBC studio building showing the gala daylight fireworks display for Independence Day. These, of course, were simply the recorded sounds from fireworks because there was nothing of the sort actually happening. His best move from that period was sono-bombing the Today Show host Bryan Gumbel, who was seated with guest(s) on chairs in the plaza below, while Letterman was provoking / interrupting the interview using a bullhorn from several stories above the plaza. yeah, at one point printers was the last good consumer product HP made. Then even that disappeared a few years back. They still do some good enterprise stuff, but mostly thanks to companies they bought. I recommend a 'Brother' laser printer if you don't print often. I have a feeling that there is going to be another operation, to fix Hormuz. Trump is pretty much saying it. he gave them an offramp and they are clowning around, thinking that we can't trace the crypto they are charging a few ships that need to get through. Pakis will end up in the same position Omanis did a month ago or so.
Posted by: runner at April 09, 2026 09:06 PM (GD0B3) --- There are so many wins in all of this. Trump actually got the Dems to pivot from "STOP THE WAR" to "HA! YOU STOPPED WAR! WHAT A PUSSY!" Within Iran, the power struggle can now take place while we collect tons of intel on which hard-liner needs to eat a JDAM next. Oh, and did anyone notice that Russia can now sell oil without sanctions? That pushes the price down but also destroys the discount China was getting on oil Russia could not otherwise move. Now the Chicoms have to compete on the open market. And that 50% tariff threat has China crapping itself. Their economy is in freefall, the oil shock created gas lines and now their Shadow Fleet and cheap Russian oil is gone. So many, many wins. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Secondarily, printers are becoming obsolete. At an office the are forms and instructions, - :"what is your email". - Don't you have a printer? - giggles, "yes I will have them printed and mail them to you." There was not a ready printer. Get ready to spend half a day weeding out the crap from your email box. Posted by: Braenyard - some Absent Friends are more equal than others _ at April 09, 2026 09:24 PM (ehsRc) 205

So I just looked it up, and Michigan still has a rule that citizens can use lethal force against "fleeing felons" if they are reasonably believed to present a serious danger to the public, such as a gunman fleeing a shootout with the police.
So a manic driver fleeing from the police might qualify, but I'm not sure I'd want put that to the test in the current environment. Posted by: Ace-Endorsed Author A.H. Lloyd at April 09, 2026 09:28 PM (ZOv7s) 210

Ok, check my logic on this:
1) he (and others) is posting these videos to ewetub or Twitter or Instagram. 2) therefore he is monetizing illegal activity. 3) ewetub and Twitter and Instagram, are allowing these videos to be posted. 4) so in order to drie clicks, he has to do more and more stupid, dangerous shit. 5) what is to keep someone from suing ewetub (or one of the other platforms) for encouraging this retard? Even hosting (assuming they do not monetize) would be criminal in the case of committing murder or some other crime. Posted by: Aetius451AD work phone at April 09, 2026 09:36 PM (zZu0s) 216

Love that baby elephant. If any of you have not read The Elephant Whisperer by Lawrence Anthony...I highly recommend. Have loved elephants since I was a baby and my stuffed one for my first Christmas. However, that book changed me on how connected they are to people. I will love Eric Clapton forever. It's in the way that you use it is a favorite...I mean it busts out of the gate for dancing. Incredibly talented man with friends who were as talented. If he and George Harrison could still be friends after their love of Patti Boyd tells me he's a good guy. And I will always wonder what was so special about her to write Layla.
